We help individuals with mental health problems to find paid employment or return to their current role after a period of ill health. Your challenge? To do everything you can to help the individuals we work with to source appropriate work experience placements and paid roles with local organisations/employers. Day to day, you’ll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive links with community mental health teams (CMHRS), Early Intervention Into Psychosis (EIIP) Teams, partner organisations, local employers and other relevant agencies and have the initiative to develop and promote the service. Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments and reviews are completed in a timely manner.
As well as a good understanding of the IPS model of working, mental health problems and the issues and barriers this can create for our clients, you’ll need excellent motivational, presentation and listening skills and a willingness to travel in the local area and to work outside of office hours as required.
There is one vacancy being recruited for covering a smaller geographical area of East Surrey however the delivery is Surrey and borders wide. The successful candidate will be based in Leatherhead office. The post-holder will therefore be a car driver, with access to their own vehicle.
This is a permanent part-time role requiring the post holder to work 22.5 hours per week.

Youth Enquiry Service (YES) is a charity that has supported young people in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. We have an established reputation for offering accessible, friendly, and safe services for young people, which includes one-to-one counselling, sexual health information, and drop-in information, advice, and guidance.
This is an exciting time for YES, as we have recently been awarded funding to expand our services as an early-intervention mental health support hub for young people. The person
You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families. About the role
As a Lived Experience Coordinator, you’ll deliver a programme of involvement activities with the aim of ensuring the views and experiences of individuals with lived experience of bad housing or homelessness informs all of Shelter’s work. We’ll also rely on you to deliver involvement activities across the organisation which will shape the ongoing design, delivery and governance of our work. People with lived experience will be involved in a range of ways too, including involvement groups, taking part in events within local communities, co-designing services and campaigns, sharing stories and speaking out about the housing emergency. The overriding aim is to work closely alongside people with lived experience to influence and steer the direction of Shelter’s work, so that lived experience informs everything we do.

About you

The Role
The organisation is fully committed to the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved in the life of the Church in the second-largest diocese in England. The safeguarding adviser will manage safeguarding referrals and undertake casework within Oxfordshire. The casework will involve situations of current and past abuse which occurred within a church context and ensure survivors of abuse have access to support and services.
The role will involve advising church officers and clergy in dealing with safeguarding concerns and ensuring that practice is in line with national Church of England policy and guidance.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, has excellent interpersonal skills and will want to promote best practice within safeguarding. You will work alongside parishes as they ensure that churches are safe for all by providing support, advice and guidance.
You do not need to be a practising Christian or have a faith to work with us - around 50% of staff are not practising Christians but are comfortable with the Christian ethos that underpins the work it does. However, all staff do have a desire to make a difference.
The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified caseworker in a field relevant to safeguarding such as social work, social justice, police work, or probation with current registration where applicable. You will have the ability to demonstrate transferrable knowledge across the client groups, as well as experience working with victims or survivors of abuse is a must.
Please note this role does require the post holder to have the ability to travel within a large geographical and sometimes within rural areas where there is no access to public transport when required.
