An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital Chelsea where we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the Chelsea Pensioners Veterans’ Outreach (CPVO ) team in a new role as a Veterans’ Outreach Officer.
The CPVO programme is aimed at extending an offer to older service veterans, inviting them to engage with our In Pensioners and enjoy the sense of community and comradeship that is at the heart of the Chelsea Pensioner community. While most of our programme activity is centred on the Royal Hospital Chelsea estate in London, the programme seeks to expand in reach to other UK regions where there is a sizeable veteran population who might benefit from engagement with our team of Chelsea Pensioners, staff and volunteers. There are also plans to develop a digital offer.
The Veterans’ Outreach Officer will support the Head of Veterans’ Outreach in developing and managing the programme of activities encouraging engagement and social interaction between Chelsea Pensioners and other service veterans thereby helping to alleviate the social isolation and loneliness felt by many older veterans. Responsibilities will include promoting the programme within veterans' networks and finding innovative ways to connect with veterans; the management of themed events both at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and further afield as we seek to expand nationwide. The role also involves significant data collection and analysis to inform the strategy, evaluate delivery, and identify fundraising opportunities.

Job Summary
The Haringey Community Collaborative Manager is responsible for leading the development of the VCS Capacity Building strategy and the effective co-ordination of the Community Collaborative team which includes a Communications and Engagement Officer, a Workplace Development Manager, and a Capacity Building Manager.
We envisage the Haringey Community Collaborative Manager performing at either a primarily operational level or, for a more experienced candidate, at both operational and strategic levels. The Tenancy & Contributions Officer will lead on the delivery and continuing evolution of the tenancy agreement (known as the In-Pensioner Agreement). Part of the delivery of the agreement will be coordinating the process of setting and reviewing In-Pensioner’s personal financial contribution to the Royal Hospital. The role also requires the individual to support with benefit applications as required, as well as undertake other housing management related tasks on behalf of the organisation.
In addition, the role is also a core component of the recruitment process for new In-Pensioners being the point of first appeal should a candidate be unsuccessful in their application to join. The role is complex, but we have a vibrant multidisciplinary team that is there to help. This role will add tremendous additional value to how we develop and deliver our services.
Working closely with colleagues and partner organisations, the individual appointed will be required to have strong administrative and analytical skills as well as demonstrable customer care and communication skills that enable them to build effective working relationships with In-Pensioners, colleagues and other stakeholder alike.

About Unlocked
Unlocked Graduates exists to break cycles of reoffending, with particular focus on breaking the link between disadvantage and reoffending. Currently prison is not a place which successfully does this: the average prisoner has 16 previous convictions and 48 percent of prisoners reoffend within a year of release. Unlocked Graduates exists to fix this problem. Our mission is to break cycles of re-offending by developing outstanding individuals to lead rehabilitation in prisons and throughout society.
The role
Interns are an invaluable part of our Programme team, which sits at the heart of the design and delivery of the Unlocked Graduates programme. The key project deliverable for this role is Summer Institute (SI), a 6-week training programme for our new cohort of prison officers. The successful candidates will work with the team in Leeds to deliver SI, gaining broad experience in event coordination and project management. You will have the opportunity to get involved with a huge range of activities over the summer that will help train and develop exceptional prison officers.
For July and August the role will mainly be based at Leeds Trinity University, during which time your work pattern may vary and time off in lieu will be agreed in advance for extended work days or weekend work. Accommodation will be provided for this period and you will be able to expense travel on weekends to return home.
Key accountabilities
SI preparation
- Supporting the delivery team with final planning preparations for SI
- Supporting the set-up of the training spaces in Leeds, including organisation of training equipment and materials
- Managing relationships and liaising with suppliers to confirm final details for SI
During SI
- Supporting day-to-day logistics of SI ensuring training runs smoothly, including management of session equipment and paperwork, recording of sessions, etc.
- Co-ordination, delivery and organisation of resources and training materials
- Supporting the Programme Team to track and manage participant absences and written feedback, escalating to senior staff when necessary

The role
MIND in Haringey and its partner Public Voice delivers the Voluntary and Community (VCS) Capacity Building contract commissioned by the London Borough of Haringey. We are St Paul’s Centre and we’re a charity based in Crewe, Cheshire, and we’re looking for an experienced support worker to join our well-established Futures team, on a part-time basis working (6-15 hours each week) potentially on Mondays and Wednesdays, with opportunities for additional cover.

The role will support the organisation with with social media management, content creation, campaign support, community management, evaluation, and team coordination
Key responsibilities:
- Develop platform-specific content, including TikTok videos, member stories, and explanatory content on the Charities purpose
- Assist in community management on social media platforms, including responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers
- Assist regions, branches, and activists with social media campaign distribution, media library administration, and content creation
- Produce regular social media reports to assess member engagement and content performance
- Manage the organisation team on Canva, consisting of regional, service group, and staff comms, to ensure consistency and quality in visual assets
- Work with all teams within the Communications unit and Press team to design and produce engaging social media content and assets
- Provide temporary staff cover for digital roles as required
Successful candidate profile:
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation, including video editing.
- Creative skills and initiative to generate new social content
- Experience in repurposing press releases and editorial content for social media
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools for team coordination and visual asset creation.

CST Client Advisor
Role:
As a CST Client Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients transitioning from military to civilian life by providing tracking, referral, and job matching services. Working closely with the CST team, you will offer advice and guidance to both clients and employers, utilising ADAPT and the CTP jobs board (RightJob). This role requires a dedicated individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for supporting others.
Reporting to the CST Team Leader and Support Centre Manager, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our office through your dedication and customer service skills.
This role offers flexible working hours, including options for full-time or part-time (minimum of 3 days or 21 hours) employment, and is open to job share arrangements with a salary of £22,000 pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of clients through telephone and email tracking, adhering to CTP CCMP and relevant working instructions.
- Refer clients to appropriate resources such as Employment Advisors, Specialist Employment Consultants, or Career Consultants, in alignment with CTP CCMPs.
- Provide responsive helpdesk support to employers and service leavers requiring assistance with CTP online services.
- Accurately record all interactions with clients and employers on the CTP ADAPT BMS.
- Track client outcomes post-discharge and record successful "Settled" outcomes as per CST CCMP.
- Encourage employers to utilize the Right Job registration and vacancy posting process.
- Assist in promoting CTP services to service leavers and employers.
- Provide cover for other team members during absences or holidays.

Person Specification:
Essential Competencies:
- NVQ Advice and Guidance (Level 3) or equivalent.
- Experience in guiding, advising, and supporting individuals.
- Self-motivated team player dedicated to achieving successful outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a personable manner and strong telephone technique.
- Proficient in IT and keyboard skills.
- Experience in business administration, including database and customer relation management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
Desirable Competences:
- Empathy with the challenges faced by Armed Forces personnel in civilian employment.
- Understanding or interest in the employment market and recruitment.
- Experience in marketing, promotion, or customer liaison.
- NVQ Advice and Guidance (Level 4) or higher.
Security Clearance:
- Successful candidates must undergo Ministry of Defence security clearance, requiring residency in the UK for over 5 years.
