About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving, youth focused, charity and to play a vital role in securing income to support our youth activities – working with Trusts and Foundations predominantly, but with the opportunity to also build relationships with statutory funders and, in future, major donors.

We are looking for a proactive, organised individual to join Young Enterprise as part of our impactful and collaborative National Fundraising team. YE’s supportive yet driven environment places personal development at its core, to ensure team members thrive. 

Working with the Senior Relationship Manager and the Philanthropy Team, you will contribute to an annual budget of £4.2m and raise income from Trusts and Foundations and small statutory income streams, utilising your income generating and communication skills. You will also undertake prospect research, as well as developing compelling project updates and reports to inspire supporters.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and happy working remotely but never alone—you’ll be part of a close-knit team
• A strong team player with the ability to balance and prioritise competing demands in a busy team, you will have excellent organisational skills.
• You’ll be proactive and innovative in your approach to prospecting for new supporters, qualifying them, and building a pipeline. 

Key Responsibilities

• Income generation - to achieve or exceed agreed income targets, with a focus on securing donations from Trust and Foundations 
• Grant management - working with internal colleagues to track funded projects’ progress against targets and taking action to course correct when necessary. Produce timely, engaging, and accessible project reports to inspire and build donor relationships
• Prospecting - research and qualify a pipeline of Trusts and Foundations and small statutory opportunities to progress and secure financial support for YE.
• Administration - effective administration across YE systems and platforms
• Donor stewardship - some travel required to support YE activities with young people in schools, donor visits to projects

A few practical things

• This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from a YE office (London or Oxford) at least 8 times per month
• The role will involve travel to events, typically at schools, which take place during term time, however some evening working may also be required.

About the role:

This is a chance to stand alongside women experiencing multiple disadvantage such as violence against women and girls (VAWG), mental health challenges, substance misuse, offending behaviour, and physical health barriers. It is a chance to be part of the journey where safety, choice and confidence begin to return. In our Camden women’s accommodation service, you’ll build trusting relationships through gender and trauma informed support, working collaboratively with each woman to shape a pathway that reflects her strengths, priorities and hopes for the future. You’ll work closely with specialist partners and engage in multi-agency forums like MARAC to help reduce harm and create space for recovery, stability and new beginnings.

Each day will look different. You may be supporting someone to reconnect with education or work, linking a client into mental health or substance use services, arranging access to healthcare or encouraging involvement in meaningful activities that rebuild identity and community. Through one-to-one support, group sessions and practical life skills development, you’ll help women sustain their accommodation, strengthen wellbeing and expand their networks and independence.

Community Engagement Coordinator – North Region, England

Location: This post is home-based, working within BookTrust’s Northern England region, which covers the North West, North East, and Yorkshire & the Humber. The role requires flexibility and travel across the region and to other BookTrust offices in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. Through trust, persistence and creativity, you’ll help them access and sustain safe accommodation, reconnect with essential services, and take meaningful steps towards lasting independence.

You’ll build strong, consistent relationships that inspire confidence and hope, supporting clients to access healthcare, develop life skills, explore work and training opportunities, and strengthen their sense of belonging in the community. Single Homeless Project (SHP) and Islington Council are proud to introduce St. John’s Mansions - a brand-new, purpose-built accommodation service that will provide safe, high-quality housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and facing multiple exclusion. This innovative project is backed by the GLA’s Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP) 2022–2025, and represents a bold step forward in tackling homelessness across North London. SHP are building a dynamic, compassionate, and forward-thinking team to bring this vision to life. 

St. John’s Mansions will offer 19 beautifully finished self-contained studio flats, designed to support residents in their journey from rough sleeping and emergency accommodation to independent living. With a stay of up to 24 months, residents will receive tailored, high-intensity support to help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive independently. 

The service will operate 24/7, with a welcoming reception and dedicated staff & clients spaces to enable both structured interventions and spontaneous, meaningful engagement. SHP will be working not only within Islington but in partnership with five North London boroughs - Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Westminster. This is more than just housing – it is a bridge to a better future. In this role, you’ll work closely with adults living in our accommodation, building trusting relationships and supporting them to take positive steps towards independence. Oaklands & St Kilda's is made up of two newly refurbished six-bedroom homes, located close to each other in Ealing, West London. We work with up to 12 young people at a time, providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. Many of the young people joining us are moving on from hospital, stepping down from more intensive placements, or transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.

We deliver 24-hour trauma-informed and psychologically informed support. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will take a lead role in supporting young people with more complex mental health presentations - using advanced judgement to identify changes in presentation, contribute to risk planning, and confidently engage with clinical professionals to ensure the right interventions are in place.

If you have strong experience in mental health support, are confident working with complexity, and are passionate about empowering young people to move forward positively in life, we would love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a more advanced, professionally influential role within a trauma-informed, recovery-focused environment.

The Specialist Support Worker role involves early shifts (7:30 - 15:30/8:00 - 16:00) and late shifts (14:00 - 22:00) throughout the week, including some weekends each month.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

Significant experience supporting young people or adults with complex mental health needs, ideally in hospital discharge, step-down or supported accommodation settings.

