ShelterMK is looking for a dynamic fundraiser and creative communicator to drive income growth, strengthen our brand, and build powerful partnerships that change lives.
What you’ll do
- Lead fundraising across corporate, trusts and community income
- Build long‑term partnerships and a strong Trusts & Foundations pipeline
- Deliver impactful digital comms and compelling stories (internal and external)
- Grow our profile, influence local housing systems, and support advocacy
- Use data and insight to strengthen campaigns and cases for support
What you’ll bring
- Proven fundraising and/or communications experience
- We’re looking for people who are:
- Experienced in fundraising (corporate, trusts, or community for a minimum of 2 years) and/or
- Skilled in marketing and communications
- Excellent writers and storytellers
- Confident relationship‑builders who can engage partners at all levels
- Comfortable using data to inform decisions and provide detailed progress reports
- Organised, focused, and able to manage multiple projects
- Passionate about preventing homelessness and supporting vulnerable people
- Experience in housing or homelessness is a bonus, not a requirement.
