Our client has been up and running since 2011. At that time, 150 areas were chosen to become a part of the scheme, each receiving £1m to be used by 2026, to invest in the area and community to help make it a better place to live and work, as the community decided. Areas were chosen because they were recognised as localities of need that had missed out on funding over many years. What makes them different to many other community programmes is that all decisions on how to invest this money are made directly by local people.
Purpose of the role:
To develop and deliver an integrated and effective programme of work in Aberfeldy, in line with the mission, vision and strategic plan developed by the our clients Resident Board, specifically:
• Further develop understanding of what activities, support and opportunities people in Aberfeldy see as important for their health and wellbeing.
• Further develop the ABL service to ensure it responds to what matters to the local community, working with members of the community to co-design, develop, deliver, commission and review resident-led activities and initiatives both in the ABL space and other local community venues.
• Develop the ABL space to be a place that fully lives up to the ambition of it being somewhere for people to go and feel welcome and comfortable, a space to which people will want to return and be a part of – a space for the community.
• Motivate, inspire, and lead the ABL team, volunteers, and sessional workers to deliver the service.
• Expand the reach of ABL and ensure members of the local community are aware of it, what’s its purpose is and what it offers.
• Manage the operational delivery of the service, including planning, scheduling, financial management, reporting.
• Pro-actively link in with the various colleagues at their Centre, including the Delivery Manager (line manager), colleagues in their Welcome Hub, the Impact team, the Income and Marketing team, the Finance team, and the Facilities and - IT team to optimise, share learning and obtain support.
• Manage the relationship with the ABL Residents Board, keeping them informed on a regular basis on progress, challenges, developments; support them to make decisions as and when required and make required adjustments to the plan as and when.
• Further develop relationships with relevant stakeholders, including, amongst others, other local community venues, other local delivery organisations, housing associations, faith groups, health professionals.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring the team is engaged in the implementation and analysis of their outcomes framework.
• Demonstrate the value of ABL and share its learning and expertise with external audiences. This will involve working closely with the ABL board, the Local Trust Team, the wider team as well as other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop plans for the legacy of ABL beyond the funding.

About this key role

We are hiring a Mental Health Floating Support Coordinator to support our Luton Service which delivers support to individuals living within the community who have support needs pertaining to their mental health and wellbeing. The service works alongside statutory services, with the aim of moving people on to independent living within two years. We are looking to recruit two additional project officers mainly to help deliver our Live Love Later Life and Healthsmart services whilst providing organisational and administrative support to help these run smoothly.
An exercise qualification and experience of delivering health checks are highly desirable. However, if you do not hold these qualifications you will need to undergo a chair-based exercise qualification and blood pressure training. Applicants need to be willing to undergo this training. Prospectus is delighted to be collaborating with a non profit environmental think tank, developing research and analysis related to ecological limits, to recruit for an Interim Head of Communications on a 6 month contract. This role can be based in London or predominantly remotely, with an expectation for some regular in-person engagement at their London office (preference for 2 days per week in the office but some flexibility with this). Ideal start date mid-June, with a potential for this role to become permanent after the 6 months. This is a full time role but would also consider part time candidates (minimum 3 days per week).
This department operates with a largely outsourced model - this is a stand alone role with no internal team to manage (just external agencies). The Interim Head will be responsible for strategic communications and ensuring messages are delivered to key audiences, monitoring emerging trends and driving brand awareness. You will work with programmes to create programme specific communications and media plans and be responsible for crisis management. You will also support events and oversee design and production, and ensure strong internal communications.
The successful candidate will have broad communications experience with a good understanding of media, PR and with good agency management expertise. As this is a stand alone position you will have experience of overseeing both the strategic and operational aspects of the role, using external agencies when required. You will ideally have some experience working in a not for profit research organisation that publishes reports using data, or with suitable experience within the financial industry, as well as a passion for sustainability.

The Programme Administrator is a fast-paced, varied, and exciting role where you will play a key role supporting the IBAHRI Director and five IBAHRI Programme Lawyers and provide logistical, administrative, and financial support to IBAHRI projects worldwide.
The Programme Administrator will organise the practical arrangements for project events and activities, as well as book and co-ordinate all project travel arrangements. The postholder will also play an important role in budget management and ensuring all financial tasks are completed for the projects, as well as provide general IBAHRI logistical and administrative support. To be successful, you will have demonstratable experience in administration, specifically travel, financial, and event administration. You will have strong organisational skills and eye for detail when it comes to completing tasks. In addition to this, you will have strong IT literacy skills and experience using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
You will have excellent communication skills and experience dealing with high level external stakeholders. You will have experience working within a team and be able to work on your own initiative. You will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, often on multiple issues simultaneously. You will also have experience working in varied contexts and/or with sensitive issues/information, exercising good judgement and discretion, and across different cultures, languages, and currencies. You will have the ability to work across time zones and out of hours, when required, and occasional travel abroad to support in-country activities, when required.

Press and Media Relations Officer
The Press and Media Relations Officer represents the work of SCIE, acting as the point of contact for members of the press and other media representatives. The post holder is responsible for maintaining the profile and reputation of the charity and helping to achieve our influencing objectives with policymakers and leaders in the social care sector. Responsibilities include disseminating information to members of the press and other media to raise awareness of SCIE’s policy positions, research findings and improvement programmes. The post holder will help shape and deliver media influencing plans that support SCIE’s influencing objectives and use a variety of channels to achieve these objectives, including both traditional and social media.

We are looking for a Community Fundraiser with a proven track record of achieving ambitious community fundraising targets. You will be an excellent communicator and an energetic self-starter. You are comfortable with working independently, but ready to utilise the support of colleagues across the Fund. You are perceptive and versatile and will have the ability to translate our story into rich content and compelling scenarios inspiring people to work with us. Above all, you naturally build rapport to quickly establish relationships and develop innovative partnerships.
You will equally be as comfortable supporting members of the RAF family who want to fundraise, as you will presenting to a room full of students, a company or potential volunteers. No one day will be the same and you will be the local face and voice of the Fund on the ground. You will quickly build your understanding of the key influencers in your community and you will ensure they understand what we do so they will want to be associated with the charity. You will be responsible for raising income through existing networks of supporters, volunteers and building new relationships within the RAF, community groups and local business.
As an experienced fundraiser, you will also be responsible to the Team Leader for promoting team as well as individual success.

The role is primarily community based in the South of England with a focus on London and the South-East. There will be a requirement to travel around a strategically chosen geographical area and occasional overnight stays, as well as working evenings and weekends at events when required. About the role
The Welfare Scheme Assessor will be a part of a small, but committed team with big ambitions that works cohesively and effectively together to get things done.
You’ll be an important and valued member of the team and, with the support of North Lincolnshire Citizens Advice, will be responsible for ensuring client focused outcomes are met in a pressurised environment.
You’ll be the first point of contact for residents applying for support from the welfare assistance scheme. You’ll offer applicants a holistic assessment designed to maximise household income, reduce expenditure and build greater financial wellbeing.
You’ll enable people to move as quickly as possible to problem resolution and to manage their essential needs so they are less likely to fall into debt and manage cost of living increases.
You’ll be responsible for making decisions on applications for financially based welfare support and will administer funds to households who would otherwise struggle to buy food or pay essential utility bills or meet other essential living costs.
You’ll enable people to take control of their financial wellbeing and signpost them to local statutory services and community groups that provide practical, social and emotional support.

The post is to start as soon as possible and is a full-time (35 hours per week), ongoing role. The post will be 5-days on site Monday-Friday, based in Chelsea & Farringdon.
