HR Officer
Prospectus are delighted to be working with a higher education institution and supporting with the recruitment of a HR Officer role.
This role is available on a permanent contract and full-time basis. The salary banding for this role is £31,000-£39,000 per annum (dependent on level of experience). This role is also available on a hybrid basis with travel to the office based in London.
Within this role, you will provide operational HR support across the organisation. You will act as a first point of contact for HR and employee relations enquiries, maintain HR records and management information, support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes, assist with casework and investigations, deliver training to managers and colleagues, and contribute to HR projects, policy development and wellbeing initiatives. You will also support with HR compliance, oversee HR administration and systems.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable operational HR experience within a large, multi-functional organisation. You will have experience supporting first-stage employee relations cases. You will have strong administrative and organisational skills. You will have experience using HR systems and databases. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
You will be confident advising on general HR matters, taking notes, and handling confidential information with discretion. You will be committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Desirably, you will bepart-qualified CIPD and/or have evidence of continuous professional development within the last 12 months.
