Job description

Our client, a leading London university are currently looking to recruit a temporary Employee Relations Advisor on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) for 4-months. The post will be looking to start as soon as possible and will be based 3-4 days on-site in Potter’s Bar.

Key responsibilities for this post will include:

  • Supporting managers working on formal employee relations processes.
  • Providing professional advice and guidance to managers regarding employee relation issues, under the direction of the Employee Relations Manager.
  • Supporting the Employee Relations Manager in case management e.g. arranging meetings, minuting, drafting investigation reports and administration.
  • Assisting the HR team to promote internal employee assistance programmes and policies.
  • Providing responses to queries regarding employee relation issues and enquiries.

To be considered for this post, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a HR setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience engaging and liaising with stakeholders with confidence.
  • Knowledge/understanding of current employment law/best practice.
