Project Manager

Location: Remote
Contract: Temporary, until January 2027
Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £24.54 per hour (+ holiday) (circa £46,400 salaried equivalent)
Start Date: ASAP

Prospectus is proud to be supporting our client, a well established national charity, in their search for a temporary Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage strategic projects, ensuring delivery within agreed quality, cost, and risk parameters.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish effective governance arrangements and reporting structures.
• Build strong working relationships across teams and departments to support successful delivery.
• Facilitate decision-making and escalate challenges where necessary.
• Support and develop project team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Develop business cases and track the benefits and outcomes of project activities.
• Use data and evidence to support planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Recent, relevant experience in a similar project role in a not-for-profit or charitable organisation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.
