Exam Invigilator

Location: Central London
Pay: £15 per hour (+ £1.81 holiday pay)

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting the an international university in their search for a temporary Exam Invigilator to support with their December assessment period.

The role runs from Friday 11th December to Wednesday 16th December (excluding the weekend), and the shifts are from 09:00 AM to 20:00 PM, with 2 hours of breaks in the day. There will be an earlier 16:00 PM finish on the final day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a small exam environment for students sitting different assessments, including maintaining quiet, preventing personal materials being brought into the exam room, and ensuring appropriate timekeeping.
• Track varying exam start and finish times to ensure each student’s allotted exam duration is correctly monitored.
• Work closely with staff and support exam colleagues as required.

Key Requirements:

• Recent, relevant invigilation, exam, or assessment experience, ideally within a higher education environment.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
