Housing Officer
Prospectus are excited to be working with a well-established force for good to recruit a Housing Officer to join a high performing team based in London. Supporting multiple residential sites and their associated services across East and Southeast London, you will utilise your operational and strong admin experience to deliver outstanding services to residents. As the Housing Officer, you’ll work collaboratively with a broader team, ensuring that sites and residents are safe and secure, and compliant.
There is also an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop systems and processes internally, and to influence policies. You will also collaborate closely with the finance team, managing rental incomes and invoices.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, communicative and have an ethos based on an excellent customer service experience. You will be experienced at managing effecting communications for residents and service users, families, external agencies, and any other relevant stakeholders. Your administrative capability will also be excellent with confidence using a spectrum of IT platforms and having strong attention to detail.
You may not be experienced within housing and property management, this experience would be desirable, but it’s not essential and other transferable experience would be considered. Experience of holding Safeguarding responsibilities is advantageous, although training is also provided.
Due to the nature of this role, an enhanced DBS check is required.
