Main Tasks and Responsibilities;

Working within the team  

· To ensure the professional and organisational requirements are respected and met during the delivery of advice.

· To assist the senior colleagues and Operations Manager in order to drive efficiency, quality, systems improvement and target achievement. 

 Casework and advice  

· To offer advice, advocacy and support to service users with various aspects related to their welfare as requested by the management of RMC and funders’ requirements.

· To maintain confidentiality in all dealings with service users and ensure their needs are met in a satisfactory and sensitive manner. 

· To provide appropriate support and mentoring to any volunteers under supervision. 

· To represent RMC at external meetings and events when required by the senior colleagues.

· To maintain effective working relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Flexibility

In order to deliver the stated aims of for this post, a degree of flexibility is needed and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above, such duties will fall within the scope of the job and be directly related within the appropriate pay grade. Purpose of job:

As Senior Fundraising Strategist you’ll play an integral role in defining the fundraising strategies for cross organisational campaigns and targeted fundraising and engagement activities.  Working as a senior fundraising strategist within our Campaign Strategy & Planning team, you’ll direct cross-disciplinary project teams from across all levels of the business to deliver target beating initiatives from Red Nose Day to new product development initiatives that drive new revenue streams.  You’ll help establish data and insight led planning processes, ensuring strategies are well informed and robust.  You’ll ensure test and learn is embedded in any project and that rigorous analysis is built into measurement and evaluation processes.

Key responsibilities:

· Work with the Head of Campaign Strategy & Planning and key colleagues across the Fundraising team, to support the development of annual fundraising and engagement plans, establishing planning; monitoring and evaluation processes for agreed activities, specifically but not limited to organisational campaigns and new income driving initiatives.

· Directly lead agreed cross-organisational multi-disciplinary project teams to robustly plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate agreed campaigns and projects.

· Support the Head of Campaign Strategy & Planning to roll out an agreed fundraising planning process, ensuring campaigns and project strategies are developed using internal and external knowledge, data and insight; are planned in good time to deliver maximum impact and are responsive to audience and market requirements and trends.

· Support Head of Campaign Strategy and Planning to embed new ways of working within team and across Comic Relief, working with the core campaign planning team, the wider fundraising team and colleagues particularly in Production and Funding to continually improve processes 

· Inspire and facilitate creative and innovative thinking and action, working with colleagues, including our Fundraising Innovation Lead, to ensure our fundraising campaigns and projects represent our disruptor brand and speak to new external innovations appropriate to target audience segments

· Devise and / or make use of a suite of data and insight tracking and reporting tools that are leveraged to drive optimisation and efficiency as well as informing new approaches to maximise supporter acquisition, development and retention and associated income opportunities

· Work closely with audience teams and activity owners to measure performance and to assess and communicate the results of campaigns and projects including retrospectives to aid continuous improvement.

· Working with the Creative Fundraising Strategy Lead, support the roll out of training and ongoing development of best practice planning and strategic development approaches.

· Deliver ad-hoc planning and strategy projects as required

Essential criteria

· A working understanding of fundraising, having recently devised and implemented successful fundraising strategies and initiatives 

· Experience of analysing data and insights to inform decision making; with proven abilities in financial modelling and interpretation of data and insight into actionable plans and initiatives

· Knowledge of segmentation and audience targeting strategies, including experience of using audience listening and audience targeting tools and services to define an audience first approach to planning initiatives

· Experience of planning; monitoring and evaluating major campaigns or projects, incl financial modelling, objective and KPI setting and preparing relevant documentation that underpins the delivery of activities

· Experience of working as part of project teams, taking the lead where appropriate

· Knowledge of fundraising and project management methodologies and experience of working with different approaches to project planning and delivery

· Experience of monitoring and evaluation of programme performance, including objective setting, developing toolkits, reporting and driving the learning process with stakeholders to achieve ongoing effectiveness 

· Ability to understand risks, issues and dependencies within a project / campaign and to synthesise this information to provide accurate and timely advice to drive decision making

However, if you do not hold these qualifications you will need to undergo a chair-based exercise qualification and blood pressure training. Applicants need to be willing to undergo this training. They also need to have the confidence and enthusiasm to deliver exercise to groups of older people whilst motivating participants that may have a variety of physical and cognitive challenges. Specific Duties:

• Conducting direct work with clients, utilising sensitive listening and questioning skills to understand their situations and assist in setting priorities.
• Providing practical help, advice, and emotional support to enable clients to navigate their options, including safety planning and risk assessment.
• Encouraging clients to access relevant services such as legal aid, financial assistance, housing, and medical treatment through appropriate referrals.

