Sounds great, what will I be doing?

This role is a comprehensive HR Business Partner position responsible for aligning HR strategy with the operational and strategic goals of Hestia. The postholder will work closely with designated client groups to support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE processes, and the implementation of new services. A key aspect of the role is coaching and supporting line managers to lead inclusively and in alignment with the organisation's values, as well as helping embed learning and development initiatives across teams. The role also champions Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), wellbeing, and reward and benefits.

The role involves providing expert HR guidance on employee relations and employment law, particularly in complex or sensitive cases. This includes managing issues such as conduct, performance, absence, grievances, and whistleblowing. As a member of the Resolution Hub, the HR Business Partner also leads mediation and conflict resolution efforts. The role ensures that HR practices are legally compliant and reflective of Hestia's values, collaborating with other departments to continually improve and align the people strategy.

In addition, the postholder oversees wellbeing and benefits initiatives, maintaining internal platforms and working with third-party providers. They use data to monitor engagement and uptake, guiding improvements and equipping managers with the tools to support staff effectively. The role also includes project management responsibilities, such as vendor transitions and scheme enhancements, to strengthen Hestia's overall employee value proposition.

The HR Business Partner will also take a lead in business change processes, ensuring due diligence during TUPE and structural changes, while facilitating smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for staff. Externally, they may represent the organisation as the main HR contact. Data analysis and reporting are essential, with the postholder tracking key HR metrics and contributing to both internal and external reports, such as those for the Charity Commission.

Finally, the role involves supporting broader HR functions, including recruitment and HR operations, as well as chairing and coordinating team meetings. There is a strong emphasis on contributing to and leading EDI and anti-racism strategies, supporting internal network groups, and collaborating with Hestia's recognised trade union, Unison. This is a dynamic and impactful role that requires strategic insight, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, values-led approach to HR.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate for this role will bring substantial experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally gained in a fast-paced, change-driven environment. They will have led on key people-focused areas such as wellbeing, reward, and benefits, and possess a strong background in managing complex HR issues. With at least 5 to 7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or as an HR Manager, they will be adept at supporting organisational change and driving strategic people initiatives.

They will be fully CIPD qualified, preferably to Level 7, and demonstrate a deep knowledge of employment law. Their experience will include leading TUPE transfers, managing restructures, and handling redundancy and consultation processes. The role requires someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who can build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders while offering challenge and support when necessary.

Attention to detail, strong numeracy, and excellent written English are all essential. The candidate will also need to be IT literate and comfortable working with data. A sound understanding of safeguarding is required, and prior experience working in the charity or public sector would be advantageous.

Website 

• Act as primary website administrator, keeping the website up to date by editing and adding new pages as required 

• Maintain content consistency across the website, especially as we redevelop our site and move to a new platform (WordPress, with Gutenberg editor) 

• Assist with website content migration using a good understanding of website database management systems (e.g. Jet Engine, ACF)

Job Description
The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. With new leadership installed at both lay and staff levels and a consultation process underway for the development of a five and fifteen-year strategy the Museum is looking for a new member of the team to assist in running the day-to-day administration of the organisation.

• Deliver in-person Skin Camouflage appointments, supporting people with visible differences
• Promote the service and build connections with local communities and health professionals
• Support the new service set-up, including clinics, documentation, and support the implementation of Welsh translations
• Coordinate and administrate appointments remotely and manage client enquiries
• Signpost clients to other Changing Faces services as needed

We are seeking a professional, empathetic individual with strong administrative skills and either experience or a talent in cosmetic artistry or colour matching. A background in nursing, therapy, or another healthcare role would be an advantage in the clinic-based environment.

Following training, the role will involve delivering one 6.5-hour weekday clinic per week. In this setting, you will provide Skin Camouflage colour matching, application, tuition, and guidance to individuals affected by a visible difference.

In addition, you will work 15.7 hours remotely across 2–3 weekdays. Working as an integral part of our Skin Camouflage team, administrating and co-ordinating a compassionate, professional service that makes a real difference in peoples lives.

Who We Are Looking For

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with first class communication skills to liaise effectively, clearly, logically, concisely and appropriately for the particular audiences. Additional fluency in Welsh would be desirable but not essential.
• Proven administrative ability, including the efficient use of administration systems, and confident use of the Microsoft Office suite, video conferencing tools, and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Experience or natural talent in cosmetic artistry or colour matching, with an excellent eye for colour and visual detail.
• On clinic days; ability to lift and wheel camouflage kit (approximately 10KG). Ability to kneel, bend and hold cosmetic brushes to facilitate camouflage on differing body areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen empathetically and support vulnerable clients, while maintaining professional boundaries and emotional resilience.

Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for everyone who has a mark, scar or condition that makes them look different (a visible difference). Being different in a society where there is such pressure to look a certain way is extremely difficult.

People with visible differences are vulnerable to isolation, loneliness, social anxiety and low self-esteem. They face staring, unwanted attention and even bullying and hate crime. They experience lowered expectations in education, problems getting work and stereotyping in the media. This can have a devastating, and lasting, impact on their wellbeing. You will work between police custody and criminal courts. You will assess, advise and refer offenders, providing them the opportunity to access treatment to address their substance use. Working with courts you will promote the use of Community Sentence Treatment Requirements (Drug Rehabilitations Requirements and Alcohol Treatment Requirements) amongst all court professionals and the judiciary, contributing to Pre Sentence Reports and advocate for our service users.  

