Location: Central London, hybrid (1 day per week on site)
Contract: Temporary, 4 months
Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week
Pay: £23.01 per hour (+ £2.78 holiday pay)

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, an international water, sanitation, and hygiene organisation, in the search for a temporary Communications Manager

This role will be focused on planning and delivering strategic communications outputs, ensuring events are of the highest standards, and providing support to wider team projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications professional to utilise and refine their skills in an impactful organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-profile communications projects, including report launches, impact case studies, stakeholder approvals, and the management of creative and design processes.
  • Produce, edit, and repurpose compelling content across multiple channels, ensuring consistently high-quality messaging that engages advocacy, corporate, and external stakeholder audiences.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, acting as the central point of coordination between teams to ensure messaging alignment, timely sign-offs, and the successful delivery of communications activity.

Key Requirements:

  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar communications role within a charitable or not-for-profit organisation, with good knowledge of events planning and utilisting content assets.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
