The Belay Foundation supports adoptive, kinship and special guardianship families raising children who have experienced early developmental trauma, often alongside neurodiversity. Founded in 2020 from lived experience, Belay offers something many families struggle to find elsewhere: practical, in-home support and expert guidance that’s genuinely trauma-responsive, delivered by people who understand what these families are living through.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage in our development. Over the past year, we have strengthened our services, systems and organisational foundations and developed ambitious plans for the future. As we continue to grow our reach and impact, we're looking for an experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to help tell our story, strengthen our profile and build meaningful relationships with the families, partners and supporters who make our work possible.
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, you'll lead our communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement activity, helping more families discover our services while supporting fundraising, partnerships and organisational growth. You'll also play a key role in embedding lived experience across our communications and engagement, ensuring the voices of families remain at the heart of everything we do.
This is a home-based role for two days per week (0.4 FTE), offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to shape a growing national charity. There may be potential to increase the hours over time, subject to funding, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the organisation. This is a home‑based role, but applicants must be permanently based, and have the right to work, in the United Kingdom. For legal, tax, and operational reasons, we cannot consider applications from outside the UK.
If you're a creative and strategic communicator who enjoys building relationships, creating compelling content and using communications to drive social impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Please see the Candidate Application Pack for further details, including the full job description and the application/ interview process.

Harris Hill are delighted to be working exclusively with this national charity to recruit their new Finance Manager. (Hybrid)
About the role
The Charity is looking for a talented and motivated Finance Manager to join us at an exciting point in our journey. As we are now halfway through delivering our 2030 strategy, this role offers a unique opportunity to play a central part in strengthening their financial sustainability and enabling the association to achieve its long-term ambitions.
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial management whilst driving continuous improvement across our finance processes and systems. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Operations, you will be a trusted partner to budget holders and colleagues across all departments.
What you’ll be doing
About you
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative and forward-thinking approach:
Senior Grants Partnerships Manager
Salary: £45,200 – £50,500 per annum, including London weighting where applicable, dependent on experience
Location: Fully flexible, with occasional travel to our Salisbury or London office, plus national and international travel as required (up to 10–20% of working time)
Working pattern: 30–37.5 hours per week, with flexible and home working arrangements. Permanent contract.
Hope and Homes for Children is looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven fundraiser to lead high-value global partnerships and help millions of separated children get back to family. We have a compelling proposition; we're looking for someone with a compelling track record in generating trusts and foundations income.
About the role
As our Senior Grants Partnerships Manager, you'll own a portfolio of up to ten large trusts, foundations and institutional funders at six and seven figure level, deepening existing relationships while opening up new ones across North America, the Gulf States, East Asia, Northern Europe and the UK.
Working closely alongside our Programmes and Advocacy colleagues, and sitting within the Programmes team so you're close to the work itself, you'll research and win new donors, shape compelling proposals and steward the relationships that follow. You'll also lead on assigned institutional funding relationships, contribute to our income growth strategy and help position HHC as the partner of choice for those investing in child rights and social care reform globally.
It's a role with real ownership, and your contribution will go straight to what matters most: helping millions of separated children get back to family.
What you'll bring
You'll have a proven track record of securing five, six and seven figure grants from large foundations, trusts and institutional donors. You'll be able to write and develop high-quality proposals and manage complex budgets. Your relationship management skills will be exceptional, and you'll know how to convey HHC's mission compellingly to a wide range of senior audiences.
You'll be collaborative and culturally empathetic, comfortable working across teams, and equally at ease leading face-to-face cultivation as you are driving prospect research and pipeline development. Most importantly, you'll share our conviction that every child belongs in a family, and understand that every partnership you build and every proposal you win brings us closer to consigning orphanages to history.
About Hope and Homes for Children
Orphanages don't protect children, they harm them. The last thing an orphanage can provide is the first thing a child needs: someone to love them. Decades of evidence shows that the bond between a child and their family is vital for their development, and that orphanages subject children to high levels of abuse and neglect.
Today, over 5.4 million children are confined to orphanages worldwide, and more than 80% of them are not orphans at all. Children belong in families. They need protection, encouragement, play, laughter and love: somewhere to call home and someone to love them. You can help us make this a reality for children.

We're looking for people with practical experience of the funding and grant-making environment, who can bring their sound judgement relating to this to the team. You will also bring strong analytical, project and stakeholder and relationship management skills, alongside the ability to be adaptable and comfortably work at pace.
You’ll be joining a dynamic and welcoming geographically dispersed team, working with hugely important and fascinating projects that are responding to and addressing a wide range of topics across the Fund’s four community-led missions.

This role supports our crucial non-therapeutic work, facilitating community and helping members to overcome practical barriers to healing through casework management. As Casework and Community Manager you will support one caseworker and volunteers or placement students to provide high-quality casework in housing, welfare benefits, access to health, childcare and entitlements, education and employment, and access to legal advice in immigration and asylum matters. You will also carry a small caseload of your own. In total, the casework team supports around 30 people a year.
RCJ Advice is an exceptional Citizens Advice and Law Centre delivering national legal advice services, both frontline and second tier, to people who are unable to afford legal representation and advice. We are based within the Royal Courts of Justice, the Central London Family Court and community sites across London, where we deliver local Citizens Advice services.
This post is a new role within our Miscarriage of Justice Support Service, the only national service in England and Wales providing specialist support to people affected by miscarriages of justice. Our role is to support individuals whose criminal convictions have been quashed by the Court of Appeal. Many clients have spent many years, and sometimes decades, in prison before their convictions were overturned. As a result, many experience complex trauma, institutionalisation and significant challenges associated with release and reintegration.
Our work is grounded in the belief that those affected by miscarriages of justice deserve not only to have their convictions overturned, but to be supported with dignity, continuity, and recognition as they rebuild their lives. We offer long-term, person-centred, trauma-informed support tailored to the needs of each individual.
Working alongside the two MJSS Caseworkers, the specialist Mental Health Nurse will provide mental health assessments, psycho-social support and interventions to people affected by a serious miscarriages of justice.
The role includes support planning, delivery of interventions within professional competence, facilitating access to appropriate services, liaison with health and social care providers, and supporting individuals through key stages of their journey, including whilst waiting on their appeal to be heard (whilst still in prison), possible release from custody and community reintegration. The focus will be on MJSS clients but may expand to their family members or other close relations who can also be deeply affected by the client’s incarceration and subsequent release.
The two Caseworkers are based at our offices within the Royal Courts of Justice in London. The team meet clients in person initially, to build a relationship, which will involve travel across England and Wales. Once a relationship has been established, typically we then communicate via telephone and online, but people may still need in-person support e.g. attending appointments with them.
Ideally the post-holder would come into the office at least several times a month to build and maintain an excellent working relationship with the Caseworkers, giving the option to work at other times from home or to travel. Travel for this role will vary according to the needs of each client, but we expect this to be round once a fortnight. All travel expenses will be paid by RCJ Advice.
RCJ Advice is a unique Citizens Advice and Law Centre providing legal advice and support to people at a time when they need it most.