You will be responsible for delivering all elements of substance use work including assertive engagement, harm reduction support (including naloxone provision), as well as other associated duties. You need to have an understanding of the issues faced by people who use drugs and alcohol, and who commit crime, and be dedicated to delivering a service that supports these individuals to make positive changes to their behaviour, health and well-being.

Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.

You'll join a closely knit team of fellow caseworkers, each using their individual experience and skills to provide person-centred support to victims. This provides a ready-made peer group who share best practice and knowledge and support each other so, in turn, they can best support road victims. There's no sugar coating it, this isn't an easy role, it requires a special type of person with strong resilience, but the reward is a strong sense of purpose, every day. Full training will be provided under the guidance of our dedicated Training Officer. Our induction program has been developed to equip caseworkers with the skills they need to provide high quality support to road victims and covers topics such as being trauma-informed, safeguarding and risk management. We are seeking an organised, data-driven, and creative Individual Giving Officer to support the delivery of high-quality fundraising campaigns that inspire supporters and grow income for Southampton Hospitals Charity. 

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging direct marketing campaigns across print, digital and email channels, with a particular focus on one-off appeals, regular donations, and incentivised giving products. 

Working closely with the Marketing & Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer, you will develop audience-led supporter journeys, compelling fundraising copy, and test-and-learn approaches to build lasting supporter relationships and maximise income from individual giving. 

Main Responsibilities: 

Campaign development and delivery 

• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a calendar of direct marketing campaigns across print, email, and digital, focused on income generation and donor retention. 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications Officer to develop compelling, supporter-centred fundraising copy for appeals, donation forms, landing pages, emails, and stewardship content. 

• Coordinate campaign production, from creative briefing to print and fulfilment, working with suppliers, designers, and mailing house partners as needed. 

• Lead on campaign timelines and ensure activity is delivered on time and within budget. 

• Work with colleagues across the charity to gather impactful case studies and project updates for use in donor communications. 

• Manage and maintain campaign collateral such as templates, thank-you letters, and welcome packs, ensuring brand and message consistency. 

Supporter journeys & stewardship 

• Develop and implement supporter journeys for new and existing individual givers, ensuring timely and relevant follow-ups to donations.

• Ensure all donor touchpoints (e.g. donation forms, thank-you pages, emails) provide an excellent experience.

Data & insight

This is a 3-year funded post with specific responsibility to improve and increase our support to those over 65 who are experiencing financial hardship

In the brand-new role of team leader, you will take on the responsibility of providing structured line management to our existing advice service. Supporting our four skilled and experienced part-time advice workers, while also expanding the service.

You will coordinate and deliver advice and information to new and existing groups including our own Older People’s Lunch Clubs.

Establish new satellite provision, delivering finance workshops, and drop-in services, and providing additional delivery capacity.

Ensure our Advice and Information team keep up to date with changes to legislation and support mechanisms so that they are empowered to support people in a holistic way. This will include signposting service users to the most appropriate support both internally, to other parts of our service, and to other external support.

You will lead on our efforts to gain the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) to ensure our service is of the highest professional standard.

You will represent ICCM on relevant panels and network groups across Greater Manchester. This ensures our service is connected to the wider support landscape and integrated with city and region-wide initiatives.

You will be expected to take on a limited caseload of one-to-one appointments providing advice and information to people.

Between drop-in, group sessions and one-to-one case load it is expected that you will work based on approximately 2 days per week being direct delivery. This is once the role has been fully established.

The Team Leader will focus on:

· Increasing organisational capacity, extending our reach and reducing waiting times.

· Coordinating and developing the team, ensuring the service continues to respond to changes in the welfare system, and that updates are communicated effectively across the team and to the people we support.

· Developing the AQS framework to improve and ensure the quality of work.

· Increase capacity to develop links with other stakeholders and VCFSE, building on existing connections and forging new links with other agencies and referral pathways.

· Ensuring our casework, feedback and monitoring (including our CRM system) is accurate and up to date, so we can best show the impact of our work.

· Supporting our Irish Traveller work to ensure all residents can access our services. 

· Contribute to the delivery of culturally specific training to professionals within health and social care across Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

· Day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Advice and Information Team, under the direction of the Advice and Advocacy Manager

· Provide regular individual supervision to each team member

· Develop culturally specific approaches to supporting older people across Manchester who are experiencing financial hardship. Including extending our reach to new people/areas and ensuring information is available, accessible, and in an appropriate format.

· Lead on attaining the Advice Quality Mark.

· Develop our service knowledge to take account of changes to the benefit system, council tax and energy prices.

· Provide oversight of the referral and booking system and the Case Management System to ensure all client activity is recorded. Working with the Administrator and other staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

· Review and enhance the outcomes monitoring system for the service. Ensuring good data collection and reporting internally and for funders.

· Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and make referrals where necessary in line with ICCM’s policies and procedures.

· Manage a restricted caseload

· Maintain accurate and timely case records and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Safeguarding Officer

Southern Synod are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer. The post holder will be the main contact for the churches within Southern Synod to advise them on safeguarding children and adults at risk on a day-to-day basis, as well as providing training to a wide range of people as necessary.  They will have excellent communication skills, broad experience of networking across organisations, expert knowledge of current statutory safeguarding legislation and the ability to work and travel independently.
