Our workshops also incorporate key safety messages that are integral for keeping young people and their families safe when around dogs.

The Internet of Production is a small, international charity that brings together a global alliance dedicated to building a future of decentralized and distributed manufacturing. We seek to enable a sustainable and globally networked system of production, where products are fabricated using local capabilities and global designs; to complement mass production and global supply chains with ‘production by the masses’ and local enterprise. We work on open standards for networking, support experiments in open digital infrastructures and run projects that develop key parts of a future ‘Internet of Production’ – such as the ‘makerspaces’ in Africa.
Role & Responsibilities:
Supported by the CEO and the previous project manager (now full-time on a parallel project) and working with a small team of project staff, the Project Manager will:
- Manage the project, informed by the project design and existing workplans and budgets;
- Mobilise existing relationships with makerspaces in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa;
- Oversee makerspace’s bidding application processes for training and financial support;
- Manage donor processes including milestone reports and sharing deliverables;
- Assist with the appointment and management of freelance consultants and developers;
- Prepare for and attend key event in Cape Town in November 2024;
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, deliverables, outputs and impacts;
- Manage and chair monthly stakeholder meetings and regular donor meetings, all online;
- Complete and submit quarterly reporting, and oversee progress against the budget.
Person Specification:
- Excellent project management skills;
- Experience of donor reporting and relationship management;
- A qualification in project management is desirable but not required;
- Experience of working in non-profit organisations, with government funds or on international aid funding would be very helpful;
- Experience of managing contractors / consultants and their contracts is essential;
- Experience of selecting, awarding and managing small grants is helpful;

The Discover DeCrypt Trustees wish to appoint a self-employed fundraising consultant to undertake fundraising to achieve at a minimum the matched funding target (circa £92k) for submission of The National Lottery Heritage Fund Round 2 bid for The Sanctuary Project in St Mary de Crypt Church, Gloucester. The work will need to be carried out between July 2024 and July 2025 with all matched funding pledged by that end date and any surplus funding contributing to unrestricted reserves.
Introduction Discover DeCrypt undertook a major Heritage Fund project between Jan 2018 and March 2022. This capital project saw the reimagining of the church and adjoining Tudor schoolroom buildings. The project saw the Victorian pews removed (and repurposed), a lift (sympathetic to the buildings) installed, new toilet facilities, new heating system, new fire and intruder system, new lighting scheme and a new kitchen. Underfloor heating was installed within the nave and a new floor laid. The schoolroom was made safe and usable as it had reached the point where it was unsafe for the public to access. There was new interpretation in both the church and schoolroom.
An important aspect of this project was community outreach as the buildings sit within the city centre and had lost much of the original congregation and community. After the initial capital phase, three years of operational support was designed to help embed the charity within the community through volunteer recruitment, workshops, activities, concerts, art exhibitions and theatre. The church has also grown over this period, with regular services, weddings, funerals, and christenings.
The Sanctuary Project is the next phase of the Discover DeCrypt Story. It will see the conservation and interpretation of important Mediaeval and Tudor Wall paintings, Mediaeval stonework, and Victorian stained-glass windows. As well as the conservation work, the Sanctuary area and the elements within it will be researched and interpreted for the visitors to understand and enjoy. A very important part of this project is community engagement and audience development including giving students and the wider public access to conservation and heritage skills.

TLC: Talk Listen, Change are looking for a Children and Young People’s Rapid Response worker to deliver a crisis service for children and young people aged 5-18 living in the Wigan area who have been arrested following the use of harmful and physically violent behaviours towards their parents / carers. The service is trauma informed, supporting young people to change their behaviour through work with both them and their families. An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a new Operations Manager / Deputy Chief Executive for Stepping Stones North Wales as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary.
Stepping Stones is a charity based in North Wales that offers free individual counselling, support, psychoeducational courses and resources as well as group work to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We also support family members, carers and friends.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about the charity sector and who, working with our CEO and with a dynamic team of Trustees, can ensure we operate effectively and can support the delivery of our strategy. The successful candidate will be comfortable with looking at ways to strengthen our processes and systems, so we have even more impact.
Stepping Stones North Wales demonstrates respect for, and embraces the use of, the Welsh Language through all our activities and services. We recognise the need to be appropriately responsive to the linguistic needs of Welsh speakers and we are fully committed to meeting the requirements of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (revised 2021). The ability to communicate effectively in both Welsh and English is desirable for this role although we will welcome applicants who demonstrate a commitment to learning Welsh (which we’ll fully support you in doing) and championing its use at every opportunity.

- Responsibility for working with the CEO to develop, implement and monitor the Strategic Plan, the yearly Business Plan and associated processes/documents (policies, guidance, risk register and budgets).

