Volunteers have been at the heart of the Civil Service Retirement Fellowship (CSRF) for more than 60 years.
Across the country, people give their time to run our local groups, provide friendship through our befriending services and champion our work within government departments as CSRF Ambassadors.
They are an incredibly important part of who we are.
We are now looking for a Volunteer Manager who can bring these different volunteer communities together and make sure that the people who give their time to the Fellowship feel connected, informed, supported and valued.
This is a varied, hands-on role within a small national charity. One day you might be speaking to a volunteer befriender, another supporting an Ambassador within a government department, helping a local group organiser with a problem or planning our next online volunteer get-together.
You will also help us understand the difference our volunteers are making by ensuring that our records, statistics and information are accurate and up to date.
If you are a people person who combines warmth and empathy with excellent organisation – and you understand what makes a great volunteering experience – we would love to hear from you.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
