The Foundation cares for an internationally significant collection celebrating the history of print, graphic design and typography.

Our Grade II listed Victorian building also features the 130-seat Bridewell Theatre and a hands-on print workshop, and event spaces for hire. We offer a dynamic programme of workshops, events, and exhibitions, currently attracting around 42,000 visitors annually.

The role will be closely involved in projects that, under our new vision and mission, aim to transform SBF into a contemporary institute serving the creative industries, researchers and the wider public. Job Purpose

The Operations & Project Manager will oversee planning, project delivery, and commercial operations, ensuring that St Bride Foundation continues to fulfil its mission while growing its financial sustainability. This role is instrumental in managing strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and leading teams to ensure efficient operations across venue hire, theatre management, and other income-generating activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Project Management

· Develop and maintain Gantt charts, project timelines, and key performance indicators for organisational initiatives.

· Work as part of the Senior Management team to oversee and deliver key projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

· Improve internal project management processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration across teams.

· Implement long-term strategic plans aligned with the charity’s mission.

· Attend meetings and contribute expertise to project groups as applicable.

2. Operations & Commercial Oversight

· Lead the teams managing commercial areas, including venue hire, theatre, events, commercial lets, and other income-generating initiatives.

· Identify opportunities to increase revenue streams while maintaining the Foundation’s charitable objectives.

· Develop and implement policies to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and financial resilience.

3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

· Work closely with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the Foundation’s impact and income opportunities.

· Ensure strong internal communication to keep all teams aligned with project goals and operational priorities.

4. Risk, Compliance & Facilities Management

· Ensure compliance with health & safety, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.

· Oversee the stewardship of St Bride Foundation’s historic Grade II listed building, ensuring operational resilience and sustainability.

· Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and safety.

· Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and adherence to health & safety legislation.

Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of survivors of torture? Do you have experience of coordinating clinical services delivery to marginalised groups in a community setting?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Manager to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our purpose built London Centre and gardens. You will manage and coordinate a team of highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence.

You will report to the Head of Clinical Services, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our four year strategy, and work together to increase the number of clients who can access our services. It is based in a centre specifically designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for survivors and includes gardens and growing facilities.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

• To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists. This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision to clinicians in our other regional centres (North West England and Scotland).
• To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
• Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit based services.
• To formulate and negotiate psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment for a small caseload, using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service in line with the new clinical model "Pathways" (drawing on a range of evidence-based models for the presenting problems of the clients).
• Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

In return, we offer a competitive package, with a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement, and 6% employer pension contribution.

We also offer access to additional therapy training including NET and EMDR, access to high quality clinical supervision and an opportunity to hold a small case load alongside your management practice.

The Young People’s Volunteer Coordinator is an exciting new post at Barnsley CVS funded through Great Childhood Ambitions (GCA). The five strategic priorities for GCA are: Belong / Explore / Dream / Grow / Connect.

When we support capital projects, by which we mean land, buildings and their improvement / refurbishment, we seek to reflect the needs of local communities and the environment. This means that we will fund a wide range of capital projects, from small scale modernisations to new community buildings or landscapes.

• You will be a key part of a small team providing grant making support to ensure that advice is given where it matters most across our regional teams.
• You will provide in-depth advice on land and building projects throughout the whole lifecycle of our grant making (pre-application, assessment, decision making, grant management and build, and learning).

This is an exciting time to join WWT in this new post which will provide an essential support function across all three fundraising sections of the Philanthropy & Partnerships Department; Corporate Partnerships, Major donors and Grants. This post will also support the Prospect Research function of the team, helping to identify and qualify potential new donors for the team to investigate.  We work with a wide range of highly impactful and innovative corporate partners, grant funders, and philanthropists, who share our commitment to the environment. This role is key to the professional delivery of these partnerships, as well as supporting our ambitions to grow income. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience where you will work closely with colleagues across the P&P department and the wider organisation.

About You

Essential Skills

• To succeed in this role, efficient administrative skills with good use of Microsoft Office (particularly word and excel) are essential. As is an ability to independently prioritise workload with limited supervision is also a key function of this role as you will be supporting work across all three sections of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team (Grants, corporate and major donor).
• Experience of liaising with a broad range of stakeholders by phone, email and letter
• Experience of working in a busy department and to tight deadlines

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in a fundraising department
• Experience of using databases
• Experience of working to and maintaining budgets, preferably on excel

Additional Information

• This is a full time 12 Month Fixed Term Contract working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (4 days part-time considered for the right candidate).
• This role is suitable for hybrid working with travel to WWT Slimbridge as and when required.

The Royal School of Needlework is the International Centre of Excellence for the Art of Hand Embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we have been dedicated to preserving and innovating in the art of hand embroidery since 1872. Our thriving education programme offers courses for all levels, from beginners to degree level, and we teach onsite and online in locations across the UK, and internationally in America, Japan, and Australia. Our renowned Embroidery Studio creates bespoke embroidery for fashion, art, and royalty and offers expert conservation and restoration services for valuable and historical embroidered pieces.

The RSN is unique. No other single organisation covers the breadth of education and practice to promote the art and technique of hand embroidery or has our connections, collection, archive and heritage. Embroidery is an international language. Cultures and communities have used embroidery-based techniques to tell stories and record events for hundreds of years while the individual benefits of mindfulness and mental wellbeing are now increasingly being recognised today.

Overview of Role: To provide operational and administrative support across the RSN’s educational programmes, including the Certificate and Diploma, Tutor Training Course, Short Courses, International Summer School and On Demand Courses.

The main duties include, but are not limited to

General Administration

• Manage the Education Email Inboxes, responding to queries and complaints as appropriate
• Monitor and order stock levels, ensuring supplies are available as needed.
• Handle the packing and mailing of kits and materials, both nationally and internationally
• Support classroom setup for various courses, including Short Courses, Bespoke Classes, and events
• Assist in preparing beverages for students and visitors, maintaining cleanliness in the area.
• Escort visitors and guests from reception, including tour groups, while representing the RSN brand confidently and enthusiastically
• Attend offsite events as required.

Course-Related Administration

• Support the Certificate and Diploma Programme Managers in the administration of the course
• Assist the Tutor Training and Short Course Manager with the coordination and logistics of classes and events.
• Manage on-demand course operations, including kit fulfilment, customer support, and quality improvements, alongside administering the RSN Fellowship programme, coordinating CPD events, and supporting membership initiatives
• Provide logistical support for educational tours and other departmental activities. 3. Other Duties o Maintain a professional and efficient workflow within the Education team
• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Director of Education and the Education Management Team, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining organised records to facilitate programme delivery
• Undertake any additional activities required by your line manager within the scope of this role. You will not be expected to perform all the above duties, but we will expect you to be able to cover for colleagues where appropriate.

Our purpose is to create space where mental health comes first. We do this through working in partnership with other agencies and providing services in a trauma-informed way. The Mental Health Link Worker works collaboratively with Manchester City Council’s Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Services to ensure that people are better able to access appropriate support services for their mental health.

The Link Worker will join an existing worker to build collaborative and kind relationships where people feel heard and understood, enabling people to access services and navigate routes to support. They will provide community advocacy, deliver emotional support, make onward referrals and will communicate with community, primary and secondary health care. They will also work to support people to have their practical needs met around income, food and housing, seeking to reduce the impact these issues have on immediate mental health.

Position:  Mental Health Link Worker

Salary: £16,539 (pro rata to £27,565)

Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months (possible extension dependent on funding)

Hours: 21 hours per week – days and hours flexible and to be agreed
