Commercial and Events Officer

Third Solutions is proud to be partnering with a dynamic and growing national health and research charity in the search for a Commercial & Events Officer.

You will play a key part in planning and delivering fundraising events, managing supporter journeys, and ensuring that everyone who fundraises for the charity receives excellent stewardship and support.

You will support the Commercial & Events Manager in planning, organising and delivering corporate stewardship, community engagement and fundraising events (including virtual).

The charity are based in Buckinghamshire and ideally looking for three days a week in their office.


The role:

• Support the planning and delivery of major fundraising campaigns and events, including the London Marathon and virtual challenges
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and community fundraisers through proactive stewardship and engagement
• Optimise supporter journeys across digital and offline channels, working with marketing and external affairs teams to create a seamless experience

The candidate:

• At least two years of fundraising experience gained within a charity environment
• Proven experience in project managing and supporting fundraising events, both in-house and with external agencies
• Comfortable working across fundraising and marketing channels including social media, email, digital platforms such as Enthuse and Just Giving, and CRM systems like Raiser's Edge
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail, solution-focused approach, and ability to manage budgets effectively
• While this role does not directly line manage any reports, experience of people management is advantageous either directly (line management of a team member) or indirectly (of cross team projects, volunteers or external agencies).