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is the home of the Chelsea Pensioners (known as In-Pensioners). The Tenancy & Contributions Officer will lead on the delivery and continuing evolution of the tenancy agreement (known as the In-Pensioner Agreement). Part of the delivery of the agreement will be coordinating the process of setting and reviewing In-Pensioner’s personal financial contribution to the Royal Hospital. The role also requires the individual to support with benefit applications as required, as well as undertake other housing management related tasks on behalf of the organisation.

In addition, the role is also a core component of the recruitment process for new In-Pensioners being the point of first appeal should a candidate be unsuccessful in their application to join. The role is complex, but we have a vibrant multidisciplinary team that is there to help. This role will add tremendous additional value to how we develop and deliver our services.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles.  The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training.  You will be responsible for supporting them through every stage of their journey, enabling participants to address their barriers and realise their aspirations.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SLT

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time (21-28 hours per week). Additional hours may sometime be required, particularly for Trustee meetings, and can be taken as Time Off In Lieu.

The Executive Assistant (EA) to the SLT will facilitate all the charity’s governance requirements. Activities will primarily focus on Trustee meetings, Committees and Management team meetings, but will include policy administration and all other aspects of corporate governance and company secretariat. The post will also form part of newly-formed HR function within the charity.

The EA to the SLT will be a key role in giving the charity the capacity and expertise it needs to grow in a well-governed and responsible yet ambitious way.

For Age UK Westminster, the Befriending Service is one of its most important services tackling loneliness and isolation for older people in our community. This role would suit anyone who would like to play a key part in further developing a well-established service that makes a real difference to its community.

Excellent people skills, a strong initiative, and effective communications are required for this role, including an ability to build relationships with clients and volunteers, and undertake matching in an astute and sensitive manner. While supported by the Wellbeing & Connections Coordinator, the ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated and enjoy a certain amount of autonomy.

The role will demand a division of time between the office, and out in the community completing home assessments and matching visits. The position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references.

CENTRE ADMINISTRATOR

The Centre Administrator role at the Vassall Centre in our Oldbury Court Hub is a pivotal role in the provision of warm welcome and effective administration for our tenants, customers and community users. The postholder will be the face of the charity at the site and will lead on the provision of a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all users of the Vassall Centre site.

We need an experienced fundraiser who can research and apply for funding for our projects from a wide range of sources including: grants, s106 developer contributions, sponsorship and corporate volunteering. We have a diverse range of projects to deliver from new play equipment to support for community projects, regeneration schemes and more. 

35 hours per week (The hub will be open till 7pm Tues- Fri and Saturdays. You will be expected to be part of a rota covering these times.)

Cranstoun is a social justice and harm reduction charity empowering people to empower change. We offer a wide range of services across England within drug and alcohol, domestic abuse, children and young people’s services, criminal justice and housing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the children and young people’s team for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to be part of shaping and delivering a new early support youth hub pilot within Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley. The hub will support people aged 13+ and those who feel they still require a young people’s approach up to 25. It brings together the specialisms of Cranstoun, complimented by wider partnership delivery and lead areas of responsibility.

We have three positions, each to have a lead theme area, including relationships, youth engagement and emotional health and wellbeing. As this is a pilot, these lead themes may change and develop depending upon the needs of young people and the service. (Please state your preference during your application).

You will be the first point of contact within the youth hub, providing initial information, advice and guidance and facilitating connections to other support or specialist services. You will be expected to provide a range of planned engagement activities/clubs and undertake wellbeing coaching for those who need help. There will be an element of promotion and outreach within local schools and colleges to encourage young people to attend.

This early support youth hub will play a crucial role in providing: -  

· Accessible open access information, advice and guidance.

· Tailored emotional and practical support that is trauma informed.

· Timetable of access for partner agencies including sexual health, substance use, mental health.

· Promoting positive well-being through themed events and clubs.

· Preventing escalation including wellbeing coaching to those who access the hub that may need short term goals focused support.

 It will serve as an easy to access, youth friendly space, which will allow young people to get help at the earliest opportunity.

We are looking for a team that brings high energy and enthusiasm with the ability to inspire, building rapport to develop trusted relationships within an informal setting. You will have a unique opportunity to make a real difference by engaging and intervening early and preventing escalation.
