The Head of Safeguarding is a senior role responsible for the overall management, development, and strategic direction of the Safeguarding Department. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals within the Diocese. The Head of Safeguarding will lead a team, drive strategic initiatives, oversee policies and procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders to create a culture of safeguarding excellence. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of safeguarding principles, and the ability to navigate complex organisational structures.
The package includes a competitive salary, flexi-time scheme, an 8% non-contributory pension with an additional 5% matched contributions, hybrid working (50%), and 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and four customary days a year (between Christmas and New Year).

The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) will be responsible for increasing the reach of local palliative care and bereavement support services to all demographics of the local population. The CEC will be embedded within the local community to bring the voice of those people into Sue Ryder and to help connect service users with people and organisations that can provide them with the right support in ways that meets their needs.

Community Learning Partnerships is a highly recognised, successful Leeds based charity with over 30 years of experience working in deprived areas to reduce inequality, poverty, and deprivation by improving wellbeing in Leeds through the provision of learning, skills, and personal development opportunities.
We are looking for a finance professional, someone who can provide the Charity with sound financial management. This role will be considered for hybrid working on completion of successful probationary period, although a minimum of 2 days in the office will be required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Ø AAT full or part qualification or other equivalent relevant qualification or experience
Ø Experience in financial management and payroll processing
Ø Full understanding of all aspects of book-keeping
Ø Proficient in Sage Line 50 accounts
Ø Outstanding numeracy skills and accurate data entry
Ø Experience of working within the charity / third sector would be desirable

We have an exciting opportunity to join our thriving and committed Community and Membership Fundraising team. This is a new role, which is responsible for supporting and equipping Salvation Army churches and centres across the UK to fundraise in their local community to support the mission of The Salvation Army. As the role will be part of a pilot, you will have the opportunity to develop new ways of working, use your creativity to implement new ideas, and will be able to influence how we support local fundraising in the future.
The Salvation Army has 620 churches and community centres, which work at the heart of communities, serving the most vulnerable people, across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Alongside the locally driven operations, The Salvation Army operates centrally co-ordinated and managed social services, including residential programmes for homeless people, residential detox centres, and refuges for victims of domestic violence, and safe houses and services for the victims and survivors of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. You will play a key role in equipping and supporting Salvation Army churches to fundraise to support some of the most excluded people and communities in the UK.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in church-based and community fundraising, has strengths in inspiring others to act, is able to generate and implement new ideas, and is able to work independently using their own initiative.
This is a permanent position based partly at home and partly at your local Salvation Army office. You will be expected to travel within Yorkshire to local Salvation Army sites throughout the week.
