Family Link Worker

Sheffield, South Yorkshire (Hybrid)
£28,000 per year
Full-time
Contract (12 months (under review for extension))
Job description

Join the Family Works, a trauma-informed family support charity dedicated to uplifting families throughout South Yorkshire. We're not just a charity; we're a faith-based organisation driven by compassion and a commitment to seeing families thrive.

Our mission is simple: to equip families with the support they need to overcome challenges and build stronger bonds. Whether families are feeling isolated, vulnerable, or simply struggling to cope, we're here to provide a guiding hand.

The Family Link Worker is an exciting role within a growing, passionate and committed team. As a Family Link Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating services between agencies, our dedicated team of Family Mentors, and most importantly, the families themselves. We believe in empowering families to reclaim control of their lives and move forward with confidence.

Working closely with our Senior Link Worker and other dedicated team members, you'll provide invaluable support to families, facilitate communication between agencies, mentors, and families, and oversee a team of volunteer Family Mentors. Together, we'll craft interventions and set achievable goals, ensuring families have the tools they need to thrive.

The right person will ensure that all the family’s needs are met through a range of emotional and practical support and will preferably have experience of working with both adults, children and young people.

If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of families, we'd love to welcome you to our team at The Family Works. Join us in transforming lives and building brighter futures, one family at a time.
