Job description
IAG Delivery and line management
· To be accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets – including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets
· To manage a caseload of participants requiring Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), confidence building and employability training

About Woman's Trust
Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. Led by and for women, it aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a safe and healthy life, free from further harm. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recover from the trauma. We support 900 women and children annually, with an income of £1.3m and 40 staff. We are committed to a positive, inclusive and equitable environment for our staff, service users and volunteers. Alongside our current service provision, we are focused on developing innovative mental health services for young women and girls, launching peer-led support groups and providing therapeutic groups to children and their mothers. About the role
As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022-2027 strategy. The Finance Manager is at the heart of Woman’s Trust; you will play an essential role and have oversight of not just the finance team - you will have direct exposure to CEO/Board Members and decision-making for the future of the organisation.
We are looking for a highly motived Temporary Finance Manager with demonstrable experience working in a similar senior level role. You’ll be a fully or part qualified accountant e.g. CIMA/ACA/ACCA/Cipfa, with a thorough understanding of charity accounting.
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed term to start ASAP until 18th December 2025.

The Grants Officer will support the Senior Manager to develop and implement monitoring and reporting
processes across the Foundation’s grant-giving activities. To be successful in the role, you must have
excellent knowledge of results-based monitoring and reporting, demonstrate strong organisational and
administrative skills, and ideally have experience working with colleagues from different cultural
backgrounds.
The initial focus of the role will be monitoring and reporting in relation to the implementation of a Big 6
EU funded programme, the Youth Empowerment Fund (YEF). This programme focuses on supporting
youth-led initiatives, giving young people the means to be effective agents of change. The YEF is global
in its reach but will focus on supporting local solutions and grassroots initiatives that young people
develop on the ground. The Officer will play a key role in supporting the Senior Manager to maintain and
grow Big 6 advocacy and partnerships for the short and long-term. This role will also work closely with
colleagues from the Operations and Finance team to ensure accurate information is delivered to key
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Youth Empowerment Fund (60%):
- Support the monitoring and reporting of the EU funded YEF programme. Including coordinationwithin the IAF and with the Big 6 designated leads.
- Communicating with and activating networks of national organizations to participate in the YEF,including sharing opportunities to take part in Big 6 advocacy activities and applying for youthled solutions open-call Local Solutions grants.
- Issuing of grants to successful national organizations and monitoring and evaluation, including regular reporting on outcomes and impact of national projects to the YEF project team.
- Sharing success stories from the YEF to support the Big 6 communication, storytelling and creative reporting efforts.
Other Grant based support (40%):
- Oversee grant-giving financial processes, creating and issuing of grant payments.
- Support the Senior Operations Manager with the reporting of grant activities for Senior Management and various stakeholders.
- Support the ongoing development of other Foundation grant reporting efforts as required.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required for the successful delivery of the Foundation’s business objectives.

Job Title: Health Independent Gender Vioelnce Advocate (Health IGVA)

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Health IGVA supporting women and children who are impacted by different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). You will work closely with victims of VAWG from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of VAWG at the highest risk and their children.
The Health IGVA will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals and providers to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about gender based abuse and different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG): including Domestic abuse and violence (physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, economic or tech abuse), Sexual Violence (Rape and sexual assault), Stalking and harassment , Sexual exploitation (including women working in sex industry and Child Sexual Exploitation), Female genital mutilation (FGM)/cutting , Forced marriage, So-called ‘honour’-based abuse, provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for survivors of all genders, aged 16 years and over and their children, living, working or/and studying in Lambeth.
The post holder will work in partnership with the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Gaia Service Manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area and build links with health professionals and support agencies.
The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multiagency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support.
The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, and practical options that might increase their safety.
This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.
