Mind in Brent, Wandsworth, and Westminster are looking for a Social Inclusion Project worker who will maintain and improve outcomes for service users at their Tooting Wellbeing Hub.
Your role will be to work with service users to support and identify their goals, as well as finding ways that they can achieve them. You’ll provide regular support planning meetings and evidence the plans and progress you make on our VIEWS database.
You will be responsible for:
- Facilitating groups for individuals in the group outreach programme.
- Collecting and reporting on data.
- Measuring outcomes using the Mental Health Warwick Edinburgh Wellbeing Scale and other appropriate measuring tools.
- Developing good working relationships with external agencies and attending external meetings.

- Passionate about supporting clinically vulnerable populations, with an understanding of how to talk to them with sensitivity.

- Good communication responsive to the needs of families of very young children who may be facing uncertainty and challenges at the beginning of understanding their child’s additional needs
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns that affect families who have disabled children e.g. leisure provision, education, respite care.
- Knowledge of issues relating to maximising income, tackling debt and budgeting, accessing financial support, tax credits and other financial issues.

AIM OF ROLE:
The aim of the requalification caseworker is to work with clients that apply to our requalification, loan and employment programme. This includes processing loan applications and conducting loan interviews, loan administration, client casework and supporting relationships with professional bodies. About the Service
The overall aim of the service is to increase survivor safety over time and to reduce incidents of domestic abuse through awareness raising and filling gaps in service provision, to reduce and remove harm for victim/survivors. The Floating Support Worker (FSW) supports victim/survivors of domestic abuse living in safe accommodation, at any level of risk, on a needs-led basis.
About the Role
As the FSW you will carry out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and support planning with survivors and advocate on their behalf with external agencies. You will provide ongoing casework support, including referrals to specialist advice and practical support, such as legal advice around civil and criminal remedies. You will empower survivors with information on their rights and options, demystifying complex statutory systems and dispelling myths perpetuated by perpetrators and wider society and will provide support to maintain accommodation, or to source permanent accommodation as necessary.
About You
You will have a passion for working with victim/survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning
You will be committed to understanding diversity and ensuring anti-discriminatory practice is applied in all forms of work.

About this key role
As our Conflict Resolution Caseworker, you will prepare, plan, and deliver Conflict Resolution sessions to individuals in prison, ensuring all sessions are appropriate and contextualised to reflect the local needs of the prison and its changing population, plus deliver additional tailored sessions as necessary to individuals who are unable to attend the group sessions or who require additional support. You will work with allocated learners to produce realistic assessment plans in accordance with Awarding Organisations' requirements and provide one-to-one support to learners as appropriate and monitor their progress towards timely completion and certification.
We will also count on you to assess learners using a range of assessment methods appropriate for the vocational qualification assessment criteria, provide detailed monthly and quarterly evaluative reporting, plus maintain accurate records of one-to-one work, case notes, session delivery and data collection.

Post Title: Social Switch Training Coordinator
Location: The post will be based primarily at Redthread’s head office in Brixton with some days at Catch 22’s central office and working from home . However, all Redthread team members must have a flexible approach to working on other sites across London when needed.
