The Role

As the Chief Business Improvement and Technology Officer, you will lead efforts in quality, assurance and compliance, business reporting, and technology and digital transformation. You’ll ensure services are high-performing, compliant, and continuously improving, and that systems and insights support everything from frontline care to national campaigning. This role is a key member of that team, working alongside the Deputy Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and Chief People Officer. Together, you will shape the organisation’s strategy, culture, and delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone with senior leadership experience in technology, digital, data, or business improvement within a care, support, health, or social impact organisation. With proven ability to develop business improvement strategies (for example, quality, technology, data) that enhance frontline service and wider programme and practice delivery and user experience, you will have a strong track record of building and embedding organisational data and insight functions that inform both operational decisions and external campaigning and influencing.

You will have experience of:

• Technology, data, or business improvement in the charity, health, or social care sectors.
• Overseeing IT infrastructure, and/or digital platforms, and/or cyber security in a multi-site or distributed service environment.
• Deep understanding of data protection, compliance, quality assurance, and governance.
• Using data and digital tools to support and improve service delivery, and/or policy development, campaigning, and public engagement.

An exciting opportunity as an Education Officer is available at the Godinton House Preservation Trust to support the Head of Learning in delivering the educational programme, which focuses on the natural environment and heritage.

The current education programme provides meaningful learning experiences for primary school children, local groups, and adults through workshops. The Role

The role will include the following elements:

• Supporting the Head of Learning in organising, preparing, and delivering a wide range of educational sessions, mainly for primary school-aged children.
• Developing and coordinating a new programme of adult educational workshops, utilising the estate's diverse resources and heritage.

Job Title: Visitor Experience Manager

Role Description

Working with other staff and volunteers, you will oversee the visitor experience to ensure a consistently high standard, delivering a wide-ranging programme of activities that will also attract a new and diverse audience to the Cathedral whilst maximising visitor donations and income.

Key Responsibilities

• Commitment to the Cathedral’s values and inclusive culture and to demonstrate them through professional behaviour working with clergy, staff and volunteers
• Management and oversight of visitor experience ensuring all visitors have a positive experience, whether they come to the Cathedral as a sightseer, pilgrim, worshipper, or event attendee
• Ensure safe recruitment, induction, training and management of paid Welcome Assistants to offer a consistently high standard of welcome and increase donated income
• Liaise with all volunteer groups involved in the visitor experience, including Welcome Stewards, Chaplains, Tower Tour Guides, Tour Guides, LEGO model builders to ensure consistency of welcome
• Deliver an exciting programme of visitor events and activities that generates income and growth whilst supporting the Cathedral’s Mission, Values and Strategic Objectives
• Make connections between Cathedral attractions, the Cathedral shop and Pilgrims’ Kitchen restaurant, and support a culture of collaboration to develop and enhance the experience for visitors
• Support the work of the Volunteer Manager to ensure that volunteers are appropriately recruited, valued, trained (particularly in respect of safeguarding), communicated with, and acknowledged)
• Work with the Head Verger/Event Manager on key projects which impact the visitor experience and drive visitor footfall
• Work with the Head Verger/Event Manager to propose and develop new and innovative projects/exhibitions to appeal to the local, and repeat visit, audience

• Produce and manage a relevant and realistic budget for Visitor Experience and ensure operation within that budget are constantly monitored, forecasting and reporting performance against budget in conjunction with the Chief Finance Officer
• Regularly review, analyse, and report on visitor statistics to identify next steps and future requirements

Probationary and notice period

In accordance with current Chapter Policy, the post is subject to a 12 week probationary period. After completion of the probationary period the notice period is one month.

Pension

After 12 weeks’ service, the post-holder with be auto-enrolled into a pension scheme with the Church Workers Pension Fund.

We are seeking a Senior Events Executive to lead the development and delivery of our Virtual Mass Participation portfolio. These fundraising products are designed to raise vital funds, build awareness, and encourage healthy habits.

About the Role 

You will play a crucial role in the development and continuous improvement of virtual products from start to finish. You will test, learn, and innovate to create compelling and supporter-focused experiences. Working closely with our Innovation team, you will help expand our growing portfolio of virtual fundraising products each year. 

You will collaborate with teams across marketing, digital, events, and supporter services to bring our virtual events to life and ensure they deliver strong return on investment. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Manage the full lifecycle of virtual mass participation products, ensuring they are engaging, impactful, and meet performance targets
• Use data and insight to drive continuous improvement and deliver the best possible supporter experience
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to plan, deliver, and evaluate all aspects of product activit
• Design and implement creative stewardship journeys that inspire and retain supporters
• Track financial performance and KPIs, ensuring accurate data is captured and used to inform decisions

About You 

As our ideal candidate, you’ll bring experience managing income-generating products from start to finish, ideally within product marketing, fundraising campaigns, or events. You have a strong understanding of marketing and fundraising principles, including insight, customer journeys, and multi-channel communications. You are confident managing projects with multiple stakeholders and have experience presenting to both internal and external audiences.

