About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustrans Behaviour Change and Engagement Team as it looks to encourage those in Harlow and the surrounding area to walk, wheel, and cycle.
As an Active Travel Project Officer in Harlow and Gilston Town (HGGT), you will assist in the delivery of the behaviour change programme to schools, workplaces and community groups. The project will encourage and enable the community to travel sustainably and actively, through various initiatives, events and competitions.
Your role will include duties such as the creation of materials and communications to increase the visibility of your work, delivering activities and events with a variety of people, reporting and presenting to stakeholders, and analysing surveys and other monitoring data.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as local community leaders, schools, businesses, local authority officers, along with all Sustrans colleagues within the region.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

The post of Group Work Facilitator will provide support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence within group work provision.
At FearFree we run various trauma-informed groups for victims such as: Hope2Recovery, an educational domestic abuse online support group; Rediscovering You, a face-to-face emotional wellbeing recovery group; Inspiring Families, a ‘whole family’ approach to support; and a Living Skills group supporting those having to flee domestic abuse.
We are looking for experienced and motivated staff to join us to help deliver the group work programmes we run around locations in Wiltshire. Groups run in the morning, afternoon and evening. Training for the groups will be provided.
In addition to facilitating groups, staff will be asked to attend training events and meetings, including regular supervision.
This is a fixed term role until November 2025, with the potential to become permanent subject to funding.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To facilitate group work provisions across the Wiltshire Service.
- Completing pre and post group assessments and required paperwork, following the procedures in place.
- Write comprehensive case notes following groups about service user involvement, any concerns raised and any action required.

Working part-time and in a location of your choosing, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the ombudsman scheme. ShelterBox is searching for an experienced supply chain professional to join our agile and ambitious International Programmes Department to work on our programmes which cover East and Southern Africa, Asia and MENA, West and Central Africa, and Emergencies.
This is a dynamic and impactful role. The Supply Chain Specialist will oversee the delivery of humanitarian shelter aid through importation, local/regional procurement and CVA. A strong knowledge of international logistics and Supplier Relationship Management is essential. Prior experience of establishing emergency supply chains for humanitarian projects is highly desirable.
The Supply Chain Specialist will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects right across the supply chain from international and local scoping, tactical planning and strategic inventory management to negotiation, procurement and preparedness.

This role would be ideally suited to someone with humanitarian emergency response experience both at an HQ, regional and field level. The role will be starting at a time where ShelterBox is going through significant change with a Business Systems Transformation taking place across the organisation to improve our ways of working. Role purpose
This role will be a core member of the Supply Chain Team, within the International Programmes Directorate and will report to the Programme Supply Chain Manager. The SESCS will work closely with the Supply Chain Managers, Emergency Team, Regional Directors and Programme Managers and it is expected that the SESCS will be assigned to work mainly on the Emergency Responses and line manage Emergency / Supply Chain Specialists or Junior Supply Chain Specialists. This includes assessing and selecting supply options/route; supporting tax free importation and customs clearance; developing last-mile logistics solutions including in-country freight and warehousing; supporting the sourcing of operational services and goods at a local, regional, and global level; advising and reviewing partner procurement; and supporting CVA modalities to ensure high quality, timely responses.
- Responsible for tendering international freight requests to ensure best value, service, and accountability for movement of relief supplies. Including overseeing shipping of aid items by air, sea, road, or rail and arranging the preparation and provision of relevant shipping documentation.
- Establish, develop, and lead on good supply chain relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers, other humanitarian actors, relevant government departments and logistics coordination mechanisms (Logs Cluster) at both global, regional, and field levels.
- Work with the Emergency Team and wider International Programmes Department to set up partnerships with other organisations.
