Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a practice lead within our Children & Young People’s Service, working with young people with complex needs.
• Drive the development and delivery of substance misuse prevention and early intervention programmes in educational settings.
• Build strong relationships with schools, PRUs, youth services, and voluntary organisations.
• Represent the service at education forums, safeguarding panels, and partnership boards.
• Line manage the Targeted Intervention Coordinator and oversee the Youth Ambassadors programme.
• Provide training and consultation to professionals on issues facing young people around substance misuse.
• Deliver high-quality interventions for young people with complex needs, including assessments, care planning, and psychosocial support.
• Lead education-focused initiatives such as targeted ter 2 workshops and interventions.
• Develop resources and toolkits for schools and youth settings.
• Ensure accurate data collection and reporting for educational interventions.
• Support the Team Leader with case management, audits, and service development.
• Champion safeguarding and trauma-informed practice across all activities.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in multi-agency working and building strong partnerships.
• Knowledgeable about young people’s substance misuse, safeguarding, and harm reduction.
• Skilled in delivering education programmes and managing staff or volunteers.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). 
• You will need to work flexibly countywide across Buckinghamshire so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.

The Role

As part of the Birmingham Forward Steps Partnership, the team provide early years and family support for children aged 0–19 (or 25 with SEND). The Children’s Centres and Family Hubs across Erdington, Hodge Hill, Perry Barr and Sutton Coldfield offer safe, welcoming spaces where families can access support, advice, and activities. From parenting groups and sensory rooms to health referrals and stay-and-play sessions, the experienced teams walk alongside families, helping them build on their strengths and navigate challenges. Key areas of responsibility include:

• Lead and manage the Family Support team to deliver effective support for families with children aged 0–19 (with a 0–5 primary focus).
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing safeguarding practice, training and compliance.
• Ensure high-quality assessments, planning and delivery of 1-1 and group interventions.
• Provide reflective supervision, annual appraisals and support staff to develop their skills and confidence.
• Oversee adherence to Health & Safety, including Lone Working and safe home-visiting practice.
• Build strong multi-agency partnerships to achieve positive, sustained outcomes for families.
• Lead engagement strategies to reach and support hard-to-reach families.
• Ensure robust data quality, case recording, and preparation for audits and inspections (e.g., Ofsted, safeguarding audits).

We are looking for someone with:

• A NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Health, Social Care or related field.
• Leadership experience, supervising, supporting and motivating staff.

• Experience engaging hard to reach families and delivering evidence based family support programmes.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative and proactive individual to join our marketing team at CoppaFeel! – this role will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team at CoppaFeel!, with ambitious plans happening in 2026, and the opportunity to own and develop a new area of our business.

We’re seeking an individual with experience in developing and nurturing relationships with high profile ambassadors and patrons in the charity sector. The right candidate will take the lead in identifying cross-functional projects across our organisation where high profile ambassadors and patrons could help further our work to end the late diagnosis of breast cancer in young people, including fundraising, influencing and awareness raising campaigns. The successful candidate will be confident project managing high profile relationships, with existing connections to talent, as well as being fully immersed in youth culture. They will have experience and understanding of working with influential external stakeholders, and will play a key role in shaping new opportunities in this area for CoppaFeel!.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced ambassador professional who wants to make an impact at a small organisation with their vision and innovation. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider Marketing, Fundraising, Operations and Education teams within the organisation.

You’ll sit within the Marketing department and report to the Marketing Director. You’ll work closely with the Senior Engagement & Events Manager, Content Manager, Senior Challenge Events Manager, Head of Partnerships, Storyteller Manager and Senior Policy Manager.

This is a fixed term role for 18 months. The role is part time for 3 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Help raise awareness of CoppaFeel! amongst 18-24 year olds by creating, developing, and nurturing long-term, high-level relationships and strategic engagement plans for ambassadors and high profile supporters that resonate with this group. Lead on creating our ambassador and high profile supporter strategy, and manage how this is executed across the organisation.

• Lead collaboration with teams across CoppaFeel!, including Marketing, Fundraising and Education to create plans to integrate our ambassadors and high profile supporters. Provide expert guidance on celebrity and ambassador activity to ensure alignment with our values and strategic objectives.