You are proactive, creative, and commercially aware, with strong analytical skills and experience in budget management. You are familiar with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and customer databases, and stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the marketing and fundraising space. 

Working arrangements

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

This role goes beyond traditional HR, and will help to deliver significant systemic change within ATLEU and, through sharing our learning, for survivors of trafficking across the advice and anti-trafficking workforces. The successful candidate will strengthen ATLEU’s organisational capacity to become a lived experience advice sector employer, integrate exceptional people management and ensure that every employee is equipped to thrive in their role.

In the coming months we will be reviewing our structure to better align it with our purpose and strategy, which will include establishing a new executive and leadership team and this appointment of a People and Inclusion Manager. This is a role for anyone with at least three years of HR experience and a strong interest in taking on a new challenge in an organisation with a commitment to maintaining and strengthening its people and culture and, to build its capacity to provide employment pathways for survivors of trafficking and slavery within the advice sector.

You will work closely under the supervision of the Head of Operations to develop and deliver a People, Culture and Inclusion strategy. You will provide efficient and effective management of Human Resources (HR) services and ensure ATLEU’s values and culture are woven into all areas of our activities. This is a part-time role (up to 21 hours per week), offering opportunities for growth and development.

The People and Inclusion Manager will be responsible for leading on enhancing  a positive, energising work environment at ATLEU, enhancing staff well-being; with a specific focus on

- developing and implementing a people, culture and inclusion strategy

JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose of this post is to provide comprehensive financial management for Bradford Hospitals Charity, ensuring accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and effective management of the Charity's financial position.

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the charity through its exciting transition to independence, establishing appropriate financial systems, controls, and procedures to ensure the charity can operate effectively as an independent organisation. This will include developing new financial governance structures and helping to shape the charity's financial strategy for the future.

The Finance Manager will lead on all aspects of the Charity's financial management, providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making by the Charity Director and Trustees. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant professional standards, Charity Commission requirements, and NHS guidelines.

The postholder will maintain a close working relationship with the Trust finance team to benefit from their expertise while ensuring the Charity's specific financial management needs are met during and after the transition to independence. The Finance Manager will be supported by the Deputy Director of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer, who will provide guidance on compliance with Charity Commission requirements, financial governance, and wider strategic financial management to ensure the role is well-connected within the broader financial structure.

Working collaboratively with fundraising and operational colleagues, the Finance Manager will help maximise the use of charitable funds to benefit patients and the Trust.

JOB DIMENSIONS

The post will have responsibility for the Charity's financial systems, including managing and monitoring all charitable income and expenditure, financial forecasting, producing monthly Financial and management accounts, annual accounts, and maintaining effective control systems.

A key aspect of this role is managing the Charity's portfolio of trust funds, which consists of various restricted, designated and unrestricted funds. The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all donations are correctly allocated to the appropriate funds, that expenditure from these funds complies with donors' wishes and charity law, and that fund balances are accurately tracked and reported.

The postholder will carry out their duties in line with departmental accounting policies, and with reference to Trust Standard Financial Instructions (SFIs) & Standing Orders (SOs), as well as charity-specific financial regulations and requirements.

The Finance Manager will provide expert financial advice to fund advisors, Charity staff, and the Charity Director, taking initiative to achieve agreed results and working independently on a day-to-day basis within clearly defined policies, protocols, procedures, and codes of conduct. While having significant autonomy in managing the charity's finances, the postholder will not work in isolation but as part of a supportive network that includes senior finance leadership within the Trust.

It is an important role within a busy Community Mental Health Team. You would be employed by Manchester Mind but you would be based and managed by Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust on a day to day basis.

Location: South Team based in Withington/West Didsbury

Hours:            18.5 hours per week

Salary: £25,467 p.a. (pro rata £12,733.50 actual)

Supporting people in their journey to recovery is an integral part of this job. To ensure that this happens we are looking for a creative, innovative person with excellent engagement skills and a positive and collaborative approach to working with people.

You will need to be a team player but also not afraid to take the lead when needed and we are looking for you to have experience working with people with mental health needs. Experience of using mental health services will be an advantage. Successful applicants will need to be able to show that they can maintain a positive approach to providing recovery-focused support to people using services.
