Muslim Hands UK is seeking a proactive, professional and experienced Administrator to our Trustees to support the efficient and effective functioning of our Board of Trustees. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the Chair, Trustees, and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth delivery of board meetings, maintain compliance with governance requirements and facilitate clear, timely communication with stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you should have experience in an administrative or governance support role, demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to exercise a high degree of discretion and tact. Ideally, you will have working knowledge of UK regulatory requirements with a particular appreciation of charity regulation.

Main Responsibilities:

As Specialist Administrative Support to the Board of Trustees, you will play a vital role in supporting the Board when the central governance team is unavailable or not engaged. Your responsibilities will include coordinating board meetings, preparing and circulating agendas and papers, taking minutes, and maintaining accurate records. You will act as a key liaison between the Board and senior leadership, ensuring timely communication, follow-up on actions, and compliance with governance standards. The role also involves drafting documents, supporting policy reviews, managing regulatory submissions, and providing general administrative support to ensure the Board operates efficiently and effectively.

The role is full time, with one or two days per month based from our National Ministry Centre in Coventry.

The role will involve working some Sundays, when church opportunities occur.

The Marsh Christian Trust (MCT) is looking for an Assistant to join a small, dynamic team and support the day-to-day running of the organisation. You will drive the engagement of young people by developing strong partnerships with local schools and delivering vibrant holiday activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, teachers, and education bodies.
• Designing and delivering engaging educational programmes aligned with school priorities.
• Planning, promoting, and delivering high-quality Holiday Club activities during school holidays.
• Managing programme budgets and ensuring cost-effective delivery.
• Applying for and managing Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) grants and other relevant funding.
• Capturing and evaluating outcomes, feedback, and data to inform improvements.
• Line managing, motivating, and supporting a team of staff and volunteers.
• Ensuring activities meet the needs of all young people, including those with SEND.

About you:

You will be a passionate and committed youth work professional who brings creativity, energy, and focus to everything you do. You will have:

• Experience delivering face-to-face youth or schools-based activities for young people aged 8+.
• A proven ability to build strong relationships with schools and external partners.
• Skills in managing and motivating staff and volunteers to deliver excellent programmes.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and promoting equality and diversity.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• A flexible, positive attitude with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and during school holidays.
• A commitment to empowering young people and raising their aspirations.

Our client is an independent charity and purpose-built youth centre for Barnet’s young people aged 8 to 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs.
