About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Content Manager, to join our ambitious team. We know that incredible work goes on behind the scenes at Smart Works - what we do meaningfully changes the lives of thousands of women every year. As a creative, social-savvy Digital Content Manager, you’ll be ready to bring our work to life across our social media channels. Whether it’s capturing a powerful moment at our events, crafting content that makes people stop scrolling, or editing a short video that inspires thousands to act — this role is all about building connection through content.
Your work will make a real difference – spreading the Smart Works message not only to the women we exist to support, but fundraisers, referral partners, volunteers and the public too.
Some the key duties and responsibilities will include;
- Develop and professionalise content production to improve how we create and share stories.
- Strengthen our content strategy and distribution to digitally grow our audience through key campaigns.
- Coordinate our content calendar, scheduling, analysing and reporting of digital engagement, working with internal stakeholders across Partnerships, Operations and beyond.
The successful candidate will report to our Director of Communications & Marketing and will be a natural, creative storyteller who knows how to turn ideas into powerful posts across scoail media channels. They'll have a proven ability to write, film and design original content that tells our story and will be confident with Canva, CapCut, Adobe or similar tools for editing video and visuals. Responsibilities:
Grant Fundraising Support:
• Work with the Selce community (the board, staff, volunteers and other stakeholders) to generate new project ideas that support our strategic mission
• Research and identify potential grant-making trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies that will fund project proposals
• Prepare high-quality grant applications; this includes calculating budget requirements, formulating proposals, writing proposals
• Manage the grant administration process and maintain accurate records of funding opportunities and applications in the fundraising calendar.
Commissioned Work & Tendering Support:
• Assist in researching and identifying opportunities for commissioned work.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and proposals, including gathering necessary information, budgeting and formatting submissions.
• Provide administrative support for contract negotiation and agreement finalisation.
Community Share Capital
• Draft community share offer brochures and associated documentation
• Support the implementation of strategies to raise community share capital.

As Development Assistant you will:
· Have fantastic communication skills and excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all enquiries and managing the Fundraising inbox.
· Enhance the development team through robust administration processes and providing essential administrative support across all income streams, including administering the Cathedral’s Planned Giving scheme.
· Work with the Finance team to efficiently manage payment processes and administration and ensure timely acknowledgement of gifts.
· Support excellent donor engagement and stewardship through thank you letters, mailings, creation of literature and event co-ordination and support.
· Assist collating information and co-ordinating regular supporter communications across different channels to inspire people and demonstrate the impact of support.
· Deepen supporter relationships through accurately recording all income and activities on the Cathedral’s CRM system. Maximise the effectiveness of the CRM and keeping records up to date. (We are currently reviewing our systems, and this role will be instrumental in supporting implementation of any new systems.)
· Assist in the preparation and analysis of data and reports for use by the wider team to support future plans and activity.
· Amplify the prospecting work of the team by undertaking preliminary research and preparing briefing materials, in consultation with members of the team.
· Showcase the work of the Cathedral through supporting event organisation.
· Be keen to develop your fundraising skills and undertake relevant training and skills development to keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role.
· Support the team through additional duties as reasonably required to assist the smooth and efficient running of the Development Team and maximise the impact of the fundraising function. Some weekend and out of hours working may be required.

RSBC believes that every blind and partially sighted young person should have the chance to live life without limits.
We are seeking a part time Family Practitioner who will support families with blind and partially sighted children and young people to develop improved wellbeing, resilience, and coping strategies.
This post will cover North Wales, so the ability to visit families and being a car driver with access to your own vehicle is essential. You’ll be part of a remote England and Wales wide Family Practitioner team, who work closely together to draw on each other’s skills and experience to ensure families receive the best service from RSBC. You will work closely with the wider Services team to ensure children, young people and families get all the right services and support they need.
The team link together to run online groups to further support families, and this work may be in the evenings - time can be taken back for this. The team also meet weekly online and come together in person for two-day compulsory team training at our London office at least twice a year. We ask that one of your working days be Wednesday.
The main purpose of this role is to:
· To establish and maintain a case load of families with blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 0 to 25 who identify themselves as needing support.
· To undertake family assessments to identify specific areas of need; to identify and deliver appropriate interventions that will promote children’s development and emotional wellbeing in collaboration with family members and make and support onward referrals as required.
· To ensure that support is high quality and meets the high standard that RSBC sets, with pre agreed performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification that demonstrates the ability to establish a trusting and open relationship with families and CYP. You’ll be experienced in providing emotional wellbeing support with families directly and have knowledge of child development from experience or qualification. You’ll know about family systems/systemic practice – from experience or qualification as well as knowledge and practical experience of using family centred interventions in collaboration with families. We’d like you to have excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong teamwork ethic to fit in with our friendly and knowledgeable team of Family Practitioners across England and Wales.

The Research & Information Officer will play a crucial role in gathering, analysing, and disseminating information to support Bone Cancer Research Trust’s research activities and patient information resources.

We are looking for an experienced Designer to lead Product and Service Development priorities from our growing Design and Innovation Team at BookTrust.
The Designer, Product and Service Development will lead on activating the key design priorities that have come out of our new strategy. The successful candidate will need to be a multiskilled, ambidextrous designer who can apply human-centered design approaches to online and offline products/services and design end-to-end experiences.
We’re looking for someone with a track record of working with multiple functional teams to design brilliant products and/or services and who has hands-on, practical design experience.
The successful candidate would be involved in projects such as; developing a new group storytelling offer, setting up new co-design cohorts and experimenting with approaches, leading the definition of a new age range product for our early years subscription Story Explorers.
Key Deliverables include
- Lead the design of new products or re-fresh our existing products using design thinking/human-centered approaches. This may include a variety of types of online and offline products incl digital touchpoints and content, in person experiences, resources and books, engagement and training.
- Work with our Research & Impact team to establish a robust design learning approach, that supports us to make rapid progress in designing and delivering new or improved products.
- Work closely with our supply chain, IT, digital, books and content teams to develop prototypes and pilots that will test and refine our product offerings.
