Job description

Are you interested in working for a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults?

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Duty Worker to support the effective day-to-day running of our women-only hostel. The role involves carrying out a range of administrative duties, maintaining accurate resident records, responding to enquiries, reporting and monitoring repairs, liaising with contractors and external agencies, and ensuring residents receive a professional and responsive service.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain accurate resident records, process referrals, manage correspondence, and undertake a range of administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the women-only hostel.
  • Report, monitor, and follow up on repairs and maintenance issues, liaising with contractors and relevant teams to ensure works are completed promptly and to a high standard.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, staff, and external agencies, responding to enquiries, coordinating appointments, and contributing to a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment.

About you

The successful candidate will be able to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a safe and well-maintained environment for all residents.

You will also:
