Job Title: Concierge
Location: This role is based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Concierge to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most. This role is key to keeping our building, residents and service secure and responsive. You’ll do regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, support residents with queries, keep records, and hand over to the team. You’ll also help maintain a clean and safe environment.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring our buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks and responding affectively and appropriately to emergencies
- Maintaining professionalism and kindness with residents and visitors, attending to calls, managing deliveries and ensuring great communication with the team in line with policies and procedures.
- Provide a daily report on resident activity, AINMs, safeguarding and concerns for handovers.
- Working with the wider team to make sure any urgent issues are picked up and followed through
- Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift.
- Adapting to service needs to support risk assessments, safeguarding checks, and service standards
- Supporting residents to build confidence and independence, contributing to a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity
- Noticing when someone might be struggling with their physical or mental health, and taking prompt action to prevent escalation
- Helping to keep the environment clean and welcoming from tidying communal spaces to reporting repairs and completing admin tasks accurately and sensitively
- Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for colleagues for a seamless service.

Facilities Supervisor Salary £32,000
On site at Southwark, there are five listed multi-function buildings: offices, residential accommodation, function space, storage/archive and the Cathedral. The RC Diocese of Southwark has its administrative services in Bowen House, the site offices and accommodation are housed across Archbishop’s House and Cathedral House with Amigo Hall being a conference/ events space. It is a complex site both in terms of the nature of the buildings and their uses.
As well as the Clergy and the Diocese staff, we also have other organisations and groups who use our premises and services, both in support of our aims and to raise funds for building maintenance.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation in this role. We have embarked on a new strategy, making changes in how we work, particularly to improve our events service. This role will focus on collaborating across these areas:
- Deliver a great service and spaces to clergy, clients, staff, and all building users
- Support the relationships with our parishioners and other groups

Job Purpose:
To provide efficient, cost-effective and safe maintenance of buildings and facilities for clergy, staff, residents, parishioners and visitors in buildings and outside spaces located on the site. This role will also be responsible for the management of events, primarily in the Cathedral and Amigo Hall. There are no reports, but this role is one of a team of three, who are essentially ‘hands on’ where the job holder will be expected to ‘do’ as needed and will often work independently as the position is rostered across 7 days
Job Responsibilities:
This job will be responsible for (this list is not exhaustive):
- Site/Facilities
- Creating daily worksheets for 4 staff and checking daily on progress, reporting back to the Head of Facilities weekly on Mondays
- Ensuring a satisfactory, physical environment for all users and, in conjunction with other interested parties, to promote the efficient use of Diocesan assets
- Supporting the planned maintenance programme and dealing with unexpected issues as they arise
- Dealing effectively with any emergency/crisis issues
- Having experience of maintenance of power/electrics, heating/cooling, entry systems, cleaning, drills/alarms and security to liaise with and support the work of third-party contractors and utility providers
- Providing decorative touch ups, repair work and general maintenance
- Lone Working, in evenings and over rostered weekends
- Health and Safety on the site and in collaboration with the Diocesan Health and Safety Team.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef & Nutrition Coach to join our brand new service opening in April 2026! As a Chef & Nutrition Coach in the service, you will improve their dietary habits, optimise health, personalised as well as creating meals for our diverse and marginalised residents as they seek recovery. You will need to understand ordering and budgeting as well as a strong understanding of food safety. A solid understanding of meal planning, dietary needs, and allergy control is essential, but your most important quality will be that you are a people person who is willing to engage with our residents as you tailor healthy and delicious meals to satisfy their needs and wants.
This service is an 11 bed, community based mental health crisis and step down service offering short stay, trauma informed support. The team will support our residents who are at risk of admission but can be supported outside of mental health hospital settings, by providing tailored support to them to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals, to live more fulfilled lives and independent living.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Planning, preparing and cooking food then serving this to residents.
- Plan and deliver purposeful workshops and activities for residents to participate in to develop life skills.
- Plan and prepare food for cooking on days when off duty.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept equipped with food supplies, equipment and tools.
- Maintain the kitchen and communal areas to ensure they are always kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure food and beverages are readily available for residents.

Overview We are seeking an experienced interim professional to provide operational support to the Fire and Security Contracts Manager in a large housing association. The role focuses on coordinating the delivery of minor and responsive works arising from fire-related cyclical inspections (including Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and Fire Door Inspection (FDI) actions) across a diverse property portfolio.
This is a hands-on, autonomous position requiring strong initiative, with an emphasis on ensuring safe, timely, compliant, and budget-controlled outcomes for residents. It is ideal for a contractor with proven experience in fire safety compliance and works delivery in regulated environments such as social housing, construction, or property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full delivery cycle of outsourced and internal minor/responsive fire safety works, including scoping, issuing instructions, monitoring progress, verifying completion evidence, and managing contractor performance.

You will be based primarily at Folkestone Probation Office, with up to two days per week spent providing outreach support in the community. This position involves close collaboration with the Folkestone Women's Pod to identify women who require intensive support.

You need to have experience of working in a target driven environment where you achieved or exceeded your targets as well. A good understanding of mental health and supporting those in times of need along with a positive and empathetic manner. It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of the IPS model and have worked in that function. Ideally you would have worked in this sort of position before or in a recruitment role where you were supporting applicants in improving there chances of success.
