We are seeking a skilled Programme Officer to support the end-to-end delivery of our sector-leading mentoring programme, ensuring participants join smoothly and are supported throughout. You will also support partners and donors to contribute to the delivery and expansion of the programme. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

The Stewardship and Events team, with the Senior Stewardship and Events Manager leading, plays an important role in transforming our high value fundraising through the development of transformative funding propositions, high profile fundraising and stewardship events and the creation of the highest quality stewardship tools.

About You

You will have experience of building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts specifically for major donors, companies and grant funders. You will also have excellent attention to detail, with experience of interpreting financial and impact data.

You will have experience in developing a special events programme to support engagement and high value fundraising; understanding the importance of events within high value stewardship plans.

Your excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills combined with your experience of working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders will ensure that the needs of our high value funding audiences are met and understood.

You will be a highly experienced people manager and leader, possessing strong relationship and project management skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across a number of conflicting deadlines and priorities. You will ideally be able to demonstrate fundraising experience and previous experience of working with high net worth individuals and committees is advantageous.

Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic, you will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable adapting confidently to a wide variety of social settings. 

About the Role

As Senior Stewardship and Events Manager, you will be leading on the creation of ambitious funding propositions which will be attractive to high value donors and funders, working with key stakeholders from across the organisation to fully understand our existing services and transformational projects; translating complex information into compelling cases for support to be used by our High Value Partnerships team in funding applications, pitches and proposals. You will work closely with Recovery Services, Data and Insights and Finance teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered and reporting and evaluation processes are in place.

Working with your team and the wider High Value Partnerships team you will develop a special events programme to support engagement and fundraising, as well as leading on the development of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. You will work alongside the High Value Events Officer and other High Value Partnerships Senior Managers to conceptualise, plan and deliver a range of event types, offering a variety of activities to engage and inspire high value supporters, and ensure they are connected to, and inspired by, the work of Help for Heroes.

You will support our relationship management teams across High Value Partnerships to embed and further develop the high value stewardship strategy to ensure those who support Help for Heroes at the highest levels enjoy an exceptional supporter experience.

Job Title: Domestic Abuse Support Worker

Location:Based at Bede House, 351 Southwark Park Road SE16 2JW, with work at various sites in Southwark. Due to the nature of the work, this is not a remote/working from home role.

Hours: Up to 35 hours/week (excluding lunch break). Schedule may vary according to the organisation’s needs. The role covers the normal core office hours of 9:00 am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. TOIL may be granted for extra hours worked, in advance and by agreement with the service manager.

You will as part of the Crisis team, make and maintain collaborative, consistent relationships with our members, staff, volunteers and other organisations.

• Exceptional knowledge of relevant sector, e.g., housing, homelessness, and welfare legislation.

• An understanding of psychologically informed approaches when working with people who have experienced complex trauma and marginalised individuals.

Competencies and Qualifications:

4. Understanding of UK financial regulations and tax laws, with specific knowledge of VAT and GiftAid advantageous.
5. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and supervision to a number of therapeutic services within Richmond Borough Mind. Our developed and respected Psychotherapy and Counselling Service has been providing long-term counselling interventions to local residents since 1988. The service is self-funded and offers a range of therapies which aim to provide individuals with the support and opportunity to work through their difficulties in depth with a skilled and experienced trainee or fully qualified therapist. Sliding scale rates are offered to make sure that we are accessible to all. We also run a number of therapeutic, psychoeducational, support and peer-led one to one sessions and groups, training workshops and other activities.

We are looking for a skilled and qualified (or in advance training) counselling supervisor to provide clinical supervision, leadership, management and service development of our Psychotherapy and Counselling service. Knowledge and understanding of a number of modalities would be an asset.  Part of the role will be to help us achieve and maintain BACP or equivalent service accreditation and to grow the service.

Home-Start is there to ensure that no parent or carer feels alone as they seek to give their children the best possible start in life. With our distinctive offer of volunteer-led home visiting support, Home-Start offers emotional and practical support to parents and carers with young children facing challenges in life such as isolation, poor mental health and poverty.

About The Role

At the heart of Home-Start is an inspirational network of 180 charities supporting over 43,000 families each year in communities across the UK. Home-Start UK is the central body in this network – supporting local Home-Starts and working to build national partnerships and profile. As a federation, we are a powerful combination of local charities close to the needs of communities alongside a UK-wide presence, voice and influence.

The last few years have been so intense for families. The pandemic left a long shadow on children’s development; the cost-of-living crisis is forcing parents to make the most impossible trade-offs; and there has been an erosion of services available at the earliest moments of a child’s life. As the Director of Network Impact at Home-Start UK, your role is to help equip our Home-Start network to face into all of these challenges.

As an established senior leader, you will have with a track record of managing complex relationships – possibly, but not necessarily, within a federated or networked environment. You will have achieved significant impact in relevant aspects of the role, bring credibility in relevant fields, and professional experience of safeguarding and child protection.

This exciting role is an important part of the PR and Media team which works to increase the Foundation’s profile and reputation with target audiences. We aim to strengthen our brand presence and ability to influence and inform decision makers by engaging professional stakeholders and the public through media and other communication channels. 

What does the role involve?

· Delivering key communications projects, particularly related to our policy and research work, in a coordinated and strategic way.

· Being a source of expert communications support to senior management colleagues and organisational spokespeople.

· Supporting the development and delivery of campaigns including our Mental Health Awareness Week.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

· Knowledge and experience of running effective communications campaigns.

· Proven writing and editorial skills, capable of delivering engaging and concise copy for a range of communications channels.

· Demonstrable ability to develop a wide range of contacts in the media and external environment, and to work in partnership with other organisations.

· Interest in mental health, public health, and social justice.
