- Lead communications and engagement activities for major change and transformation projects.
- Develop targeted communication and engagement campaigns that support understanding, engagement and adoption of change.

We’re expanding our team and are looking for a Night Care Assistant to join us at Dunkirk Memorial House.

This role offers 36 hours per week Monday to Sunday. Salary £14.36 - £14.57 per hour (includes night allowance).

As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents, many of whom have served in the Armed Forces. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, supporting residents with their daily routines, and ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. You will help with mobility, nutrition, and medication as required, and will work closely with colleagues to provide a safe, welcoming environment. Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals will also be an essential part of your role.

While an NVQ Level 2 qualification is desirable, we are happy to support you in achieving this if you are committed to progressing your career. We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our dedicated team at Dunkirk Memorial House Care Home in Taunton. You’ll help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment by carrying out a range of housekeeping tasks to the highest standards. You’ll be supporting residents’ wellbeing through social interaction and exceptional service.
This Housekeeping Assistant role is permanent, working 35 hours per week (5 shifts over 7 days, including weekends).

Rate of pay: £13.06 to £13.26 per hour

Key responsibilities:

- Provide excellent care and develop good relations with our residents to enhance their overall experience.
- Ensure all areas remain safe, comfortable, accessible and safe for our residents
- Ensure manual handling equipment and associated devices are routinely checked and cleaned for functional and safe use (reporting any damage if required).
- Uphold strict hygiene practices with infection prevention control methods.

Together, the Change and Transformation team take great pride in managing a diverse portfolio of projects, playing a pivotal role in supporting the organisation to deliver change-working closely with our Executive team, as well as other senior leaders and colleagues across the charity to provide expertise in project, and change management.

As a key member of the Change and Transformation, you’ll play a central role in supporting Project Managers to manage competing priorities across the Portfolio, coordinating schedules and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.

The successful candidate will be proactive and highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and experience working in project-based environments.

Some of the key areas of responsibility are as follows:

- Support end-to-end project delivery by maintaining plans, standards, and controls across the project lifecycle
- Assist Senior / Project Managers with tracking project financials, resource allocations and timely identification and reporting of risks, issues and variances
- Coordinate and produce high-quality project documentation and reporting, including status reports and governance packs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment
