To fulfil our exciting campaign ambitions, we are recruiting a Head of Philanthropy – Global, to maximise philanthropic funding and to take our campaign to the next level.
A key member of the Development and Alumni Relations Office’s (DARO) Philanthropy team, you will be responsible for growing major gifts opportunities and building a sustainable pipeline of future donations from global philanthropic markets. You will have experience of delivering against financial targets, along with the ability to translate complex information into a compelling ask in both verbal and written form. As the Head of Philanthropy - Global, you will be responsible for growing our international major gifts programme. In collaboration with the Associate Director of Philanthropy you will develop and implement fundraising strategies to increase major giving in Asia and North America as well as emerging areas of focus. You will manage a personal portfolio of six figure + (GBP) potential supporters and personally raise gifts in excess of £1m p/a. You will manage the international philanthropy team of two individuals and support them to deliver their annual fundraising and supporting targets.
As a senior fundraiser in DARO, you will be innovative, self-motivated, and take ownership of fundraising opportunities. As part of a dynamic team and led by some of the most respected names in higher education fundraising, you will work across the University to generate significant gifts for amazing philanthropic projects and encourage new donors to make long-term, sustainable gifts. What You’ll Be Doing
As our Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Retention & Development, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our fundraising campaigns and projects, helping to retain and maximise the lifetime value of our supporters. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Director of Charitable Operations to join our Executive Leadership Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape the future of our work and ensure we continue improving the lives of local people affected by cancer.
About the Role
As a key member of Big C’s Executive leadership team, you will bring a specialist knowledge of cancer and act as an ambassador for the charity in this area of expertise.
You will serve as the clinical lead for the charity with leadership and management responsibilities of our Cancer Support Centres and Hubs, our Health Academy programmes, and of the teams that deliver them. This includes collaborating with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable services for anyone affected by cancer. An example we are proud of is the practical help with social and financial concerns through our Citizens Advice welfare advisors.
You will also support the Chief Executive with the strategic development and direction of Big C’s cancer support services and health academy programmes. This role requires clinical expertise and demonstrable experience to successfully lead the delivery of Big C’s charitable operations to meet rising demand.
On occasion, like other members of the Executive team, you will be required to deputise for the Chief Executive in their absence.
Location: You will be based in Big C’s office in Centrum, a bright and modern building on Norwich Research Park. Informally, some home working is possible, but you will need to work from the office and other Big C sites regularly.
Hours: 35 hours per week

This role does not own all services delivered through digital channels. Alongside this, we have been developing a new AI-powered tool to help kinship carers access trusted information quickly and accurately, 24/7. You will lead the evolution of these digital services ensuring they are safe, ethical, resilient and data-informed, and that innovation is always grounded in reliability, safeguarding and user trust.
You’ll play a key role in the Department for Education funded national Training and Support Service, ensuring kinship carers can easily access and book high-quality training through our digital platforms.
You’ll oversee content design in collaboration with internal and external subject experts and kinship carers themselves and lead the digital and content streams for Kinship Minds, including the development and delivery of our e-learning platform and curriculum.
This role sits at the intersection of digital service delivery, product development and content design. At Kinship, content design is distinct from communications or marketing. It focuses on designing clear, accessible and trauma-informed information, learning content and user journeys that enable kinship carers to understand their options, make decisions and access support. Content is treated as part of the service itself and is central to the quality, safety and effectiveness of our digital platforms.
This is a role for a digital leader who is both strategic and operationally grounded. You’ll balance innovation with delivery, experimentation with governance, and ambition with accountability. You’ll champion inclusive, accessible and co-produced design, ensuring digital products support real-world service delivery and improve outcomes for kinship families.
You will work closely with colleagues in the Communications and Policy team (who sit in a separate department and lead external communications, campaigns and social media) and who own the external communications strategy. What will you do?
This newly formed role will be embedded within the site management team. To be successful in this role, applicants will be required to:
- Assist the Senior Premises Officer with maintenance tasks as required to ensure a safe and effective working environment. Must be able perform basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, changing locks etc.)
- Assist with water testing, testing of alarms and other routine tasks as directed.
- Set and un-set the site alarm systems when required.
- Assist with the opening and closing, unlocking and locking of the site gates and buildings, including evening and weekend use.
- Be responsible for the security of the site when on duty including the locking of all doors and windows.
- Assist the events manager with delivery of events, particularly during evenings and weekends.
- Assist with the cleaning of the site as and when needed.
- Assist with room setup and moving of furniture safely. This includes preparing spaces to host events and functions, packing down and cleaning afterwards. And to service ongoing regular lettings.

The Sexual Violence (SV) Alliance is a ground-breaking collaboration between seven specialist sexual violence organisations: four Rape Crisis Centres (nia, Rape Crisis South London, Solace and Women & Girls Network) and three specialist organisations, (Galop, Respond, and SurvivorsUK). We are seeking a visionary Director to lead our strategic and operational transformation, ensuring our services are inclusive, responsive, and survivor-led. The role will be based at nia, but will work across, and be accountable to, all Alliance members.
As Director, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the Alliance’s strategic and operational goals. You will lead the Alliance Management Team, support the Leadership Team, and work alongside experts with lived experience to improve service access, consistency, and responsiveness for London’s diverse survivor communities — especially those facing the greatest intersectional disadvantage.

We’re looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and hands on practical delivery skills to fundraising. The role involves:
• Leadership and management of all charitable income streams and developing new forms of support
• Building the growth of philanthropic income
• Implementing and refining our fundraising strategy
• Contributing to the management and future direction of the Museum as part of the Leadership Team

As our Operational Development Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and services that reduce alcohol-related harm. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll ensure our programmes are inclusive, impactful, and grounded in behavioural science.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and delivery of harm reduction interventions and prevention.
- Driving operational planning and ensuring interventions align with public health objectives.

The Role
We’re seeking a visionary and collaborative Communications Lead to lead the next phase of our communications strategy. This role is about more than messaging — it’s about shaping a compelling and inspiring public voice for creative climate action.
You will be responsible for our brand, storytelling, content strategy, and creative outputs—ensuring that everything we do reflects our values, amplifies our impact, and deepens our reach across the cultural and climate landscape. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our impact including welcoming new cultural organisations, creative practitioners, environmental partners, and funders into our network.
This is a digital-first communications role, with a strong focus on content development, storytelling, and designing varied communication campaigns. You’ll oversee our editorial voice across blogs, email, social media, and digital content. Alongside our Marketing Lead, you will ensure our insights, tools, and narratives are warm, purpose-focused, clear, accessible, and optimised for reach and engagement.
