School Well-being Counsellor
The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (Rape Crisis South London) is looking for experienced therapists to join our Children and Young People Counselling Service as School Well-being Counsellors. If you feel passionate about providing high quality, trauma-informed therapy to survivors of sexual violence and have experience of counselling young people, then this is the role for you.
Working alongside play therapists, family prevention practitioners and safeguarding counsellors, you will provide specialist therapy to girls and young women aged 5+ in educational settings and hubs across the South London Boroughs.
We will provide the successful candidates with:
● Clinical supervision
● A salary of £34,000 - £36,000, dependent on experience, pro rata
● An in-depth induction training programme which includes the different types of sexual violence, impacts and coping strategies and the RASASC empowerment model
● Regular CPD and developmental opportunities
● Annual leave entitlement is 27 days a year plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata) plus the period of 25 December -1 January.

The successful candidates will work 3 days a week between Monday – Friday 9am – 8pm. This is a hybrid role which includes a minimum of two days a week in the community or our Croydon office.
