We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our Communications and Marketing team. You will lead our social media strategy, manage our channels, and create compelling, story-led content that engages new and existing supporters and raises awareness of World Jewish Relief. You’ll oversee our online voice, working closely with colleagues across communications, fundraising, and programmes to ensure a consistent, authentic presence across all platforms.​

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, designing, editing and publishing engaging, exciting, on-brand content including posts, stories, videos, and graphics collaborating with the Creative team.
• Writing clear, emotive copy tailored for each platform and audience.
• Ensuring ethical storytelling practices that respect the dignity and rights of the people we work with.
• Iterating and delivering a social media strategy aligned with the World Jewish Relief’s mission, brand, and campaigns.
• Managing day-to-day activity across all current platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and support us to develop our presence outside of these platforms.
• Using analytics to track engagement, optimise content, and report on performance and growth, ensuring insights feed into our tactics moving forward.
• Working closely with Head of Marketing to support paid campaigns across digital channels and ensure they are aligned with organic activity.
• Working closely with the fundraising, Marketing & Communication teams to deliver integrated fundraising campaigns and events, aligned with campaign narratives but specific for social media audiences.
• Working closely with Programmers and Partners to ensure they understand what good content looks like so you can maximise across our channels.
• Monitoring social media conversations and engaging in a timely and compassionate way.​

You should have:

• Experience managing and growing social media channels for a brand, ideally a charity, NGO, or values-driven organisation.
• Strong content creation and editing skills (photography, video, and short-form editing) with experiencing creating content for a brand, with demonstrable results.
• Ability to create and tailor content for a variety of global audiences, and report on results.
• Confident using social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
• Understanding of ethical communications and safeguarding in international development contexts.
• Expertise using design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Creative thinker with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Outstanding copywriting skills for online audiences and strong understanding of the Jewish community

As an Enhanced Support Worker you will support vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community, by providing flexible and individually tailored support.

The working pattern involves a set five-week rolling rota covering early, late, and weekend shifts. Shift times: Early: 8am-4pm. Late: 2:30pm-10:30pm. The service operates 24 hours 7 days a week.

Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support actions and capture outcomes in Support and Risk Management files.
Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community especially the local mental health system to ensure that customers receive the best treatment available

The Church of England’s Net Zero Carbon (NZC) programme has been established to help the Church deliver its commitment to reaching its NZC goals. It aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from the energy used in its buildings, schools and through work-related transport.

All parts of the Church will need to raise funds to implement this Net Zero plan. To this end, the Dioceses of Bath and Wells, Bristol, Exeter, Salisbury and Truro are collaborating on the shared ambition to achieve NZC across our dioceses and are looking to appoint a fixed term Fundraising Officer to work across the region to identify funding opportunities and secure funding towards delivering net carbon zero projects.

This is a new role and, as such, offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to make their mark. You will develop and maintain relationships with a range of potential funders and internal and external stakeholders across the region. You’ll need drive, initiative, resilience and the ability to shape an approach to NZC fundraising across the region. About the Service

Our Peripatetic Team provide front-line support to Solace’s Advice, Community and Accommodation-based Services across London. Crisis Intervention Workers enable our services to deliver a consistent high standard of service.

The team was created in order to have trained, skilled staff ready to cover gaps in service and facilitate the continued smooth running of services, proactively supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.  They are required to go into different teams and quickly establish themselves and provide support in times where staff teams may be struggling.

About the Role

In all services, peri workers provide nonjudgmental, confidential, and psychologically informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical tasks include risk assessment, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans.

Peri workers have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services. Working across departments offers peri workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.

The role will involve commuting to sites across London, and although hybrid working may be available in some projects it is not possible for all. Travel is taken into consideration when confirming placements, however you should be prepared for longer commutes.

As a Senior, you will need strong case management and the knowledge and confidence to advise others as you will often be in roles that involve supporting other staff members in their risk management and also career development. Your placements may involve partnership working and process development.

You will line manage up to three Peri employees in this role, so we are looking for someone ready to step in to a leadership role but training is available to develop these skills.

The Peripatetic Team is looking for passionate advocates who understand the importance of working in a trauma-informed way with both survivors and colleagues, who are willing to continuously learn and develop their skills, and who understand intersectionality and the impacts violence against women and girls can have on women with intersecting identities. While prior experience of working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not a requirement and if you have transferrable skills and a passion for supporting women and children then we would love to hear from you.

You will be a great addition to the Peri Team if you embrace change, have a growth mindset, and are comfortable working independently. Although peri workers are dispersed across different services, the team offers regular opportunities to connect with fellow peri colleagues.

You will need to be proactive and show initiative as there is lone working in roles and great time management skills to be able to balance your line management responsibilities as well as your case load.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new community based service supporting offenders as they transition from prison back into the community; rather than a custodial setting, where residents are able to go out into the community depending on their licence restrictions. As our Housing Lead, you play a vital role in supporting residents futures by working closely with housing stakeholders and residents to create tailored, effective move on plans. You help ensure people have the right tools, support and opportunities to rebuild their lives, reconnect with the community and move forward with confidence in their rehabilitation journey.

