- Drive workforce development and engagement, collaborating with other teams to ensure staff training competency.
- Act as a key liaison with CQC, local authorities, health partners and beneficiaries’ families. Represent RBL in sector forums and policy discussions.

- Proven experience in leading quality and compliance within health of social care settings.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
- Strong leadership with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels.
You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, with occasional travel (incl. for monthly team meetings).

About The Role
We are looking for a casual Grounds Maintenance Operative to help care for the landscapes, gardens and green spaces at the National Memorial Arboretum. This is a chance to work in a truly impressive outdoor setting, with far-reaching views across open parkland, woodland and memorial areas that change beautifully with the seasons. Your work will help ensure the Arboretum continues to look its best for the many people who visit throughout the year.
The Arboretum is the UK’s dedicated year-round centre of Remembrance and is part of the Royal British Legion. At its core, the Royal British Legion is a people-focused organisation. It’s made up of individuals who are committed to doing their very best for others, while also making the most of the opportunities and experiences we provide.
The role is varied and hands-on, involving a wide range of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, woodland and boundary work, and general site upkeep. You’ll also support volunteers involved in horticultural projects and be a friendly, approachable presence for visitors, helping to enhance their experience of the gardens and landscape.
This position would suit someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, takes pride in high standards and values working as part of a team. You’ll be comfortable carrying out physical tasks safely, including occasional work at height, using appropriate equipment and following health and safety procedures. In return, you’ll spend your working days surrounded by some of the most impressive views in the region, contributing to the care of a nationally important landscape.

We are looking for a qualified Chef to join our dedicated care home team where your culinary skills will help enhance the wellbeing of our residents. You’ll be responsible for preparing, producing and delivering delicious, nutritious and beautifully presented dishes.
This is a casual position, offering flexible hours to suit both your availability and the needs of the care home.
Pay: £13.14 to £13.76 per hour.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- Work with the Head Chef to deliver the catering services within the care home
- Prepare food for residents according to nutrition, hydration, and dietary guidelines
- Maintain a high standard of food provision and service to the residents, staff and visitors
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all health and safety records and monitoring adhere to statutory requirements
As a Chef, you will have a City & Guilds 706 (1&2) Food Preparation or equivalent and an intermediary food hygiene certificate.
In addition, you will have excellent communication skills. Previous experience of maintaining standards within a catering department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential, as well as experience working in a care home or similar setting.
