We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to engage key partners and stakeholders in the region tailoring support, training and education to create suicide safer communities.
In this role you will:
· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.
· Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.
· Equip a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.
· Deliver training and awareness raising products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.
· Contribute to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.
· Contribute to and promote campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans.
· Represent the charity at events including conferences, panels, working groups and through media channels as required.
· Record, monitor and report on data to evaluate our projects and demonstrate impact.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities
· A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience
· Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience
· Experience of using own initiative and creativity to develop a project, programme or area of work
· The ability to travel to different locations across Southampton and the South of England to attend meetings, events and deliver training.
Salary: £29,269 per annum (SCP 18) progressing by increments to £32,076 per annum (SCP 23).

BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant- makers. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Donor Engagement UK, the Development Officer’s role is to provide back-end support to the UK fundraisers supporting the moves management process and smooth running of the virtual office, ensuring compliance with UK laws. Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Manages virtual offices and membership programme payment processing in collaboration with our data services team based in the US.

Who we are looking for
Our Communications Services team is seeking a talented Communications Officer, Social Media and Digital, with a background in sustainable development, science or health communications. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree.
You will need to be creative with the ability to produce social media campaigns, digital content and videos, and lead the development of engaging websites to tell our clients’ stories. What you will do

Your role will include:

- Content creation: you will create social media content and assets, graphics, videos and animations. You will also develop design templates and mock-ups, format presentations and Microsoft Word documents, produce event materials and make website updates.

Working at Scriptoria

Resolve Poverty is seeking a Network Development Coordinator to establish a cross-sectoral community of Lancashire (by which we mean Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) based stakeholder organisations. Working with this community, the Network Development Coordinator will identify opportunities to strengthen anti-poverty activities across the region that align with Resolve Poverty’s strategic priorities to:
- Maximise the financial resources available to households
- Implement effective strategic responses to poverty
- Equip stakeholders with the knowledge they need to tackle poverty.
This exciting new role, funded by the National Lottery, will enable you to harness the work of Resolve Poverty so that we can have impact. You will join a dedicated and growing team working to maximise the impact of local responses to poverty in order to resolve poverty nationally.
Title: Network Development Coordinator (Lancashire)
Location: Combination of homeworking and office based. There is an expectation that you will work one day a week from our offices in central Manchester and that you will travel extensively across Lancashire in order to deliver this role.
Hours: 5 days per week (35 hours). Shorter working hours will be considered for the right candidate.
Contract: 36 months.
Probationary period: 4 months.

Healthy rivers are essential for people and nature but they are on the brink of collapse, under threat from pollution, climate change, habitat loss and water scarcity. Tackling these issues requires holistic understanding and effective partnership working.
We are seeking a Catchment Officer, to lead our work in two catchments across our area. You will be our primary representative in your focal catchments, and will be responsible for leading and chairing the local Catchment Partnerships. Through your Catchment Partnership work, you will develop a deep local knowledge of your rivers and their stakeholders, which you will leverage to develop programs of data and evidence gathering that will help to understand the issues impacting river health in the catchments. Based on this knowledge, you will work with partners to develop catchment plans and co-design solutions and mitigation projects that will provide multiple benefits and make a real difference to river health.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a level of scientific and/or technical expertise, for example in land management, wetland design, aquatic biodiversity, habitat enhancement, nature-based solutions, biodiversity net gain, natural flood management, fisheries science, water resources, or water quality. You will bring this expertise to our Catchment Partnerships and share it across the whole of our organisation.
The role will suit a natural leader and good communicator with relevant technical knowledge who is personable and diplomatic with a passion for the water environment and its improvement.
