We have an opportunity for a full time Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join our team. You'll be based out of our Newbury Office but serving customers throughout Oxfordshire.

Managing your own diary, you'll be working flexibly between the office, home and out in the Locality.

The starting salary is £30,000 to £35,000 depending on your experience.

The role: 

You'll be responsible for the delivery of a responsive and proactive service to our residents to tackle all forms of hate crime, nuisance and anti-social behaviour. Working alongside housing management colleagues, you'll effectively manage your caseload and take forward the highest priority cases. You'll also make and maintain effective working relationships with external agencies, including the police and legal advisors.

 Responsibilities include:

• Proactively managing a complex caseload whilst seeking creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes for customers
• Contributing to shaping sustainable communities and developing an environment that is safe and inclusive for our customers
• Fulfilling our landlord responsibilities, including adherence to our policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partner agencies
• Preparing cases for legal intervention, working with our legal team to compile the relevant paperwork and attending court as required on behalf of SNG

What we're looking for:

Ideally, you'll have previous experience of delivering anti-social behaviour related housing management services, or demonstrate transferable skills and experience from a similar type of customer facing role.

You'll also need:

• The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised
• Experience of prioritising and organising a wide-ranging workload
• Strong communication skills with previous experience of working with customers in a demanding environment 
• Strong IT skills including MS Office

About the role:

We work within a coordinated partnership response to violence against women and girls as part of the Angelou Partnership. Within the partnership ADVANCE provides independent domestic abuse advocacy and support for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

 The IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process specialising in working with clients at high risk. They will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 13, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. They will advise women on criminal justice and civil remedies and related matters, support women to attend court where necessary, and coordinate the provision of multi-agency support. Part of the role will to be to establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with services providing services to clients and partner agencies within the Angelou Partnership. As a Core IDVA will work across the boroughs mentioned above, under the guidance of the team leaders and project manager.

To be successful as the Core IDVA you will need the below experience and skills: 

To be successful as a Core IDVA, you’ll need to have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved in mental health services, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

About the Suzy Lamplugh Trust

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK’s pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority. We were established in 1986 following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client and never returned. The Trust exists so that what happened to Suzy does not happen to anyone else. For the past 37 years, we have worked towards reducing the risk of harassment, stalking, aggression, and violence. Our Stalking Helpline offers support and advice to thousands of victims of stalking every year, while our bespoke advocacy teams work closely with partners across the Violence Against Women and Girls’ (VAWG) sector, the criminal justice system, and both statutory and non-statutory services to ensure our clients can live a live free from abuse and fear.

You will be working alongside a team of advocates who are dedicated to supporting and empowering victims and survivors of stalking. By working with a caseload of 20- 25 clients, you will have the opportunity to provide holistic and bespoke advocacy to your clients, whilst leveraging your knowledge of gender-based abuse to support the Trust’s specialist mission.

Purpose of Role:

· To provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking.

· To provide guidance and support by telephone, email and face-to-face to those affected by stalking.

· To provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims. 

· To support the operational Team Leaders where required.

About the role

The role seeks to maximise Christian Aid's income by building relationships with trusts within the small trust mailing programme. The post holder will be directly responsible for securing approximately £400,000 in unrestricted, emergency and co-founding income though a small trusts and supporting with activity across the mid-value team (in which the role sits) including wider mid-value campaigns and stewardship activity.

Policy Manager - Terrestrial

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced environmental and/ or land use policy specialist to join the Trust to lead their Terrestrial policy team to deliver on their Strategy 2030 goals. They want to maximise their impact to ensure thgey are a key player in Scotland being recognised internationally for the part it has played in the UN's decade on Ecosystem Restoration and they need a strong policy leader to coordinate and advocate for their policy agendas to help achieve this.

