Clinical Partnerships Lead

Fixed Term 18 months| Part Time (22.5 hours) | Salary: £23,449 per annum (£39,082 FTE) | Location: Hybrid or Remote | Close date: Tues 18 June 2024 (9am)

Join our award-winning team and help the nation enjoy better bone health. We’re a dedicated, inspiring and forward-thinking healthcare charity and our mission is to improve the bone health of the nation and prevent osteoporosis by influencing healthcare providers and professionals; supporting services to help our beneficiaries; and drive research.

We are embarking on an exciting new project to support and empower people to start and stay on their osteoporosis medication and live well with their condition. This supports our strategic goal of closing the care gap and to prevent broken bones. The Royal Osteoporosis Society has received funding to deliver a digital programme to support patients with high quality information and services to feel more confident in their decisions about their bone strengthening medicines.

We are looking for an experienced partnership lead to join our team and play a key role in embedding both this programme and the wider ROS service offering, within the NHS and key healthcare partnerships to ensure this support is accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.

The Role

As the Clinical Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for building on existing relationships with Fracture Liaison Services and developing newer relationships and leading pilot activity within primary care settings, to firmly establish referral pathways to the programme from within the NHS clinical pathways.

This role sits within the Services and Influencing directorate and supported by the Head of Clinical Engagement as part of a project team which includes a Programme Manager, a content designer and an external service design agency who will be building the programme itself.

Do you have experience of working with the NHS and healthcare professionals – and a thorough understanding of NHS systems, pathways and processes?
Do you have proven experience of strong partnership development, ideally within NHS or statutory structures?
Proven project management experience: planning, delivery and monitoring of work, including the drafting of reports; and a strong quality or service improvement ethic?

If you’re looking to join a fantastic organisation and team where you can really make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Location - In this role, you would benefit from the flexibility of working either on a hybrid basis (with the expectation to attend our central Bath office, at least 20% of your time each month), or working in a fully remote way.

How to apply

To apply, applicants should provide a comprehensive CV, including details of relevant experience and achievements. This should be supplemented by a supporting statement, demonstrating how your skills and experience meet the person specification.

We particularly welcome qualified applicants from ethnic minorities as they are under-represented in the team.
