We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated team at Lister House in Ripon, to provide high-quality and nutritious food to our residents in the Care Home. You’ll assist our Chef in creating maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment by carrying out a range of housekeeping task to exceptional standards.

This a full-time role, working 35 hours per week (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays). Working 5 shifts over 7 days.

Our 16+ Older Looked After Young People (OLYP), Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) services delivers specialist 24-hour supported accommodation where young people are supported to acquire the necessary skills in preparation for living independently, safely explore their increased freedom of choice and develop responsibilities associated with adulthood, whilst still having the appropriate level of support from an experienced team.

We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and support residents into independent accommodation. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Cook Road, Horsham team, who will hold a caseload of residents and meet with them weekly to build a support plan. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing

• Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living. 
• Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law.
• Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community. 
• Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
• Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance). 

General 

• Work as part of a team, on a rota shift pattern, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective, and supportive staff during the day/evening, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
• Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
• Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice.

Senior Events Executive, Global’s Make Some Noise

This is a rare opportunity for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years events experience looking to take the next step and expand their skills by working on a diverse range of events ranging from our high profile celebrity fronted gala Global’s Make Some Noise Night, to stewardship events at incredible venues including Downing Street and The House of Lords to breakfast events in Global’s Leicester Square office. In addition, you will have the chance to broaden your skills by volunteering at major events including Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball, and help shape new events led by presenters and committees.

It is a hugely exciting time to join, as events are set to play an instrumental role in helping the charity develop a new dynamic portfolio to engage new high value supporters. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future calendar and helping to meet our ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management and Supporter Stewardship (30%)

• To support the Senior Events Manager in ensuring that every event plan is delivered to the highest level

• Provide support on guest management, ensuring a smooth process for guests during the lead up to and on the day of the event.

Programmes Delivery Support (50% time)

• Provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers in delivering activities on time and within budget, including coordinating internal communication, logistics, and scheduling.

We're seeking a Contract Manager to join our Housing Management team, supporting the delivery of safe and thriving communities which our tenants are proud to call home. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Estates/Environmental Services professional who is passionate about ensuring we can provide homes in a safe, well-maintained environment.

Utilising your contract management skills and financial acumen, you'll lead on the procurement, management and monitoring of different service contracts, from grounds maintenance to tree surgery and communal cleaning to name a few; ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, focussing on getting things right first time and continuously improving the service. You'll be accountable for developing and implementing contract management frameworks, as well as undertaking regular performance reviews.

As well as managing the performance of contractors, you'll also lead and manage the performance and development of your team of Contract Officers and Administrators, providing coaching and other development support as required.

As we embark upon delivering our Tenants at Heart Corporate Plan 2025-2030, our whole focus is to put the tenant at the heart of what we do. Tenant involvement is a key part of this role; gaining their insights and support when services are procured, and ongoing monitoring, through inspections and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for ensuring tenants are kept informed about performance and variations to contracts, as well liaising with tenants to resolve issues and complaints. You'll also be responsible for providing performance related data for internal and external reporting.

This role will be prison based. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is committed to driving forward nature’s recovery on a landscape scale and we are looking for a committed and innovative Head of Nature Recovery – Maternity Cover (secondments welcome) to continue to drive forward the development of this work. This is a key role for our Trust, in which you’ll use your expertise and knowledge to continue our efforts to drive meaningful change for nature, further developing our work via our innovative collaborations, pioneering natural capital markets, meaningful farmer engagement and nature-based project demonstration.

You’ll be leading a small but dynamic team involved with a wide range of projects, including the groundbreaking Bristol Avon Catchment Market, NEIRF, a developing land advice service and support for farmers with private finance opportunities and delivery of a range of specialist ecological services including species recovery projects. This role requires someone who is self-motivated and energised, able to lead and empower staff.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Support the development of existing projects within the team including natural capital markets, farmer engagement and species recovery projects.
• Lead on the development of our first ‘farmer learning and engagement hub’ site, developing a vision and business plan for the farm alongside the team and the Director of Nature Recovery.
• Identify opportunities to enhance our current offerings for specialist ecological services, natural capital and land advice.
