About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s response to street homelessness, the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre at 165 King’s Cross Road offers people a safe, supportive place to begin their journey away from the streets. With 16 beds and a short-stay model focused on planned moves within 28 days, this service is about momentum, opportunity and change. As a Project Worker, you’ll play a central role in helping people take their next steps towards secure and sustainable housing.

Working in a psychologically informed and trauma-aware environment, you’ll lead a caseload and carry out meaningful assessments that place each person’s experiences, strengths and goals at the centre. You’ll develop personalised support plans, respond thoughtfully to complex situations, and offer practical, hands-on support - from daily living tasks and wellbeing, to housing pathways, training and employment opportunities. You’ll work closely with partners including Connect Forward, In Roads and Camden Routes off the Streets to deliver joined-up, holistic support that makes a real difference.

The Spear Programme is delivered in Spear North Kensington which offers young people professionally recognised coaching, for free, to support them into sustainable work or education. They leave Spear equipped to thrive in work and life.

Role Responsibilities

Delivery of the Spear Programme – Group and 1:1 coaching

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
• Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Delivery of Spear Career

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.

Training the Assistant Coach

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.

Trainee Recruitment 

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

Person Specification

• An active Christian, dedicated to representing the values and ethos of Spear and HTB St Francis Community Church.
• You have demonstrable experience as a coach, or a background in youth work or teaching, and are keen to develop these skills further.
• You have a heart for young people and releasing their potential, no matter what challenging circumstances they are facing.
• Effective interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence with a sense of humour and fun.
• You are great at building relationships, with solid communication skills.
• Good administrative and organisational skills, working well under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload.

Night Recovery Worker

About the Role

We're hiring a Night Recovery Worker to join our team in Bedfordshire and help deliver our new mental health step down service, opening in April 2026. This is an 11 bedded, community based mental health crisis and step down service offering short stay, trauma informed support and psychologically informed alternative to hospital admission and facilities, forming part of the wider Urgent and Emergency Care pathway.

The service supports people at risk of admission who can be safely supported in the community, helping them overcome personal barriers, achieve their goals and access a range of opportunities, including education, community involvement and skill development. In this role, you will provide person centred, psychologically informed support, contribute to rehabilitation and reintegration and ensure the safe and effective running of the night service. You will play a vital role in admission avoidance, flow and discharge, supporting residents to rebuild their lives while maintaining quality, consistency, and contractual outcomes within a trauma and psychologically informed environment.

Some key responsibilities include: 

• Being the main point of contact for our residents, helping to create and update their support and risk plans; Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times
• Work collaboratively with external teams such as crisis resolution teams, community mental health teams, Inpatient Wards, and other crisis alternatives e.g. Recovery Lounges etc. We are looking to build an effective and knowledgeable staff team to deliver this exciting provision
• Supporting with the creation of tailored support plans in collaboration with the wider team and resident.
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing during the night, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities such as movie nights, cooking evenings, and games nights
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns when needed.
• Support residents with taking their medication and keep accurate records support plans up to date. Build good working relationships with colleagues and outside agencies.

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable adults in Oxford?

We are looking for 3 people to join the St Mungo’s Rough Sleeping Service as Housing Led Workers on fixed term contracts until March 2027. (2x Full Time, and 1 Part time).

The team will work in partnership with the Oxford Rough Sleeping Service, and in partnership with local partner agencies to provide long term tenancy sustainment support to clients experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to support people to access suitable accommodation; and move-on with the right support in place.

In the role of Housing Led Worker you will work as part of a team to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service. Managing a caseload of around 15-20 clients you will:

• Provide personalised, flexible support that helps clients access the right services for their mental and physical health, substance use, community engagement, learning, training, and employment.
• Deliver intensive, ongoing support to help clients establish their home, sustain their tenancy, and work towards their personal goals and aspirations.

Allsorts' mission is to listen to, connect, and support children and young people under the age of 26 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer (LGBTQ+), or exploring their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. 

By placing children and young people’s voices at the centre of our work, we ensure that our understanding of their ongoing and evolving needs continues to inform our service provision.

There are three main strands to our service provision, all of which aim to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ children and young people.

1. About Sculpt UK 

Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. The need for our work is clear given the increasing problems young people face and their lack of confidence and awareness regarding their journey into the world of work. 