• Develop and deliver an effective Ambassador Relations strategy that drives impact across campaigns and cross-organisational projects. Create new opportunities that contribute to CoppaFeel!’s strategic and financial goals.

• Play a lead role in identifying and creating new ambassador and high profile supporter relationships.

• Develop new and meaningful engagement opportunities for existing and prospective ambassadors, patrons and high profile supporters, ensuring best in class planning, delivery, and relationship management. Finding captains for our fundraising treks.

• Work closely with the Marketing Department and Marketing Director to establish effective processes around ambassador management, including social media management, and impact reporting

• Work in partnership with the full Marketing team to ensure strong executions and delivery of overall results.

• Work with leads in Education, EDI and Fundraising to help deliver relationships supporting their areas.

• Support our organisation’s Press function, working collaboratively with our Press agency and Marketing Director to identify appropriate opportunities for ambassadors and high profile talent.

• Support our content creator work, working collaboratively with our Content Manager and Social Media Manager to identify appropriate opportunities for ambassadors and high profile talent. Work with our EDI team to ensure high profile talent and ambassadors reflect our diverse audience group.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role leading on ambassador and high profile supporter relationship management, either client or agency side.

• Experience working in a celebrity environment, including talent booking, long-term relationship building and project management. Confident independently owning high profile ambassador and supporter relationships, with strong experience working collaboratively with high profile talent.

• Demonstrable ability to deliver ambassador talent strategies, tailored to key audiences and working with others to execute.

• Strong project management skills.

• Highly organised with the ability to use initiative to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• A strong understanding of risk management.

• Understanding of Gen Z audiences and insights, and how these translate into high profile supporters and ambassadors, including awareness of trends.

More about the role

This key role within the Insights team has a focus on delivering marketing selections, implementing supporter journeys, and delivering insights on fundraising, communications and engagement performance. The Insights team sits within the Data & Insights Department – a team of 10 colleagues who are working towards our Data Strategy vision of our information being trusted, accessible and used to help pets and people thrive together.

You'll collaborate closely with the Insights Manager to deliver marketing selections and supporter journeys, as well as analysis and insights that deepen our understanding of our clients and supporters.
 

You will have the opportunity to problem solve and experiment to help us drive forward our data maturity, all whilst being a part of a friendly, welcoming and collaborative team. The Insights team provide the metrics, reports and analysis that underpin evidence-based decision making at Blue Cross, and ensure reporting adheres to all legislative and regulatory requirements and quality and integrity standards.

About you

We will need you to use various analytical tools, skills and techniques to design and develop reports and dashboards to tell stories in a compelling way and confidently be able to analyse complex data from diverse sources.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

Our compassionate and dynamic Adult Therapeutic Practitioners provide the ‘beating heart’ of support within our multi-disciplinary teams working with individuals of all ages affected by domestic abuse, including those with harmful behaviours, and sexual violence.

This varied and rewarding role involves delivering trauma-informed groupwork and limited one-to-one support across a range of programmes, including:

• Empowerment and recovery groups for those who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse.
• Behaviour change programmes for individuals using harmful behaviours in their relationships.
• Digital peer support and learning opportunities through our online survivor platform, ‘Connecting You’.

Working collaboratively with our IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor), ISVA (Indenpendent Sexual Violence Advisor) and Behaviour Change teams, you will help ensure that support is safe, inclusive, and effective for people with a range of experiences and risks. You will play a vital part in championing people to recover from trauma, build safe relationships, and move forward with dignity and hope.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

Group Facilitation and Delivery

• Deliver structured, evidence-based and trauma responsive group programmes for victims/survivors and individuals who have used harm.
• Foster safe, inclusive spaces that promote empowerment, emotional safety, and constructive challenge.

• Design and deliver trauma-informed self-paced tutorials and reflective learning tools.

Peer Mentoring and Survivor Involvement

• Support the recruitment, mentoring and involvement of ‘experts by experience’ in group delivery.
• Encourage and nurture survivor voices and peer leadership within both in-person and digital forums.
• Training and Awareness-Raising.
• Deliver training sessions to professionals and external partners where required.
• Speak at community or public events to raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence, healthy relationships, and recovery.

General
