This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to play a key role in strengthening local partnerships and driving community engagement.

You will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships across the local community, including schools, businesses, faith groups, and voluntary organisations. You will support and inspire community-led fundraising activities, coordinate the delivery of at least one fundraising campaign, and ensure supporters are engaged and well stewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, faith groups, and community organisations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for community supporters, offering guidance and encouragement.
  • Coordinate and support community fundraising initiatives and local events.
  • Lead on engagement for at least one annual fundraising campaign, with the potential to introduce new initiatives.
  • Ensure donors and fundraisers receive timely recognition and impact updates.
  • Support the development of engaging content for communications and social media.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align fundraising activity with organisational goals.

Person Specification:

  • Motivated and relationship-driven professional.
  • Proven experience in community fundraising, partnerships, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrable success in generating income through community engagement and events.
  • Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to inspire and influence supporters.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple relationships and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with donor/CRM systems and an ability to keep accurate records.
  • A proactive, flexible approach, including a willingness to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

What’s on Offer:

  • An initial 3 month contract with a possibility of extension or going permanent.
  • Hybrid working pattern with 2-3 days per-week in the organisations’ North London office.
  • A day rate of £134.39 per day + £16.72 daily holiday for the successful candidate.