We run a range of bespoke programmes that work directly with young people in conjunction with partners - schools, careers hubs, employers, local government and further/higher education. Sculpt addresses interconnected areas that contribute towards our vision: Employability, Youth Voice and Leadership, and Community Action. We build the skills and experience of young people focusing on the transitions between school, education and work. In particular, we are skilled in tailoring our work to meet the needs of young people in alternative provision and those at risk of not being in employment, education and training.   

What we do and how we do it is also informed by the Sculpt Youth Advisory Board, consisting of young people who meet monthly to advise the Sculpt Board on matters such as the needs of young people, product design and programme impact. In addition, we have a Sculpt Alumni community who contribute to the development of our work.

1. What does the role involve? 

Sculpt UK is hiring a youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes. Approximately 75% of our work involves working with young people who have SEND or who are at risk of becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training).

Responsibilities: 

Youth Programme Officer: 

• Adhere to Sculpt UK’s safeguarding practices and procedures at all time  

• Deliver funded programmes focused on youth employability, leadership and youth voice in line with Sculpt UK’s delivery style and ethos 

• Lead on the Futures Unlocked programme delivery – working with 375 students across London on Free School Meals with SEND to run work experience days with a range of employers 

• Engage employers to deliver work experience days 

• Work with other Youth Programme Officers to successfully to deliver projects and support in data collection required for reporting 

• Use their experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly to age, need and interest 

• Run mock interviews with programme participants 

• Ensure young people complete relevant entry and exit surveys  

• Undertake relevant training associated with Sculpt UK’s work included but not restricted to child protection & safeguarding 

• Contribute toward and keep up to date with Sculpt UK’s internal / external communications platform such as slack, newsletters and social media  

• Engage with Sculpt UK’s Youth Advisory Board members when invited to do so.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience  

• Exceptional organisational and planning skills 

• Skilled at designing and facilitating workshops and working with young people who have a range of backgrounds and experiences 

• Experience working with young people in an educational or community setting 

• Ideally experience working with SEND young people 

• Confident, self-motivated and with a collaborative mindset  

• Commitment to young people and knowledge of issues affecting their lives  

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgemental space, that allows young people to speak freely 

• Able to adapt and be flexible in workshops to get the best engagement from a range of participants 

• Skilled at facilitating virtual workshops and working with a selection of online portals 

• Capable to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries with young people, peers and professionals 

Requirements  

• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing for us to undertake a check on your behalf 

• Have a recent safeguarding qualification from a recognised provider or be willing to undertake additional training in this area 

• Ability to travel - the role will require you to travel around London when delivering at schools or employers 

• Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, confidentiality, data protection and commitment to reporting concerns to an appropriate staff member

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and organised Children and Families Worker to lead and grow our ministry with children and families in the parish. This role is perfect for someone who loves helping children explore faith, has experience working with different age groups, and enjoys building relationships in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Run Children’s Church on Sundays during term-time — including leading sessions and coordinating a team of volunteers.

• Develop a new older children’s group, including volunteer recruitment and curriculum planning.

• Help lead monthly All-Age Services in collaboration with the Vicar.

• Run a monthly Bubble Church service and manage related outreach and admin.

• Co-lead Tufnell Tots (stay-and-play group) on Thursday mornings.

• Build relationships with local primary schools (Tufnell Park and Yerbury) through regular lunch clubs, assemblies, and visits.

• Support and co-run termly community events such as our Pancake Party, Fireworks Night, and Back to School Party.

• Develop creative, new initiatives — such as after-school activities or holiday clubs — to help children and families engage with faith.

• Ensure full compliance with our safeguarding policy and support safeguarding admin.

• Encourage sustainability in children’s events and teach the importance of caring for God’s creation.

• Support an inclusive approach to working with children with additional needs and disabilities, adapting content and approaches as needed.

About You

Essential:

• A living Christian faith and a desire to help children grow in their knowledge and experience of God.

• Good knowledge of the Bible and enthusiasm for sharing its stories.

• A strong understanding of safeguarding principles.

• Excellent team player who relates well to both children and adults.

• Experience in recruiting and supporting volunteers.

• Confident organisational and communication skills.

Desirable:

• A qualification in children’s ministry or a related field.

• Experience working with a range of age groups — from toddlers to pre-teens.

• First Aid certification.
