Location
This position is based remotely. But you must be a resident of the United Kingdom with all the necessary legislative ‘right to work’ documentation. You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

As an Assistant Community Fundraiser, you will play an integral part in supporting the Community Fundraising team to reach their annual income target. You will oversee the running of the Edinburgh fundraising office, including stock management and managing a small team of volunteers. You will help support the team by co-ordinating supporter and volunteer communications, and attend fundraising events when required.
About You
- Experience in an office or customer facing environment

- Excellent administration skills with a sound working knowledge of CRM databases, Windows-based software, including Word, Excel and Outlook and Teams.

Develop, manage, and maintain a trust fundraising portfolio with a clear, scheduled pipeline of funding applications, coordinating opportunities and team resources to meet targets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Fundraiser to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in securing international grants and funding to support our programmes and initiatives around the world. Qualifications:

Purpose of the job/about the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Fundraising Team at Dementia UK, where you will help deliver our community strategy developing new opportunities and relationships with local groups and organisations.
As an experienced and dedicated Regional Fundraiser you will deliver excellent stewardship support, proactively managing and motivating volunteers to undertake fundraising and awareness activities, ensuring a sustainable, long-term revenue stream for Dementia UK.
Collaborating closely with both the Regional Fundraising team and the broader Community and Events team, you will champion our products engaging supports in challenge events, and campaigns across the region. Key Fundraising Responsibilities
- Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.
- Focusing in particular on our website and social media channels, communicate our achievements, impacts and needs with a view to influencing IPWSO’s online supporters to make donations and engage in fundraising initiatives.

Purpose of the Community Fundraising Officer role:
As Community Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in nurturing relationships with existing and prospective supporters, as well as overseeing a portfolio of community fundraising events and activities in order to increase donations. About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked.
