Severn and Wye Nature Programme Manager

Flexible – office space can be made available in partner offices in the region as convenient

£41,056 to £45,279 depending on skills

 

 

Severn & Wye Nature is an alliance of 14 environmental NGOs working across the Severn, Wye and Warwickshire Avon river catchments. As part of a major nature recovery initiative, we’re working to restore wetlands, create new woodlands and restore floodplain meadows. We partner with farmers, environmental experts and businesses to deliver shared goals for nature across a vast and changing landscape. 

Following a two-year development phase, we are now ready to move into delivery, building strategic nature recovery programmes across the catchment, and securing investment from public and private sector organisations at a level that will transform the scale of our collective impact.  

 

About you 

We need an experienced, capable programme manager to lead and develop this ambitious partnership. You will require clarity of strategic thinking, excellent relationship and partnership management skills, substantial business planning experience, and very strong organisational skills. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about nature and who will inspire and support partners across the region to enable its recovery at scale. 

 

About the job 

This is a two year fixed-term contract but could be extended if progress is good.  We are offering a salary of £41-45k, depending on your skills, 25 days annual leave increasing to 30, a 7% pension contribution and a range of other benefits. The location is flexible within the region, and an element of remote working is expected.