About you
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our friendly events team at the British Ecological Society (BES). You’ll need at least one year’s demonstrable experience in delivering high-profile mid-sized events and conferences. Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Officer will:
- In collaboration with the Events Manager, oversee the delivery of allocated parts of the Society’s Annual Meeting, Symposia, and other events.
- Use digital platforms to support event management and delegate experience -including the website, CRM system, conference abstract management system, Eventbrite, Canva, hybrid conference platforms, Excel, Microsoft Teams and Zoom

The postholder will take part in the design and delivery of the teaching components on the new psychodynamic psychotherapy training programme curriculum. You will join the existing team of course tutors, supervisors and experiential group leaders to grow and embed the psychodynamic training as part of the bpfs flagship qualifying training provision. The postholder will work with and be supported by a core teaching staff group. You will also work with and be supported by BPF colleagues, so that our trainees receive holistic pastoral care from their membership body.
The postholder will be required to undertake several tasks to support the programme including: i. design and shaping of a co-constructed curriculum; delivery of one module in each term (Terms 1, 2 and 3) related to psychoanalytic and Jungian theory; ii. delivery of one module in each term related to trainees’ clinical work; iii. the potential to facilitate an experiential group. This is flexible however and not confirmed at present; iv. support with marking and assessment of coursework; iii. support with student pastoral care.
The postholder will work from Mapesbury Road and will be given administrative support by the bpf. You will need to attend twice termly team meetings and annual meetings with supervisors and personal tutors. You will also have one supervision meeting each term with the Director of Psychodynamic Training.
This is a new post, will develop over time and can be arranged around clinical work.

Your teaching will revolve around our unique learners who are currently engaged with the pre-entry national curriculum framework. Within this framework, you'll have the opportunity to embed functional Math and English skills seamlessly throughout the curriculum.
Your role as a Lecturer:
- Provide excellent delivery, teaching and course leadership to learners across Ambitious College
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people we support
- Work with learners to ensure they receive a service that delivers the outcomes specified in their individualised learning, person-centred plans
- Prepare and deliver schemes of work, lesson plans, assignments and assessments in line with departmental and awarding body requirements
- Work collaboratively with allied health professionals as part of a trans-disciplinary team

Job Purpose
The Trailblazer Lead is an exciting and important role that leads delivery of Babbasa’s Trailblazer Programme - a brand new programme to support the continued professional and personal development of Babbasa’s alumni of young people who have been through our programmes (called ‘Trailblazers’). One of the core aims of the programme is to promote underrepresented young people’s voices in spaces of influence, and to positively shape policy and decision making to better ensure young people’s needs and interests from across the city are represented.
The Trailblazer Lead will achieve this by organising and coordinating activities to support Trailblazers’ professional and personal development, from skills training and workshops, to 1:1 support, to brokering access to resources, spaces, and incentives to support their growth. Alongside this you will be working across the entire team to broker leadership and influencing opportunities for the Trailblazers and supporting them to engage with these from board positions, to speaking engagements, to engagement in research, alongside other influencing activities. The other arm of the programme involves supporting Trailblazers to engage in activities to support other young people and their local communitie, from outreach engagements, to peer mentoring, to leading and delivering their own youth projects. The Trailblazer programme is a groundbreaking programme in Bristol designed to tangibly support young people to tangibly engage in and lead on influence making and policy shaping, in a way that also supports their personal professional ambitions.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Design and deliver outreach engagements to young people in education and community settings aimed at raising awareness of Babbasa’s services, and increasing young people’s sense of confidence, belonging and empowerment.
- Coordinate a programme of skills sessions, training, and workshops tailored to the needs and interests of the Trailblazers, seeking regular feedback on activities from the Trailblazers, and ensuring successful delivery.
- Build a trusting relationship (based on Babbasa values) with young people engaged - to ensure we meet their progression outcome and identify/address any health and safety, disability, equality, concerns or welfare issues.
- With the support of the Babbasa team broker and coordinate leadership and influencing activities for the Trailblazers such as engagement in youth projects and programmes, research projects, access to positions of influence (e.g. board membership), and other Continued Professional Development opportunities.
- Support Trailblazers to engage and successfully influence businesses, statutory bodies, city wide voluntary organisations, and local or national government to advocate for the needs and views of young people from their communities.
- Provide personalised 1:1 support and coaching to our Trailblazers ranging from careers support (e.g. support with job applications and interview skills), to wider professional and personal development goals (e.g. applying for training, attending industry or city-wide events, applying for volunteer roles, finding shadowing opportunities etc.)
- Coordinate and work with the services team to identify potential Trailblazer candidates and onboard them to the programme.
- Monitor and evaluate each of the core elements of the Trailblazer programme, track individual progress including longer term outcomes, and assist to produce monthly reports on activity and impact as well as a bi-annual report to the funder (with the support of the Head of Impact and Fundraising Lead).
- Successfully engage a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels in the Trailblazer Programme and effectively steward those relationships to create strong buy-in to the programme and Babbasas’s wider mission.

You build trusting relationships with young people - you have proven experience working with young people aged 15-30 from a wide range of backgrounds. You have a strong sense of professional boundaries and understand how to engage with young people in a way that makes them feel safe, and supported. You have experience delivering information and guidance to young people using best practice including referring to specialist help where needed. You have a strong understanding of the barriers under-represented or marginalised young people might face in realising their aspirations. You understand safeguarding policies and procedures, and are able to assess young people’s needs and challenges, making appropriate referrals where needed.
You’re aligned with our mission - You have lived experience and/or an understanding of the critical issues surrounding equality, inclusion and diversity, including structural issues around race and class, and how they impact young people within the communities that Babbasa serves. You can deliver effectively - you have experience designing, delivering and evaluating a variety of youth programmes and projects, including activities to build and embed youth voice. You have good working knowledge of careers information and guidance, as well as pathways to further and higher education and are able to deliver effective support and guidance to young people, referring to specialist support where needed.
