This role will play a key part in ensuring Changeworks can continue to deliver a range of projects and services across Scotland. The Fundraising Development Lead will secure income through the identification, development and writing of funding applications.

You will work with the Business Development team and senior managers on the delivery and successful execution of Changeworks’ business development strategy. Building excellent stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be a key element of this role and will support the delivery of opportunities such as joint bids and initiatives.

The Fundraising Development Lead will also provide peer support to Changeworks staff through working proactively with team managers to identify ideas and opportunities in line with their plans and priorities.

About you

You will have in-depth fundraising experience with proven expertise in securing funding for projects and services. You will have a track record of securing charitable trust and grant income and experience of managing long term relationships with funders and partners. A knowledge of the retrofit, energy or fuel poverty sectors would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

Training and Development of Puppies:

• Take responsibility for a group of puppies (approximately 10) allocated to socialisers living in your geographical area
• Provide training that adheres to ADUK regulations and MDD quality standards in accordance with timescales and targets
• To deliver effective training by holding puppy classes, 121’s and home visits with socialisers in your geographical area
• Conduct regular training sessions with assistance dogs in training in various environments to ensure they are confident and responsive in real-world settings
• To prepare the puppy to be a Medical Alert Assistance Dog, using positive reinforcement techniques to teach desired behaviours and modify unwanted behaviours
• Regularly monitor progress of the puppies in your area and provide detailed, evidenced feedback to the senior team within Dog Supply and Training
• Support and assist when required with the potential matches for a particular assistance dog partnership.
• To successfully prepare the puppy to pass the relevant Assistance Dog assessments

• To ensure all dogs receive the appropriate training required, to pass their final assessment

• To carry out any client specific training on the advanced dogs
• When required, to support the dog and client home stay

• To successfully complete the handover of the Assistance dog to the MAAD Instructor, within the timelines agreed

Other

• Update the Harlequin CRM database in a timely fashion to ensure accurate and up to date training, veterinary and health records
• Support the charity’s fundraising, communications and volunteering teams as required, specifically in relation to your area

This role is a part-time, permanent position (21hrs) with hybrid / flexible working in their Guildhall office, City of London.  The salary for this role is £24,000 to £27,000 which is a full time equivalent of £40,000 to £45,000.

We are looking for a Children and Family Worker to support children and young people who are victims of domestic abuse.

Position: Children and Family Worker

Location: Cross Green, Leeds, LS9/hybrid

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: SCP 7 £27,097 per annum pro rata

Contract: initial three-year contract with possibility to extend

The Role

The Children & Family Worker will support children and young people in West Yorkshire affected by domestic abuse, working with families to build trust, identify needs, and set goals. You will build your relationships with the families to gain understanding of people’s strengths, interests and hobbies, whilst also building up knowledge of the support needs, barriers and issues faced by Gypsies and Travellers.

The Role

A key measure of success will be securing a minimum of three times the role’s salary in financial donations each year.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and apply for relevant grants from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
• Develop compelling proposals and applications that reflect both funders’ priorities and the Foodbank’s needs.
• Identify and approach local and regional businesses to secure sponsorships and financial partnerships.
• Create and deliver tailored pitches, proposals, and presentations for corporate supporters.
• Seek and maximise match-funding opportunities to increase the impact of donations.
• Provide excellent stewardship of funders and sponsors, ensuring timely reporting and relationship management.
