What You’ll Do:
As our Head of Fundraising, you will play a vital role to help deliver the League’s vision of a kinder society where animals are no longer persecuted in the name of ‘sport’. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving the development and delivery of the charity’s individual giving programme and all related activities, projects and materials (both offline and digital)
• Maintaining and growing income, ensuring income targets are met while expenditure runs within budget
• Managing and co-ordinating planning and reporting across the Fundraising department
• Ensuring excellent service is delivered to supporters

About the Role

As Customer Services Manager, you will lead and develop the charity’s customer services, resident engagement and communications functions. Your work will help deliver the organisation’s mission of providing safe, secure and good quality affordable homes for single women across London.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and managing a team that includes Customer Service Advisors, a Resident Engagement and Resolutions Officer and a Communications Officer, you will ensure services are consistent, resident centred and delivered right first time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading customer services, resident engagement and communications across the organisation
• Ensuring prompt, high quality responses to all queries related to repairs, estates and tenancy management
• Developing effective systems for complaints handling that reflect the charity’s Complaints Policy and Housing Ombudsman principles

About You

Essential skills and experience include:

• Experience with grants, either as a grant maker or as a grantee

The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer role is critical to the charity's long-term sustainability and is pivotal in ensuring our branches have the volunteers and guidance they need to support our clients going forward.

This is both an internal and external-facing role, focused on recruiting volunteers and developing initiatives that will streamline how we recruit and welcome new volunteers into our network of branches.

We are seeking an experienced volunteering officer, who has a strong background in both volunteer recruitment and project delivery. Experience in being part of a team going through a change programme involving volunteers is advantageous. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with project delivery and innovation. Founded in 1982, Galop has been championing the safety of the LGBT+ community for over 40 years. The charity works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They run four national support helplines: for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so-called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for victims who need longer-term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent contract basis paying a salary between £41,534 to £44,749 (including Inner London Weighting of £4,009) per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The charity started investing in Individual Giving in October 2023, with some key foundation building and early fundraising activity having taken place since then. This role aims to develop and secure a diverse range of funding streams to deliver their ambitious fundraising growth plans over the next 3 years. The post holder will work with the Head of Fundraising and Comms to grow their income from individuals, to ensure the long-term stability of the charity, helping them to deliver support to as many victims and survivors of abuse as possible.

About the Role

2026 marks 100 years since Gunnersbury Park was opened as a public park, and Gunnersbury Museum and Park Development Trust are looking to hire a freelance development manager to help us make the most of our centenary year. 

We are looking for an experienced development professional to join our team on a freelance basis as part of an Arts Council funded project. This role will be a real opportunity to become embedded in an organisation at the beginning of a transformative period, as we focus our energies on raising awareness of the great work of GMPDT.

The successful candidate will lead GMPDT towards increased financial resilience by identifying new funding opportunities and managing the development of a new fundraising campaign.

They will work with staff and volunteers to develop a ‘project bank’ of fundable projects across the Museum and Park and identify appropriate funding streams for each.

They will also identify one key project to launch Gunnersbury’s first fundraising campaign, working with freelancers/subcontractors to create supporting materials for the chosen campaign.

For Europe's largest infrastructure project, we are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to drive accountability and focus on cost control for the Corporate Services Directorate. This is a key role measuring and reporting on financial performance and promoting effective decision-making of direct and indirect costs. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering and providing oversight, control and direction to a team of up to 4 Finance Business Partners, this role is key in ensuring the financial targets and value for money are met.

Main Duties:

• Manage, and develop the Finance Business Partner team to embed and drive a cost control and productivity focused culture across the directorate

This is an exciting new role to deliver policy change and enhance the rights of children and young people with a learning disability. At a key time to influence Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education reform, we are seeking a policy specialist to shape policy work that reflects the needs and experiences of children, young people, and their families. Working within the policy team, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy work and influencing decision-makers. 

This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week). We are flexible with your work location, but there may be some occasional travel needed to our London office or Westminster.

You will:

· Develop and expand Mencap’s ‘Policy Shapers’ work, ensuring our work reflects the experiences of children and young people with a learning disability and their families.

· Support our information and advice team, briefing them on important developments, inputting into casework discussions relevant to your areas of work, and supporting the creation of public information resources.

· Represent Mencap at meetings and events, with MPs, civil servants, and sector partners.

· Identify and analyse relevant research to develop evidence-based policy recommendations.

You will bring to this role:

Learning and Development Officer

Position: Learning and Development Officer (known internally as Talent Academy Officer)

Location: London/Hybrid working (two days a week in the London office/White City, combined with home-working and frequent travel across the Youth Zone network as required)

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum

About the Role

Overview of the role

The Project Officer will work with the Viewpoint team, pool of lived experience facilitators and local communities to co-develop and deliver projects that forward mental health recovery in the wider community.

The postholder will enable the participation of people experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges in all aspects of the planning, delivery, and monitoring of services delivered and to ensure they are provided with the relevant training, support and resources to participate effectively.

The post-holder will work with individuals from all communities to develop new and innovative ways to reach harder-to-reach people. For example, people from travelling communities and farming communities. This role will further the reach of Viewpoint as an organisation to involve diverse communities and ensure their voices are heard in internal and external projects.

The monitoring, evaluation and learning that the postholder collects will be essential for the development of the organisational strategy. The strategy is developed with Viewpoint’s team and pool of experienced facilitators so that our service delivery to those with mental health and substance use challenges can be continually improved.
