Events Lead

We are looking for a Events Lead to be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of a successful events program, with a focus on events, maximising income, engagement with supporters and raising awareness of the hospice.

The post holder will manage a portfolio of events and work closely with the Events & Community Manager on the introduction of new event products.

This is a hybrid working Essex based role.

The Role:
Take ownership of a growing events portfolio, including flagship events such as a Memory Walk and a bi-annual Ball, while helping to develop new and innovative fundraising opportunities.

Develop and implement the events fundraising plan in line with the overall fundraising strategy.

Deliver engaging supporter journeys that enhance long-term relationships with donors and participants.



The Candidate:
Demonstrable events management experience or similar role.

Experience of effective time management and prioritising conflicting workloads successfully.

Experience of working with volunteers.
