Job description

The post holder will be a member of the DecodeME team, a project led by the University of Edinburgh and Action for M.E. 

Playing a key role in developing communications for the project, you will need to create and implement a wide variety of materials that meet the needs of our primary audiences which included participants, all of whom have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), and the scientific community.

Leading the work of Decode ME’s Marketing and Communications Group (MCG) you will facilitate the planning and implementation of the project’s communication and engagement strategy and study promotion activities across the different media channels and audiences. 

DecodeME is a co-production, meaning researchers, practitioners and people with lived experience work together, sharing power and responsibility from the start to the end of the project, including the generation of knowledge.
