Victim Support is the leading charity in England and Wales that supports people affected by crime and traumatic incidents. In order to achieve our vision we need a highly capable Director of Finance to build and improve on our high-performing finance function and to drive forward operational excellence.

Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our financial strategy, long-term financial planning, and developing commercial strategies to maximise income and operating contribution. You will also have responsibility of cash management, risk management and governance. You will be the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) for the organisation and will lead on Property and Procurement.

This is a varied and exciting role which will provide you with the opportunity of leading a well-established team of professionals, reporting on the financial performance of the organisation together with providing analysis, advice and support to facilitate decision making to deliver sound financial management.

You will be a qualified accountant, and will need to demonstrate:

· Proven experience in a leadership role;

· Experience at Board level and ability to work in collaboration with Trustees and colleagues;

· Understanding and experience of strategic risk management, finance audit and internal controls

A new Director of Fundraising is sought to provide inspiring leadership to the fundraising function of Weston Hospicecare, implementing a fundraising strategy that will build voluntary income from its current level of £2 million per annum to provide long-term and sustainable income sources for the Hospice. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven fundraising experience and a sound working knowledge of all main fundraising methods.

• Understanding of GDPR legislation and of the Fundraising Code of Conduct as it applies to the work of the charity.
• Ability to work at both strategic and operational level, including project planning, monitoring and evaluation.
• Ability to translate strategic vision into clear direction for the organisation and line reports.

The successful candidate will have experience in project management, event logistics and management, both online and in person and will be happy working with third party suppliers, as well as volunteers, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key as is experience of CMS and updating websites. Experience working with e-learning platforms/LMS would be beneficial but is not crucial.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive and managing a small team of Finance and HR personnel, the Head of Finance & Resources position is broad in scope. The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of RHSU strategy relating to finance, people and culture, governance and digital infrastructure. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced finance professional who is ideally at least part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA. An excellent understanding of charity finance, regulation and governance is required, along with experience of senior level management and leadership in a similar sized organisation. 

Skills and experience with developing strategic plans, project/change management and leading on digital infrastructure projects would also be very useful experience to succeed in the role. Strong commercial acumen would be beneficial too -against a backdrop of constantly changing commercial considerations and wider Higher Education sector pressures. 

Whilst core finance skills are essential, both at a strategic and operational level – experience in a broader resources role covering HR, IT, governance or compliance would suit this post well. A demonstrable interest and commitment to a values-driven and student-led organisation is also required.

University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) comprises three hospitals: the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals which provide services to around 750,000 people across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, East Dorset, Purbeck and parts of the New Forest.

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit an exceptional, professional and highly motivated Deputy Chief Finance Officer to provide leadership and support to the Chief Finance Officer and wider Finance team. Each year we are entrusted with over £850 million of public money and you will play a crucial role in ensuring we achieve the maximum possible value for our patients.

In conjunction with the Chief Finance Officer, the Deputy Chief Finance Officer is responsible for providing a fully comprehensive financial management service to the organisation to develop and implement the Trust's overall financial and commercial strategies.

You will support the CFO to develop and deliver the finance strategy, which supports delivery of the overall Trust strategy. This includes ensuring that resources are effectively deployed to provide the best possible care and value for money for our patients.

The role will provide leadership to the finance function including a focus on leadership and culture, talent and skills development, and recruitment and retention.

You will also have responsibility for reporting the financial position to Committees of the Trust Board, including being a standing member of the Finance and Performance Committee deputise for the CFO at Trust Board, Council of Governor and other meetings as necessary.

About You

To succeed in this role you will:

* Be a qualified accountant with significant experience working in a large, complex organisation and ideally experience of providing expert advice on both strategic and operational matters relating to all aspects of the finance and commercial portfolio.

* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable experience of leading and engaging with finance and other corporate functions to develop a mature and rounded service. You will be expected to work with partners across the Dorset Integrated Care System to develop comprehensive financial plans that are fully aligned to clinical, operational and workforce plans and stand up to detailed regulatory scrutiny so prior experience in this area would be useful.

We are excited to recruit for a Head of Content to join their Global Marketing and Communication Team, based from their London office. The purpose of this role is to lead on the commissioning and co-ordinating of compelling content to ensure growth of public support for its environmental mission as well as ensuring stakeholders are updated and inspired about their work. This role oversees audience engagement on social media channels, the web and newsletters. The post-holder has a strong focus on delivery to deadlines, as well as the development and execution of a global content strategy. Working closely with regional colleagues, the role will also ensure that there is effective distribution of content across their global network.

The successful candidate will bring excellent experience of content creation with significant editorial expertise to ensure compelling story-led content. You will have considerable experience in developing and executing successful content strategies across multiple channels with an excellent knowledge of the social media landscape, platforms, and how best to utilise these to grow audiences. You will bring exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to nurture and motivate teams. You will also demonstrate a passion for the cause, bringing a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. In addition, experience of working in a global context or across multiple networks would be an advantage.

About the role

This senior management position is key to driving and implementing the strategy for The Bell Foundation’s ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)Programme, overseeing the programme team and the budget.
You’ll lead on implementing the ESOL Programme and partnership strategies while collaborating closely with the Head of Training and Resources on the EALProgramme.

You’ll work with a dedicated team, including the Director, Communications staff, the Strategic Education Advisor, and external experts, to support theFoundation’s external policy and influencing work.

We are looking for a dynamic, confident and credible individual who can ‘hit the ground running’ and lead the ESOL Programme into the future.

As an established leader, you will have the communication skills to engage with stakeholders and develop new partnerships at a senior level and themanagement skills to lead a small, highly skilled team of staff and external consultants.