About you: 
 
Your passion for conservation and your demonstrable experience of policy development will ensure that you are a natural advocate, and our policy agendas will be well received as a result. You should be able to demonstrate strong understanding of environmental policy, achieved either through a higher qualification or through working experience in a similar field. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various departments and senior Stakeholders to plan and manage philanthropic income.
• Work with the Advancement Data, Systems, and Services team to standardize tracking and reporting of philanthropic performance.
• Create and develop policies related to philanthropy, ensuring activities are donor-friendly and faculties have consistent guidelines.
• Foster effective working relationships between Finance and broader teams, serving as the central contact for financial matters related to philanthropy.
• Provide expertise on the use of endowed funds, ensuring maximum impact and accountability to donors.
• Ensure philanthropic activities support strategic priorities.

This permanent Senior Finance Business Partner will be required to work twice a week from the organisations head office in central London and will benefit from sector leading annual leave entitlement and pension contributions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in financial planning and policy, preferably within the fundraising sector.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Fully qualified Accountant with up-to-date technical knowledge.
• Proven experience in philanthropy/fundraising or grant policy/delivery.
• Strong track record of strategic financial partnership with senior leaders.
• Experience in developing and implementing financial policy.
• Ability to deliver financial analysis and reporting to non-finance stakeholders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

Your role

As our new parent adviser you’ll  join our wonderful team in Wales as part of our Building Resilience Project.

In this part time, home-based role, you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor parent carers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are best for their families. You’ll also help create and deliver well-being workshops for parent carers to empower, inform, and reduce their stress and help increase their confidence so they are able to access the benefits they are entitled to.  And you’ll work in partnership with money advice organisations across Wales, to set up referrals for parent carers to make sure they get all the financial support they need.

What we’re looking for

• Experience of working with and supporting families who have disabled children in Wales.
• Ability to support and mentor parent carers to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are right for their families.
• Experience in creating, facilitating, and delivering workshops
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns that affect families who have disabled children e.g. leisure provision, education, respite care.
• Knowledge of issues relating to maximising income, accessing financial support, benefits, and other financial issues.
• Good communication, time management, and networking skills.

Sobell House is a hospice based in Oxford. It is jointly funded by the NHS and Sobell House Hospice Charity. The hospice offers specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire. 

It is our mission to enrich the lives of our patients and those who love and care for them. We aim to make sure that excellent palliative and end of life care is available to everybody in our community who needs it.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Charity Fundraising Team in a newly formed role. We are looking for an individual with a passion for making a difference and who thrives on building long-term, multi-faceted relationships.

You will be responsible for the delivery and growth of our philanthropy and corporate fundraising programmes, building significant donor relationships including creating, developing and implementing a portfolio of donor cultivation, stewardship and touchpoints.

Your role will highlight the vital work Sobell House does, and raise vital income for Sobell House.

Overall Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Work proactively to deliver and maximise philanthropic and corporate relationships and delivery of income targets
• Secure long-term, sustainable income from High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Corporate Partners to meet fundraising targets
• Work with the Director of Fundraising and Fundraising Management Team to build and grow a donor pipeline by identifying potential prospects and connecting networks
• Diversify the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy income streams by developing a suite of opportunities for income generation including; multi-year donations, sponsorship, Gifts in Kind, Charity of the Year, Sobell Business Club and payroll giving as well as stocks and shares
• Build, manage and maintain a portfolio of HNWI and Corporate events
• Steward relationships to ensure donor satisfaction and long-term financial commitment, including detailed and timely reporting
• Manage effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues across Sobell House to support prospect cultivation and donor stewardship
• Review and develop strategic plans with the Director of Fundraising and Relationship Fundraising Manager to ensure growth and sustainability
• Manage and maintain donor records and plans on our CRM, Donorfy.
• Develop and maintain stewardship plans to ensure successful development of prospects

Salary: £32,853

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Holiday Entitlement: 36 including 8 Bank Holidays

Pension: 7% employer pension contribution

Sick Pay: 6 weeks in any rolling 12 months after probation completed