Strong understanding of risk assessment, safety planning and safeguarding, with confidence to escalate concerns appropriately.

Proven ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and remain calm in high-pressure or crisis situations.

Confident in supporting young people to develop daily living skills, independence and community integration.

Provide administrative and coordination support to the Family Wellbeing Service that support families across Surrey with wellbeing and mental health literacy as well as specific EBSNA and ND support. Work proactively, use their own initiative and work unsupported to achieve tasks. The administrator will provide administrative support to a service that is currently in development, with plans to grow over 4 years, with 8 practitioners as well as liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of this service

Responsibilities

• Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office suite, mail chimp, poll daddy and Survey Monkey
• Answering telephone and email queries from partner organisations, external agencies and parents/carers
• Contacting families via the telephone and email, that are referred to Eikon Family Wellbeing Service
• Production and creation of letters, correspondence, leaflets, newsletters and supporting the production of website content
• General administration work including filing, archiving, retrieving information and documents
• Provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated
• Set up and maintain excel spreadsheet that tracks and monitors status of all cases referred to the service
• Support the Service Delivery Manager in the maintenance and monitoring of the service tracker
• Create and maintain processes for receiving service feedback and monitoring and reporting service impact data
• Be responsible for entering Direct Referrals and Mindworks referrals on to organisation database along with any corresponding case allocation administration
• On-boarding of new referrals ensuring are contacted within the agreed contract guidelines.  Once initial calls are completed, to ensure these are moved to the correct service pathway
• Monitor the return of consent and registration forms
• Carry out administrative tasks associated with follow-up on all missed sessions, cancellations, queries and case closures
• Create, maintain and monitor a booking system for individual, group and online sessions and all corresponding tasks e.g. room booking, calendar updates and sending meeting links/information to recipients
• Create and support the monitoring of wait lists for the various services and subsequent case allocation to practitioners
• Carry out ‘check in’ communications with families on our waiting list and escalate any new concerns to appropriate staff
• Record all communications with families and professionals related to specific cases on Evide
• Create, maintain and monitor attendance lists for any groups
• Ensure all data and information is uploaded onto all relevant databases
• To organise the administration of all group work delivered by the Family Wellbeing team, in both schools and community settings
• To support Service Delivery Manager with the review of wait list and active cases with practitioners to ensure all sessions and meetings have been planned in and appropriate actions taken and recorded
• To support the Service Delivery Manager in identifying where administrative improvements and efficiencies can be made
• Support the Family Wellbeing team with administration relating to their work with CYPF record keeping
• Monitoring general phone calls and email enquiries, ensuring these get forward to the correct recipient

• Understand and act when safeguarding issues need to be escalated
• Work within Eikon’s internal policies, safeguarding and data protection regulations
• Work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in 1:1
• Work co-operatively and under the management of The Eikon Charity staff to ensure the highest quality of delivery and support

We’re looking to grow our delivery team with a brand new role that is responsible for processing the referrals we receive for the Settle Programme as well as holding assessment meetings as and when necessary. The successful candidate will also be a Senior Settle Coach holding a reduced caseload and using their frontline skills to work one-to-one with care-experienced young people across London.

For this role, we anticipate that you will spend 50-60% of your time processing and responding to referrals, including taking further steps to assess the needs of the young person who has been referred. To do this you’ll work closely with our Programme Management team, Business Development team and referral partners to ensure that we have all the necessary information to deal safely and appropriately with referrals. As this is a new role to the organisation, there will be scope to shape and influence the way this work is managed alongside your manager and our Chief Operating Officer.

We then anticipate you will spend the remaining 40-50% of your time as a Senior Settle Coach, working on the frontline, delivering one-to-one sessions with care-experienced young people across London. You’ll work closely with our partners to ensure the smooth delivery of our contracts and with the Programme Management team and Senior Partnerships Manager to support reporting on outcomes and regular partnership meetings.

You will report into a manager within the Programme Management team.

Candidates with experience of assessing and managing risk are encouraged to apply. Essential requirements include the ability to hold multiple perspectives alongside each other, ability to approach risk and need from a curious perspective, comfort and ability to escalate concerns as well as strong people skills. We are looking to recruit 2 Family Services Outreach Practitioners to provide intensive support for families with children living in temporary accommodation (TA) in London, ensuring their stay in TA is as short, safe, and healthy as possible. These are new and exciting roles in our Family Services team that will build genuine, positive, and trusting relationships with families, through both 1-1 work with parents and whole-family activities that will build togetherness and resilience. You will also conduct in-depth assessments with families referred to the project, identifying areas where parents and children need support and then helping them to feel confident, settled, and supported in their local community – e.g., by researching local resources and amenities, accompanying families to activities, and supporting them to become more independent. Additionally, you will assist the Team Leader and Evaluation and Learning Manager with the project’s co-production work, including supporting the management of an advisory panel of parents with lived experience of homelessness who will be co-designing interventions.

The main duties of the role
