Job description

Role Overview

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Event Project Manager role. This Fixed Term position involves leading the end-to-end management of community-focused charity events, ensuring seamless logistics, inspiring participant engagement, and fostering strong relationships across teams to support fundraising objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution from initial concept to post-event activities
  • Coordinate on-the-day logistics, including setting up cheer points and post-race receptions
  • Manage relationships with volunteers, supporters, clinical staff, and community partners
  • Implement strategies to inspire participant retention, community building, and supporter engagement
  • Organise virtual and on-site communications, including online calls, visits, and storytelling projects
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and fundraising teams to optimise event success and supporter experience
  • Track and evaluate event outcomes, ensuring objectives such as fundraising targets and supporter satisfaction are met
  • Maintain accurate records of participant data, fundraising progress, and logistical arrangements
  • Lead community management efforts, fostering a sense of belonging among participants and supporters

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in managing fundraising events
  • Excellent organisational and logistical planning skills
  • Strong relationship-building and communication abilities
  • Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups and supporters
  • Proficient in managing virtual and on-site communications and community engagement activities
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptable with efficient problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines
  • Based in London or willing to commute as required

What’s on Offer
Salary: £43,000 pro rata until June 2027. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in Rugby.
