Alongside this, you will support the team in launching and delivering an innovative programme created in partnership with our Youth Advisory Board.

Audience Engagement

• Track and report performance against targets and KPIs for the Head of Fundraising & Engagement.

Hall Hire and Event Co-ordination
• Be the first point of contact for hall hire enquiries and manage all related admin.
• Oversee stocks, supplies, and space organisation for events.
• Lead setup and breakdown for lectures and venue lettings.
• Arrange and manage bookings for external event venues, handling all logistics.
• Organise catering for special events and meetings both at Barnard’s Inn and other venues.
• Be responsible for excellent customer care of existing and new venue hire clients.
• Organise all activity around venue hire events, including collaborating with the AV team
• Liaise and support the Head of Fundraising & Engagement over the promotion of Barnards’ Inn to increase income generation from lettings.

Person specification:
Essential Skills & Experience
- Customer Service Excellence: Proven experience delivering high-quality customer care, ideally in a fundraising, or educational setting. Ability to handle enquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- CRM and Data Management: Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (we use Beacon) including data entry, segmentation, and reporting. Experience with data imports/exports and maintaining data accuracy.
- Event Coordination: Experience planning and delivering events, including logistics, venue liaison, catering, and AV coordination. Comfortable acting as Duty Manager and supporting evening lectures and events.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage supporters, respond to enquiries, and write engaging responses.

Cranstoun is an independent charity and leading provider of specialist treatment, harm reduction and recovery services to those affected by drug and alcohol use. This is an exciting opportunity to become a Key Worker within our high performing psychosocial drug and alcohol service in HMP Birmingham.
We provide a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol. Our skilled and compassionate team work closely with people who use our services to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide.
You will be based in our psychosocial team working with adult males (over 18 years old). You will be responsible for delivering a range of elements of our substance use work including case management, assessments, care planning, the delivery of one-to-one interventions to include harm reduction and motivational work, group work, and engagement support as well as other associated duties. You need to be committed to supporting people who use our services to make positive changes to prepare them for release into the community, and you will arrange continuity of care. You will work in collaboration with the clinical team and integrated working is a key element of this role. You will work within the prison setting and contribute towards the wider prison drug strategy.
Having experience of supporting people with complex health needs including substance use, you will bring knowledge and commitment to deliver drug and alcohol treatment. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and a desire to support the lives of people who use our services to be healthier and safer by delivering a high-quality service.
Experience of working with drug and alcohol use is essential. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently and be comfortable and enthusiastic, both with the highlighted client group and working in partnership with other service providers. Previous experience or knowledge of working with individuals on opiate replacement treatment, and/or involved in the criminal justice system will be advantageous.

Business and Administration Coordinator
Coordinate the administrative function of the Southwark Catholic Youth Service, ensuring the smooth planning, and evaluation of youth events, training programmes, pilgrimages, and Mission Team administration. The post-holder acts as the central operational hub for planning, finance, admin, communications and volunteer coordination, ensuring systems and logistics run efficiently and on time so the Director and mission staff can focus on strategy and operational delivery. Key Responsibilities
1) Strategic Administration & Planning
a) Maintain the master events calendar, ensuring all youth service activities are scheduled, planned and tracked.

Key Responsibilities

The Policy and Campaigns Officer will develop policy positions and campaigns that will help ensure that the needs, rights and priorities of those living with DMD are understood and acted on by decision makers, policy makers, parliament and government. The Officer will work closely with colleagues in the Policy and Communications team to support a cohesive and impactful approach to policy, engagement and communications.
Job Description
- To ensure that the charity’s policy and campaigning work is firmly grounded in the views and experiences of the DMD community and to ensure that they are consulted and involved in the development (and delivery where appropriate) of Duchenne UK’s policy positions and campaigns.
- To maximise the benefits of our existing relationships with civil servants, parliamentarians, policy makers, relevant organisations (such as NICE) and charity sector professionals and to create new relationships which help us to achieve our aims.
- To organise events and parliamentary activity working with parliamentary supporters and the DMD community.
- To devise low-budget campaigns aimed at creating positive change in policy, practice or attitudes that will improve the lives and outcomes of those living with DMD.
- To create campaign assets such as digital and social media content in collaboration with the communications team.
- To draft consultation responses, policy positions and occasional short reports summarising the findings of research we have conducted or commissioned.
- To monitor relevant government proposals and initiatives, identifying those likely to have a major impact on the lives of those living with DMD, and to seek to influence their development.
- To stay abreast of relevant academic research, build relationships with key academics and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Person Specification
Essential experience:
- Experience of working in a policy and/or campaigning role.
- Experience of writing for a range of audiences and using different channels to produce convincing, clear and succinct content across a range of platforms such as blogs, web and print.
- Experience of working with civil servants and parliamentarians.
- Experience of using digital and social media for influencing and campaigning purposes.
Desirable experience:
- Project management experience including initiating, planning, implementing and evaluating campaigns and organising events.
- Experience working in health and social care space, with pharmaceutical industry and/or a highly regulated industry and engaging with regulators.
Essential knowledge:
- Working knowledge of the healthcare system, regulatory framework and the social model of disability.
- Knowledge of how policy and legislation are developed in Westminster and Whitehall.

- Manage posting of cash & card payments on Xero
- Credit control
- Code purchase invoices on Hubdoc
- Manage collection and storage of invoices
- Set up and maintain system to track some donation types
- HR – administer HR system
- Health and Safety – administer the H&S system
- Handle customer queries and invoice amendments

Qualifications and experience (necessary)
- Bookkeeping and Accounting Software skills