Some Key Responsibilities include:

• Act as the main point of contact between landlords, housing associations, local authorities, private landlords, wider Social Interest Group Services, and our residents
• Work with the wider team to support residents with their long term needs

• Manage current resident tenancies, ensuring timely rent payment

About You

We're looking for someone who has knowledge on different types of tenancies, an understanding of the types of needs of our resident group, and able to provide tailored solutions to meet their long term goals. You will have a true passion to support in making a change, supporting rehabilitation, and providing opportunities to people to make positive changes to their lives, and reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. Further, you will have:

• Previous experience in coordinating/delivering activities and interventions with people from different backgrounds
• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector
• Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment
• Knowledge of license conditions and public protection
• Knowledge of tenancy management, able to share knowledge with others in the team and residents

• The ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive, practical and people-focused House Assistant to help keep Future Dreams House running smoothly day to day.

This role is a mix of front-of-house, operations, and sustainability. You’ll be making sure the building looks and feels like a 5* space, greeting and supporting visitors, coordinating volunteers, and helping us embed eco-conscious practices across everything we do.

You’ll work closely with the House Manager and wider team to ensure every visitor feels safe, welcome, and cared for – from the moment they step through the door.

Key Responsibilities

House Operations & Maintenance

• Open and close the House and carry out daily checks for security, safety, and presentation.
• Keep all spaces – including communal areas, toilets, kitchens and therapy rooms – tidy, clean and well-stocked.
• Regular trips to the supermarket and post office.
• Run errands (e.g. flowers, supplies), manage waste and recycling, and support laundry of towels and linens.
• Set up rooms for workshops and events (furniture, AV equipment, yoga mats, refreshments).
• Support minor maintenance tasks and contractor visits as needed.

Front of House & Visitor Support

• Provide a warm welcome to everyone arriving at Future Dreams House.
• Help visitors sign in, complete forms and find where they need to go.
• Offer refreshments, give House tours and help maintain a calm, supportive environment.
• Answer phone and email enquiries with empathy and efficiency.
• Support with bookings and keep systems and calendars accurate.

Administration & Communications

• Manage the main info@ inbox, responding promptly and professionally.
• Keep room and workshop booking calendars up to date.
• Handle incoming and outgoing post, including packaging, labelling, post office runs and box recycling.
• Respond to information requests and send out materials such as leaflets and visitor information.

Volunteer Support

• Work alongside volunteers, guiding and supporting them through their tasks.
• Help coordinate volunteer activity, especially when the House Manager is away.
• Provide simple, on-the-job training around tasks such as front desk support, room set-up and kitchen duties.

Sustainability

• Act as the sustainability champion for Future Dreams House.
• Promote eco-friendly practices around energy use, recycling, waste reduction and sourcing.
• Help shape and track progress against our sustainability goals.
• Engage the wider team and volunteers in greener ways of working.

Health & Safety

• Act as a First Aider and Fire Marshal (full training provided).
• Support fire safety checks, drills and wider health & safety procedures.
• Help during evacuations and report any incidents or hazards promptly.

Organisational Support

• Support internal and external events as needed.

What the job involves

We’re seeking a Website Content Officer to join our Integrated Marketing and Media team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing and improving the content on our website, making sure it’s clear, accessible and meets the needs of our diverse audience.

Acting as the ‘voice of the user’, you’ll be responsible for publishing updates via our content management system (CMS), maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and accessibility across the site. You’ll oversee key areas, including the homepage, keeping information accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate.

You’ll work closely with teams across the Prostate Cancer UK to help shape their messages for the web, offering advice, guidance, and training where needed. Day to day, you’ll manage content schedules, review pages to identify improvements, and create or edit content to keep the site fresh and effective. You’ll also use digital analytics tools to monitor performance and suggest ways we can enhance the user experience.

As part of the Digital Marketing and Channels team, you’ll work closely with our email and social media teams to ensure our owned channels are aligned. You’ll lead on the delivery of our regular ‘News and Views’ articles in conjunction with our Strategic Communications team, and you’ll work closely with our Web Operations team to help identify and test new website features and fix technical issues. 

Please note internally this role is known as Digital Channels Officer – Web.

What we want from you

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content to serve a specific audience. You'll be skilled in using content management systems (ideally Umbraco) to build and update web pages.

You’ll have the technical skills to author and edit basic HTML, as well as prepare and edit images for the web. A good understanding of interpreting website analytics, including experience with Google Analytics and search engine optimisation techniques, is essential. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex analytics and technical details clearly and accessibly to colleagues who may not have a technical background.

In this role, you’ll need to manage priorities effectively and work well under tight deadlines. You’ll be confident negotiating and handling challenging conversations when necessary.  Staying up to date with current web tools and digital content trends will be a real advantage as we continually improve our site.
