About the role

As Marketing Manager (Telemarketing & Regular Giving Growth), you will develop and deliver effective telemarketing and cross-channel campaigns to grow the value of our Regular Giving base. By understanding donor motivations, you will deliver campaigns that prompt action and drive income through upgrade, conversion, cross-sell, winback, reactivation, and stewardship activity.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary squad, collaborate closely with colleagues across Public Impact, and manage relationships with external agencies to deliver engaging, data-driven campaigns that keep our supporters at the heart of everything we do.

In this role, you will:

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to engage supporters and grow the lifetime value of our Regular Giving base, using data and insight to understand audience needs and motivations.
• Plan and deliver telemarketing campaigns with a multi-channel approach to achieve ambitious regular giving growth income and donor conversion targets.
• Drive upgrade, cross-sell, reactivation, winback and conversion telemarketing campaigns utilising Email, Direct Mail, and SMS, ensuring optimal performance and return on investment.
• Develop inspiring, audience-focused creative and calling guides, working with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality supporter experiences.
• Collaborate with data and insight teams to develop robust campaign selections, embedding test-and-learn principles to improve results.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sharing insights and learnings to inform future activity.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant experience delivering telemarketing campaigns that grow existing customer or supporter value.
• Experience planning and delivering multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, including Telemarketing, Direct Mail, Email, and SMS.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex campaigns on time and to budget.
• Experience managing external partners, including telemarketing and creative agencies, to deliver high-quality work.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.

Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust is looking for a Volunteering Development Manager - Hospice to play a key role in supporting the development of volunteering initiatives and projects across the three Acorns Hospices in Walsall, Worcester and Birmingham.

About the Role

Acorns Children's Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative care and support for children and their families. Each year, we support over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families, including those who are bereaved. Volunteers are at the heart of our work, and this role is key to ensuring they are integrated into our services and supported in their roles.

As Volunteering Development Manager - Hospice, you will:

• Maximise the profile of volunteering both internally and externally

The Opportunity

An exceptional interim Director of Finance & Operations (DFO) is sought to join at a pivotal moment in this organisation’s journey.

Operating in a challenging financial context, with a deficit budgeted for the current financial year following a major change programme, the incoming DFO will play a critical role in restoring financial stability, strengthening governance, and ensuring robust infrastructure across finance, IT, facilities and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership of Finance, IT, Governance and Facilities, ensuring development and implementation of strategies and effective practices across all operational areas.
• Drive financial recovery and sustainability: deliver robust financial planning, budgeting, reporting and control processes, while providing clear and strategic advice to the Board and Executive Director.

Job description

The National Flood Forum is partnering Rochdale Borough Council to deliver one of 25 national projects comprising Defra’s Flood and Coastal Resilience and Innovation Programme (FCRIP) which is managed by the Environment Agency and runs until March 2027. The programme aims to test and create new, innovative approaches to flood and coastal resilience that can be adapted and rolled out more widely as good practice and new ways of delivering positive change.

Our project centres on two frequently flood affected and vulnerable neighbourhoods in the Roch Valley in Rochdale district The communities are complex and include a high incidence of social, economic and environmental disadvantage. It aims to develop a more holistic approach to flood and climate resilience with better management of residual flood risks through new, innovative cross-sectoral approaches that also address climate justice and both flood and fuel poverty. The project will deliver a step change in flood literacy and community participation, increase peoples’ capabilities to respond to flooding, improve flood and climate resilience of ageing housing stock, enhance surface water management, neighbourhood water conservation, natural flood risk management and local green infrastructure and develop better financial resilience for homes and businesses. 

This is an exciting role for someone who has experience working at community grassroots or who is passionate about people and working with communities. As Grants and Bids Manager, you will manage statutory funding applications of five, six and seven figure multi-year income compliant with commissioner/funder requirements and oversee the project management of applications – managing timelines, activities, delegating tasks and ensuring stakeholders meet them, support decision-making through providing relevant and informed advice and producing high quality funding proposals and applications.
