What you’ll be doing

 

As the Wesley Community Charity Shop Manager, you will play a key part in our exciting plans to expand the scope of our much-loved community furniture shop. You will help us to drive new business to the refurbished and revamped shop, expand our offer of household goods to the local community, further reduce our environmental impact and create opportunities for people through volunteering, groups and workshops.

 

What we need from you

 

·        Experience of management in a similar setting

·        A proven track record of recruiting, training, and effectively managing a staff and volunteer team.

·        A talent for creating new opportunities for people in the local community and a commitment to improving the environment and reducing waste.

·        The ability and drive to identify and develop new income sources

·        You will need an enhanced level DBS check for this role.

 

What we will offer you in return

 

·        An annual salary of £28,770 Point 17

·        A permanent, full-time contract with Tuesday to Saturday working

·        25 days holiday, and 30 once you've been here five years
